Sooo yeah Womier has changed their name to GamaKay. Learned that just after posting the video, so sorry for any confusion. So when I say Womier just pretend I said GamaKay.
I bought the Womier/Gamakay K87 last month and did a lot of mods (changed out/clipped/lubed/bandaid stabs, added foam piece to the back of the pcb, lubed gateron reds & added film, and changed to DSA keycaps) and it makes such a difference!! The hotswappable feature really sold it for me. I also bought the pudding keycaps and it looks really nice with this keeb! Thanks for another review, I enjoy watching them :)
what foam did you put at the back because i was worried it might mess up the rgb lol
@@jjcrpytaps5271 I used 1mm neoprene foam! And it wouldn't effect the RGB, since it's placed directly behind the case and not on the RGB lights! I don't suggest foam that is thicker than 1mm because you wouldn't be able to close the case completely.

Got my k87 in and installed "Kailh BOX heavy pale blue" switches and the pudding PBT keycaps. ABSOLUTELY a joy to use for typing/gaming.
I want to install the kailh box white, do you think that they're at the same level?
@@kaedo-2740 Yes absolutely. I was considering getting those but upon searching around for something a little less clicky and more of a "thock" sound, I decided on the "Kailh box pale blues". Once they were lubed and installed on the keyboard with the pudding keycaps I was very pleased.

@@kaedo-2740 I'm still learning everyday! The little bit that I do know came from years of just trial and error LOL. I have amassed too many keyboards over the years! I have several that I would be willing to sell if you are interested in buying some quality keyboards that would be cheaper than the new ones. And I keep them in their original box if I'm not using them.

Nice and informative! How do you feel about the stabs and lubing the switches? Do you think the keyboard needs it?

Also the K66 is hot swap on Amazon with fast delivery and makes the puddings look so much better having bottom mounted RBG! Edit: Plus the opacity is damn near clear on the K66 vs the K87, I like the look of a TKL, but I never use the arrows, so it is just that much more keyboard in my way!!! Thanks for the review!!
I bought the wormier k66 a month ago from China, got it in about two weeks I put kraken keycaps on it sounds so smooth and nice I would recommend getting any of the wormiers but buy extra keycaps as a lot of people are sayi the run off abit to easily
i had mine with gat yellows, and i moded it and it feels so good
Nice video man! Im planning to buy this keyboard, but my question is: Is there any improvement in terms of feeling and comfort between the stock and the pudding keycaps? Does the pudding keycaps feel like more premium, more pleasant to the touch? Or the only thing that really change is the appearance? Thank you 🙏
The pudding keycaps do feel better imo than the stock keycaps but they are still pretty thin and not going to blow anyone's minds other than aesthetics

What is the polling rate of this keyboard ? And is it possible to adjust the polling rate in the software ?
Gamakay k61 is released. I prefer that than the other 2.

I just got mine today, the keycaps changed away from the kind of ugly, segmented font that's in your video, to a cleaner, normal set but still white and shine-through. Interestingly, my box and the amazon listing still both say Womier instead of Gamakay

Might have some size problems with the right shift key. I don't know off hand if the hyper x has extra compatibility sizes but I don't think it does. Might want to look into HK Gaming pudding keycaps for that

Only thing stopping me from getting this is there is no angle stands on the bottom of the board. Too flat

You can get pudding from many more brands,for example the hk gaming ones that I use have no Branding and are clean,plus there's extra keys for a UK layout
