The red cardigan is so beautiful , although they are all simply gorgeous the red is my favorite.
I love turtlenecks under blazers, but now I think I want that beautiful motorcycle jacket!! That looked fantastic, as did everything else!

OMG I didn't know that I needed a polka dot shirt until this very moment. Love the cardigan with turtleneck. My mother used to wear her English school girl uniform cardigan backward with buttons down the back just to be a little extra chic. I love to do this too. Would be fun with a merino turtleneck.

I did the opposite! The turtleneck I've been wearing today is a little bit tighter in the neck so I've worn a silk scarf over it - which I've been enjoying too! I bet you look amazing!

Great ideas for turtleneck
Absolutely loved this video! I really feel the cold and wear turtlenecks and skivvies throughout winter. Just a note to other readers. If your neck skin is not as taut as it used to be, beware the tighter necklines - they may be cosy, but the loose skin gets caught and emphasises something we’d rather hide.

Hi Marie-Anne I like your turtleneck suggestions. I like the Polka dot blouse worn under a turtleneck. Find it very chic. I have a corduroy shirt that is a bit too big so I wear a cotton turtleneck under and looks and feels very comfy. 👋

I LOVE turtleneck tops and sweaters. Thank you for more ideas in how to style them this season. I’m taking my husband in a little holiday escape for New Years and can’t wait to try out some of these styles. We will be in colder weather and outside or in the vineyards tasting wine. Its just that Nigerian weather is definitely NOT turtleneck friendly otherwise I'd wear them every other day!

I love all the outfits, brilliant. I'll keep them in mind when I travel next week with lighter fabrics for the warmer winter weather. I did note that Banana Republic's website is quite striking and very artistic. I recall when I was in secondary school, I loved getting the catalogs with the WWI Army Air Core pant and leather bomber jacket reproductions. When they sold and the brand changed, I still bought, but now the visuals and combinations are quite attractive. If I lived in a colder climate, I would have made a home for that cream fuzzy jacket. In case I do not see another video before Christmas, Merry Christmas and enjoy with your family, friends, and chihuahuas.

I loved getting the Banana Republic catalogs back in the 1980s when the Zieglers owned it, and it was just one little store in Mill Valley, California where I would shop. They had so many surplus military items from around the world. When they sold to a large corporation, the catalogs continued for some time, but the store stopped selling the unusual and unique military surplus items--what a shame. I wish I still had those clothes and a canteen, as well as a pitch helmet that I tied a beautiful silk scarf on.

I love me a turtleneck. ! I wear them from September to May and light neck warmers during the summer because of the AC . As I'm watching this I have a sand colour cashmere turtleneck with an Ecru hooded zip shirt over that . On top a French Dressing denim jacket , I'm not technically inclined or I would send a pic . Love all your looks !

I live in Sun City, Arizona and escaped to Utah (here now) fir a few days so that I could wear some of my beautiful winter clothes, coats, boots. It snowed here last night, so that's exciting. I have a black Dior cashmere scarf with "Dior" very subtle on it---very warm, cozy.

I love layering turtlenecks - I am an inverted triangle/top heavy hourglass shape so layering really breaks up the bust area for me. Great ideas!

Loved all of these. Functional and fashionable. That one look with the blouse's lace cuffs and collar showing under the sweater gave me an idea. Amazon sells false lace sleeve cuffs and false collars (also called dickies) for the same look without the bulk of layers, if you live in a mild climate.
Wish we knew were to buy the ivory-multi turtle neck in your intro.
I enjoy your videos very much Marie-anne with some lovely ideas. However, I don't seem to get on very well with 'layering', I just feel too bodged up, and look several sizes larger than I'd like although I'm only size 10/12 UK. Any suggestions please ? X

Dear Marie-Anne, do you think layering is an issue when you have a harsh winter, and most people are wearing a down jacket? If I wear a leather jacket or a thinner coat, would I be out of place, therefore, not "chic"? Merci!
I live where it gets down to -30°F in the winter. I layer most of the winter because I need to be warm outside, and I may need to shed layers inside. As for wearing thinner coats than everyone else, I usually wear heavier ones because most people here don't dress appropriately for the cold, so if they are wearing a jacket, they probably should be wearing a coat, gloves, and hat. The other day it was 20°F and people were out shopping in shorts. In other words, taking care of my health is more important to me than matching what other people are wearing.
Bonjour Marie-Anne! So many layers! I was feeling a bit breathless and claustrophobic just watching you add layers, I must admit.
I liked the first look the best and and the second was nice too. I think the Breton top over the turtleneck would be as many layers as I could handle, with a light jacket to suit the weather, wet or windy. I tend to prefer something close to my skin to keep warm on very cold days. A thermal undergarment - cami or singlet with thermal properties if it’s cold.
Good ideas for layering turtlenecks in very cold weather. With so many layers, ton sur ton is a good idea.

I am afraid that I can’t wear turtlenecks anymore. Since menopause my core body temperature is about 10C above the rest of the population and they make me feel like I am boiling over and being strangled. So I wear a lower necked sweater with a scarf which can be taken off as soon as I go indoors.
