Thank you for the tips. I never would have thought of wearing a neck scarf with a turtle neck.
That's a really nice idea -- to have the scarf tucked inside the turtleneck. Beautiful scarfs! Also, a scarf feels nicer than wool on your neck.
It really surprised me hearing anyone find turtlenecks boring!
They are my favorite piece of clothing since I was a child and I find them absolutely gorgeous and perfect for colder months. Not to mention how they upgrade your outfit!
Lovely video!
Bonjour Marie-Anne: I never would have thought to add scarfs to my turtleneck sweaters. Fantastic idea for another sophisticated look. Thank you so much.
Marie-Anne, I love your highlights and all the goodness you bring to all of us during these hard times so we continue to be resilient in French chic style!!
Turtle necks have been a beloved must in my winter wardrobe for decades! So versatile and chic that I've never considered them boring. I love wearing them with my dear mum's vintage necklaces from the 60s, 70s and 80s, such good quality and now unique, made with beautiful stones, metal, or pearls - a turtle neck showcases them perfectly. Finally, a simple gold or silver chain, with or without a 'medaille'/pendant is perfect too! To elongate the silhouette, a long necklace will add the v neck effect, or a beautiful scarf can create vertical lines also. And all the suggestions in the video are lovely!
You nailed it with your comment:versatile and chic!
I have been wearing turtlenecks every winter. And I have a decent collection. They are comfortable and chic. I usually style them with a statement necklace or earrings. I never thought that they would look so nice with scarfs. Thanks for the tips!!!!
Wow such a great idea. I always wear turtlenecks but never considered putting a scarf on the inside.
OMG....this cream sweater with the blue/red scarf that picks up your lipstick colour....sooooo stunning!
Hi Marie-Anne, love turtle necks but sometimes wool can be a bit itchy so I too wear scarfes with them and I think they look great and brightened up dark colours near the face!!
I love turtle necks. I have worn scarves but you have me some more creative, flattery ideas. Merci!
I had to "zoom" with family for Christmas, and I felt very prepared to be seen with my chic scarf and turtleneck combo! Merci, Marie-Anne!
Good Evening Marie Anne from the UK🇬🇧 I love your videos and get so much good advice and inspiration from your channel... I too have always been a turtle kneck fan and have quite a collection including 4
M ans S cashmere ones which I get out every year and wear constantly... A couple of years ago I started to collect silk scarves which I found in second hand stores actually.... very inexpensive. ... I spires by your lovely Lily Silk caramel sweater and Hermes scarf I got them all out and teamed them up with my turtle necks as you have done so effectively... God Bless you. ❤️
I've always been a fan of turtle necks, but just wear them under a blazer or a vest........Your scarf ideas are WONDERFUL!!! I have a drawer full of scarves I've been wanting to use more......and now I have the different ways to use them......Thanks a bunch!!!
Thanks Marie - Anne. I have a long neck and have always worn turtleneck sweaters. I started wearing a silk scarf inside the neck of one of my sweaters because it is itchy. Now I’ll do it more often with other sweaters. Also thank you for the ideas of folding the neck in different ways.
Thank you MarieAnn for your insight and wonderful tips, on how and what we women over 50 and 60, should be wearing to enhance our beauty
I'm excited about all the ways you showed us to style turtlenecks. I like turtlenecks, but it's never occured to me that I could achieve all of those looks with them. Thank you.
xo~linda
One of the best piece of clothing is the turtleneck❣
Wonderful styling ideas! Especially when your wearing one that’s a bit itchy. Silk is such a beautiful fabric and looks and feels lovely around your neck. I have many so now I have some great ideas to wear them during our cold Chicago winter🙋♀️
My mum has just gifted me 7 tops Like this and am so pleased I found this video.
This autumn will be chic. 😅
Thank you xx
I love turtle necks, they look so classy, not to mention they keep you warm. My neck and face are thin, so they suit me well, but I’ve never tried those looks with the scarves. I will now! Thanks for the tips!
A goldmine of great tips as usual. It's true, I get bored with turtlenecks, but it was just me being boring! Love those scarves. Thank you for sharing!
Gwen,
Good to see you here! I know what you mean; we are only limited by our imagination. So helpful to see someone else's ideas to spur us on.

@@nataliamiles7109 Hi! Yes, uplifting, especially as we go into the grey of winter over here xx
Not only will I try scarves with my turtle necks, but thank you for the new ways to wear my favorite pins and pearls! Merci!
Love the fact the scarves are Canadian.. thanks for introducing me to her wonderful products
I love scarves and turtlenecks so thank you for this really chic way to wear them.
Lovely video, I’m in love with your simplicity and elegance
I have so many of my gramas old beautiful scarfs-some very old but still beautiful. Now I will try wearing them inside a turtleneck and they will have a new life
Black turtleneck and jeans with boots is my go to outfit.
This was on my feed. I'm going scarf shopping tomorrow because I want color around my face too!🤗
Because of some 'cold neck' thing I've had for years using scarves and other neck warmers inside my turtlenecks has been happening for years . I've never seen anyone else doing it so I didn't have much perspective on how it actually looks . It looks good ! Many people say they don't like all that wrapping around their necks .
I love wearing scarves. This was so informative. Merci beaucoup, Marie Anne.
Always loved turtleneck & scarves and you just elevated them! Thank you for sharing!🥰
I always wear it with a necklace, sparkly and colourful… the scarf is also a good idea 👍🏻
Hello Marie-Anne..I love turtlenecks and this is such a fantastic idea with the scarves…….beautiful and unusual. Exactly what I would expect from you…Merci!
Annette here, I like the idea of a scarf peeking out from under the turtle neck. I'll give it a try! Also would be great with a crew neck!
I love turtle neck sweaters it keeps me warm
I'm afraid to wear turtleneck sweaters because I have a very short neck, I love the ideas you have. Thank you for ALL the great ideas.
You might want to try mock neck tops instead. .
Bon jour Marie-Anne! Love these ideas because I wear turtlenecks all winter.
Such fabulous and fantastic ideas, Marie-Anne! I love the idea of placing the scarf inside the neckline. I am used to wearing the scarf outside, not in. Inside is so chic! I will be trying this over the Holidays. The other look is the brooch attached. What a lovely and simple way to dress up the turtleneck,. That and a lovely skirt and one is dressed for any gathering. That would look lovely with a floor length skirt for black tie events. Simple and elegant! LOVE IT! Thank you, again!
Marie Anne, your hair cut looks beautiful today! and I really love the grey turtleneck styles with this blue scarf!
@@MarieAnneLecoeur Yes, I noticed the extra brightness to your crowning glory.
J'adore l'idée d'accessoiriser avec une broche ! Surtout la vôtre, Marie-Anne, qui est superbe 👌🤩!
I have a large collection of Hermès 90cm scarves and wear them like this ALL the time. I fold them into a large triangle and wrap the tails around my neck 3 times ending in a small knot in the back. I then tuck the folds of silk into the neckline. I love the pop of color and it feels luxurious!
Loved all the ideas…! So beautiful !
How nice and unexpected. Turtleneck are very chic and I would definitely wear one, whether on its own or with the accessories if I had a longer neck.
Scarves with Turtlenecks?!?! 🤯 Who knew??? Marie-Anne did! Can't wait to try this. Unfortunately, we are about to have unseasonably warm weather here in California. Gotta wait a bit.
Now I can wear my silk scarves this winter! I really love my turtlenecks but greatly miss my sock scarves to elevate my outfits. I remember in the spring time, the day started considerably warm but we had a cold front moving, I was out all day. I took my silk scarf that was tied on my purse in a bow put it around my neck in a desperate attempt to get any extra bit of warmth. I was very surprised at how warm I was putting it around my neck! I’ve always perceived silk to be a rather delicate and cool fabric, which it can be too! I love the versatility of this fabric and quality silks are actually very durable!
This way of wearing scarves is so clever and flattering! Thank you Marie Anne!!
Love watching your videos!!
Thank you for the tips :) the last look is divine on you. Beige really suits you especially with that scarf
Good one, Marie Anne .
And thanks for Twitter :)
I love turtleneck sweaters. always so cozy and classic . All of your ideas only help to expand my style. Thank you. I love your "joie de vivre" attitude
Thank you for the helpful hints.
I love this video! French chic at your fingertips. Thank you!
I think this might make turtlenecks possible for me! Fun to experiment, Marie-Anne. And PS your husband is doing a very good job.
Turtle necks are my absolute favorite for warmth and sophistication and I was so happy to see you feature them! Many thanks for sharing yourself “fussing” with the best look for each sweater texture and color. The possibilities are endless, and yes, I was one of those that kept thinking that you looked very elegant and stylish in your referenced video!
Another brilliant video from you. Thank you for the great french chic ways to wear a turtle neck sweater. Next winter I will make the effort to incorporate these amazing looks into my outfits. Currently it's summer in Brisbane Australia. Thanks Marieanne
Dear beautiful French chic lady Marrie anne. ur all looks and tips are very great and effortlessly chic. the last look totally amazed me. u r the best 😘
Wow! Thank you Marie-Anne, I Love the scarf look under the collar of a sweater!! Can't wait to do it with my Grey wool turtleneck sweater for this fall. Maybe with jeans and trainers.
Love the scarves with the turtleneck 💖💖💖💖
My beauty, love your scarf adds to customize our turtleneck, with a pop of color awesome and a creative change with our tops...tumba Up girl. Love it😎👏
What a brilliant idea 🌟 thank you 😊
Amazing tips.❤️🤗Love the scarfs with the turtlenecks .
That’s what I’ll do when Winter comes around. I never thought of wearing the scarves inside the jumper. They look great.
Marie Anne… well this was a diamond for me! About a year ago you had a video about wearing silk. I wrote a comment that I lived in the Chicago area and am always cold and that I could not wear silk because I thought it was too cold in the winter. You replied that I should try it and that silk was warm…. I trusted you and launched out with Lily silk. A year later I have silk camisoles, silk blouses silk shirts, tea shirts and on and on! I love it. What a difference a silk camisole makes under a warm sweater. This alone has made such a difference in my comfort when it is 20 below zero😱. I wear a lot of turtle necks (Cotten.. because I have a sensitivity to wool and cashmere). Your scarf idea is a dream ! I have quite a few silk scarves now🙂. This will be my new adventure! Thank you so much! From the US in Illinois, where it has already been in the 20s.❤️
I’ve been a bit hooked on Lily Silk since the brand started about a decade ago. This is only brand I shop every month! Once one starts wearing silk, everything else just feels inferior!
Salut Marie-Anne - I am enjoying your videos so much, especially when you showed the styles to never wear - so funny! It is so true that designers can have bad moments. I have learned some very useful tips to re-style my wardrobe to suit me better - and get rid of the things that do not serve me anymore, if they ever did, lol. Merci bien!
I LOVE how you tied all of those scarves, you gave me such great ideas!
Fun scarf/turtleneck styles! Lots of good ideas...😉
Thank you, Marianne!
🌿💐🌿🥂💚🥂🌿💐🌿
Turtlenecks are a definite must for me during the winter months. I love the tip of using the scarf under the turtle neck. Thank you for sharing with us!
Very beautiful and elegant and tasteful you truly have a great knack for design. Just love the scarves am going to buy some. Thank you
So elegant!
My favorite wardrobe piece, the turtleneck! I love this way of wearing them. I plan to try it. I get to wear two of my favorite things, scarves and turtlenecks! 🥰
Brilliant! Je n’ai jamais porté un foulard comme ça! Merci
turtle necks are fancy and cool Marie-Anne love it
You did it again Marie-Anne! Turtlenecks are my favorite go to and you of course elevated them! Thank you so much 😊.
Oh my yes, turtlenecks & scarves are a girl's best friend! They are the best & most chic tools for camoflauging the post menopausal neck. (I've loved them since I was young, however) Merci, Marie-Anne!
Love my turtlenecks and LOVE these ideas! Merci!
I really think silk is by far the best fabric for scarves. They add warmth if you need it, but are also super-breathable if you don’t. They are highly-resilient and wrinkle-resistant and I have never heard of any person who can’t tolerate silk. I never have to iron mine, except to remove the initial packing creases, I just hang them up after wearing and they are perfect in a few hours. Fast-fashion brands are offering lots of polyester ones, but they’re no more breathable than plastic wrap, don’t add warmth, wrinkle like crazy and look cheap, because they are. I don’t waste money on them, it’s very easy to find 100% silk at most quality brands, or even Amazon. I store mine on a 36-hook “belt rack” from the Container Store, so I can see them all and to prevent creasing. I use the folded-over label as a loop, or add a matching ribbon loop for those without them. If you can see your scarves, you’ll wear them a lot more.
I have been doing this for awhile. Absolutely love it!
Been wearing Hermes scarfs 4 years in different ways over my turtle necks. Will now try smaller scarfs tucked under the neck. Too cute.
Hello Marie-Anne. Lovely ideas to change up and elevate a turtle neck - thank you. I live in Canada so happy to know about this company. I had commented earlier that when wearing some wool sweaters I have experienced some itchiness. After doing some research online and watching various videos I am pleased to say that I did find a solution that worked very well for me. It is easy to find several videos online on this subject, and that combined with the steps on wikiHow gave me a good idea of how to proceed. I did 3 of my Marc Cain sweaters and 1 Lululemon and it was very successful indeed. While the process takes some time it is well worth it. I hope that anyone looking for a solution will watch a few videos to get a sense of the steps and then download the steps in the wikiHow presentation on How to Make Wool Less Itchy. Best Wishes!
I just discovered your channel. I love your style. J’adore
Bonjour Isa and a Big French Chic Welcome to you x

They add pizzazz to any outfit. Thanks so much.
Thank you Marie-Anne!
Joining the others in thanking you for the fantastic idea of turtle neck and scarf. With crew and v necks, I use scarfs. Well, as you say, why not with turtle necks. Love

Dear Ms. Lecouer:
Thank you for showing us how to elevate the turtleneck to new heights of elegance. I love the broach; I had never thought of wearing it with a turtleneck. The scarves look beautiful against your skin tone. I cannot wait to try these; but, it will be a while, since it was 80 degrees today in Arizona!
Natalia Miles
I love my turtlenecks.
I needed this one - all my friends complain about my plain turtleneck (black maybe navy if I am feeling radical) Thank you as always
i have many scarves I never wear, but now I will try tucking them into my turtlenecks. It is such a warm and chic look for these cold wintry days! Thanks for the wonderful tip, Marie-Anne! :-)
Plein de belles idées! Merci!
Brilliant! I've never thought of having a scarf tucked into the neck. BTW Marie-Anne, if I had your smooth neck, I would wear V-necks all the time.
Ooh, the grey cable sweater and the peach with the scarves - fabulous!!
Love the scarf idea
I love that you added a scarf - it looks so chic paired with a turtleneck.
Love this! I have a black turtleneck and a black/white scarf and can’t wait to try this! ❤️ Merci Marie-Anne
