    Great videos MotoGeek,
    Is it possible to use bluetooth speakers instead of the supplied speakers on my Slim as I have custom moulded ear plugs with bluetooth speakers in them. I have tried to connect the unit with not much luck and also connected the slim and ear plugs to my bike (FTR1200) but only one or the other will work.
    Any ideas??
    Cheers

    What would the best way be to pair Packtalk slim with a sena sr10 that is hardwired to a two way radio. Via Bluetooth device or Bluetooth intercom, the two way radio is device but I’m thinking the sena sr10 might be intercom. I have it paired as device now but as soon as I push the PTT on the Sena sr10 my Cardo connection to my music on my iPhone stops playing music and does not reconnect. Thanks!

    thanks for the video, is it possible to pair cardo 2 devices at the same time and use at the same time? like listening to music when u hear tom tom gps as well?
    kind regards,

      @MotoGeekFreak  Před 4 lety +2

      It's definitely possible to pair two devices to it but one will always have priority over the other. In your example, you'd be listening to music....the gps would cut in to tell you directions (music would go away for that moment because the gps would have higher priority) then the music would come right back. Hope that makes sense!

    Tried with slim and sena 50s. Would connect and have connection for a minute then it would disconnect. Sitting beside each other, not riding. Any suggestions

    • @MotoGeekFreak
      @MotoGeekFreak  Před 3 lety

      Do a Master Reset on the 50s (the little push pin hole on the backside) and try it again. That SHOULD do the trick. I run into that with my Sena 20s somewhat often and that's the fix for me. Good luck and hope it works out!

    one more question please, can the Cardo overcharged? or it will stop when it reach 100% battery?

    • @MotoGeekFreak
      @MotoGeekFreak  Před 3 lety +1

      I'm positive that it stops once it hits 100% and the red light goes off. I leave mine plugged in almost all the time when not using and hasn't been an issue.

    Great video! In our next ride we have 2 Cardo riders with DMC, then 2 Sena Bluetooth riders. Can we place them all in one group? If so, do we add DMC,s first then Bluetooth riders? What steps are needed to accomplish this, Thank You for your time!

    • @MotoGeekFreak
      @MotoGeekFreak  Před 4 lety +2

      @mver Thanks! For this ride, I would definitely connect the 2 DMC headsets in "DMC Intercom Mode". It's basically a guarantee that at least those 2 will stay connected reliably. Then, I would add the Senas to the conversation by using the "DMC Bridge" feature on the Cardos. I recommend watching my video on that feature for the details, but basically, each DMC headset will pair with one Sena (DMC headset "1" will pair with Sena headset "1", and DMC headset "2" will pair with Sena headset "2") and then Bridge that Sena headset into the group's conversation. **One thing to keep in mind: your range when pairing cross-brand like this will be short. The 2 Cardos with DMC will still have their normal range, but the connection to the non-Cardos will be kinda short. This is the case with any brand pairing to a different brand, and just something to keep in mind. Sorry for the novel but hope that helps!!

    So if I've paired my phone and my GPS to the headset how do I toggle back and forth between them??!
    I have my phone paired in slot 1 and my GPS paired slot 2 but I can't hear any of the information coming from the GPS. if I switch them so GPS and slot one and phone in slot 2 I can only hear the GPS. Basically I can only hear the Bluetooth device paired in slot 1

    • @MotoGeekFreak
      @MotoGeekFreak  Před 3 lety

      Keep the phone paired on slot 1. When it comes to slot 2 for the GPS: hold down the Mobile button until you see the red/blue flashing light. Then, double click the same Mobile button (light changes to red/green rapid flashing). THEN!...spin the roller-wheel (any direction), you'll see the rapid red/green flashing change to a slow red/green flashing. THIS is the correct pairing mode you want to be in for a GPS device. When paired this way, the Packtalk will know that when the GPS has something to say it comes through. Hope that makes sense and it should most definitely do the trick!

    Hi, can you help me? I made it earlier, but I cancelled pairing between the communication and my phone. Now I can switch on, but it starts dmc comm. I can change it bluetooth comm, but my phone doesn't it and i can't do anything else with packtalk, just change between two system. I reinstalled the software, it isn't solved my problem...:(

    • @MotoGeekFreak
      @MotoGeekFreak  Před 3 lety

      Hard for me to understand what’s really going on here, but in this case- a Master Reset on your Packtalk and then re-pairing it to your phone should knockout whatever issue is happening. Again I can’t really tell the problem you’re having, but that has a good chance of fixing it I think! Good luck man and hope it helps.

    I am trying to pair the cardio pack slim with a sena Srl for neotec 2... can you tell me why it says rider A pairing, and the sena is in pairing mode, and nothing happens.

    • @MotoGeekFreak
      @MotoGeekFreak  Před 3 lety +2

      Because you're trying to pair to a non-Cardo headset, you have to use a different pairing mode. The rider A pairing mode is used when pairing to another Cardo device. SO, use this video to help explain how to do it using "Cardo Gateway" pairing mode czcams.com/video/WX4RS_QutXs/video.html Hope it helps!

    Can i have my iPhone and Garmin connected at the same time I´m connected to a non-Cardo unit?

    • @MotoGeekFreak
      @MotoGeekFreak  Před 3 lety

      It's a yes and no answer.
      YES if paired up like this: You're the one using Universal Intercom/Cardo Gateway Pairing Mode to pair with the non-Cardo's Mobile Phone Pairing Mode (the way all universal pairings work). In this arrangement, your Cardo treats it like a normal Intercom pairing and all should be good.
      NO if: The non-Cardo is using it's Universal Pairing Mode to pair with your Mobile Phone pairing. In this case, your Cardo thinks it's on a phone call when talking to the non-Cardo, and that not only uses up one of your pairing slots (either the iPhone or the Garmin) but it also takes top priority and overrides everything else.
      Hope that makes sense and helps out a bit!

    Hi , i have cardo packtalk slim and dont work the button + & - for volume!! its problem from settings???

    • @MotoGeekFreak
      @MotoGeekFreak  Před 2 lety

      Hi, if the + and - buttons aren't changing the volume for you when you press them then something is (unfortunately) wrong. Clicking those buttons should change the volume, and the app would not have anything to do with that. I'd contact Cardo for replacement if this is indeed the case! Best of luck

    This is without a shred of doubt the worst piece of kit I have ever bought. Voice command sucks, connection to other brands is lousy and the sound quality the same. Binning it and sodding back to my F5MC. Fuck Cardo!
