@ Game Boys. Human growth and development is not only about things getting larger and things getting added on. It is also about healthy regression. For example young children have a large thymus gland, which begins shrinking at puberty, and by age 75 is almost completely gone. The age at which scalp hair starts regressing varies somewhat, and how fast the regression happens varies somewhat, but like the thymus, in a large percentage of men scalp hair regresses. The regression of my own scalp hair been typical for the way male-pattern hair-regression occurs. The hair-loss has no effect on my confidence. It has never occurred to me to me to be the least bit concerned about my normal hair loss. I wasn't concerned about it when my baby teeth fell out. I knew it was normal. I wasn't concerned about it when I started losing areas of hairless skin, at puberty. For example the large patch of hairless skin on my face disappeared. I knew it was normal. I'm not concerned about my male-pattern balding either. It gives me a chance to be creative with the way I cut my hair, or brush my hair. It requires me to wear a straw hat in hot, sunny weather, to avoid sunburn and heat stroke. Now, a large percentage of men do _not_ lose their scalp hair with age. If you are one of the men who is losing your scalp hair and if, for any reason, you would like to have surgery to restore it, that's your prerogative. Whether the loss has an effect on your confidence, or not, it's still your prerogative. But my own hair loss has no affect on my confidence. The loss of my scalp hair has had no more affect on my confidence than the development of my facial hair has had.

@@soilmanted interesting. I value the hair on my head. It all the depends on the person. I know that personally I can be a really judgmental person and it’s cause I know that people judge people for being bald or going bald. It’s not a good look. If I was in my 50s 60s I’d care less. But to be 20 just starting life and to be looking like your dying and life’s already taking you out isn’t a good look.

From my understanding the donor area remains how it is after it grows back at once ... the transplanted hair is what grows at different rates and you see the progress through out the full year however I’m pretty sure as far as donor goes there is no restimulating follicles that were removed

$5000 in Turkey will get you very high-end clinics and far better results.
Personally I would go to Turkey in a high-end clinic which have doctors with 10-20+ years experience and hundreds of past clients.
Rio went for a cheap clinic in Turkey so sadly his bad experience doesn't surprise me.

@@saintsfan0499 Dont think they ever include flight price, which is a fair point to consider.
But for example Dr arslan with hair medico charges approx $4.5k for maximum 4k grafts, with airport pickup, hotel stay etc. He also performs the entire transplant himself (a lot of cheap clinics use technicians, nothing wrong with it since a technician can solely be skilled on carrying out the procedure but having the doctor perform the entire operation is usually better). If you add flights its probably $5.5-6k realistically which is still cheaper than anything in the US.
Alternatively to Turkey you could look at Mexico since you are in the US (im in the UK), I think Mexicos prices are similar to Turkey, $5k-6k for the top-end clinics but Turkey definitely has the best hair transplant doctors.
If money is not a big concern, HLC in Istanbul or Dr Peker/Dr kesem in Ankara they are some of the best hair transplant surgeons hands down but prices are around $10k.

If you’re saying you can tell he had a transplant just by looking at the back of his head you’re absolutely lying… they apply hair repair foam on your head in the seating area not shampoo. And they give you a list of medication to take after your transplant including antibiotics. Please do your research before leaving comments

Asli tarcan is doing very mediocre jobs but y’all are still running to get procedures from him … very cheap prices doesn’t mean good results… he is making everybody very bald at the back to place some hair at the front … if the front was full and the back bald I’m ok with it … but the back is bald the front is weak … your result is nice but in another clinic you would have a gorgeous head full of hair
