I am happy with the result so far but I am just surprised that the name of the doctor who did the incisions is nowhere to be found on the papers from the clinic. It was a lady and when I asked them the next day who did the procedure on me they gave me another name that on their website is a male doctor. Other than that is was ok. One last thing that shocked me is that they announce a painless free anesthesia. Let me tell you it is not painless at all. It hurt a lot. Also the next day after the procedure they almost forced on me to buy the recovery pack with serum and shampoo and vitamins. And it was so expensive. Like 1400 euros for only 9months. I could have refused it but as they presented it I had no choice if I wanted a good result on the hair transplant. Other than that all was ok.

Typically the donor takes time to heal. 7 weeks is still pretty soon and everyone recovers differently based on their hair density. I'd give it a couple more months.
I´ve had 4350 grafts 31 days ago. On day 15 to 22 everything shed. I look the worst I ever looked in my life. Besides the shedding I also had shock loss on the recipient area. So I look like a grandpa. And now I am in the phase where I feel my transplant failed. Especially because the shedding was so early. I read from so many people that shedding is normal etc. but at the moment I feel like a special case. Lets see what happens in the next months.

Depends on rate of hair loss and how aggressive it is. If you Are also losing hair in the donor area then hair transplant is very hard to do without making the donor area too thin. However using minoxidil will not harm virtuelle anyone it is very safe. Finasteride is more side effects but alot of people dont Get them
For a few years or sooner because balding doesn’t just stop it keeps going until it’s completely gone. So you’ll be left with a bald spot between you’re horseshoe and hairline.
Probably but can't say 100%. Regardless even if you get good results from your transplant, it would be difficult to maintain those results without any treatments.

@@amxr Thanks man! I’ve been on the fence about taking it. Through my hair loss journey I discovered that my best look is a bald fade on sides/back with a #4 on top. I want to avoid the scars of a HT and a hair system that short is out of the question. Preserving the little hair I have left would be a dream but I am afraid of the meds due to the horror stories out there. Looking good btw. Cheers 👍

Man, just wait. It's normal for the transplanted hairs to be thinner and to even fall off completely within a few weeks. They usually start growing out again in 3 months and will continue for some months after that. The vast majority of people who get hair transplant WILL see the results, at least if they went to a good doctor, not a butcher pretending to be a hair transplant surgeon. So yeah, just give it some time and FORGET about it for the next couple of months.
I have existing hair like you had but it is thinning. If I get a hair transplant now, it's highly likely that once my natural hair is lost in a few years I'll have to go for another transplant? I should I wait till I lose most of my hair which might be another 10 years away. I am already 40.
It's up to your priority of when you'd like the hair, I'm 25 and I got it done earlier because it's a priority to me now then when I'm older. Also if you keep up with post care treatments you can prevent most of the loss.
