Mudpies
🧡🧡🧡
You both have such winning smiles and attitudes. Always a pleasurer to watch.
Awh that’s a really nice thing to say! Thank you
@@Mudpies I would not say it if it was not true. I didn't even know anything about mudlarking until I saw your channel. When I did it was your personalities that got me to watch, and now I have been introduced to a new hobby. The bonus is I get to learn something too. Keep up the good work!
You two are so cute. love the wonderful relationship that you have. Waiting for the next one. Donna/Northern Michigan/USA
Yep. Absolutely adorable. 😊
Covered in mud or nettle stings Josie always remains a real beauty. Quite an achievement.☺️
😂😂😂
Whether you are in the mud or dodging nettles, it's wonderful to spend time with our favorite father/daughter duo!
😀 being in the moment and enjoying time spent is what it's all about 👍 x
I am a 66 year old retiree grandad living vicariously thru the lovely mudpies. I love your videos and have been a subscriber when you had about 3000 subscribers, I believe. I love those Bovril bottles. For some reason I just love them. I would love to have the entire size collection including the one ounce sample size. That would be amazing.
Thank you squelch squad legend! We've seen people find tiny sample Bovril's too which would be awesome. Take care 😀
My favourites from this nattily dig has to be the two toned stoneware and the green bottle with all of the bubbles within the glass. I fancy the bubbly glass bots.
Josie you are an amazing lady, with the long distance biking then digging so earnestly in that nettle field, you are a legend indeed! Your Mum and Dad must be so proud of you for everything you do.
Please continue digging and squelching!
We're both super proud of Josie 😍, thanks so much for your lovely comments James ☺️
You two have a amazing bond and your giggles are awesome as well just a little time spent together
Thanks 👍🙂
My mom always said that those nettles were eatable. She never learned how to prepare them so we never got the pleasure or non pleasure of try them. Greetings from the U.S.A.
Hello there, we have both eaten nettles. They tasted a bit like poorly spinach 🤢. However they are allegedly quite healthy! 😊
U can prepare them just like spinach (it's better if u mix it 50/50 with real spinach) also u should make it from young nettles, not the fully grown ones
U can make a nettle tea
U can fry them in batter (egg, flouer, bit of water and some seasoning)
There are more things u can do with them but i can't remember now
Happy Father’s Day to Daddy Mugpie.❤
My one glimmer of tranquility and happiness, man did I need this mood boost today.
❤
❤️ we love you sajid!
Enjoy your adventures and winning personalities. To me, i enjoy the mudlarkers who dig for the goodies instead of picking over what others dug up.
Thanks Pamela, we love to dig, it's a great workout 😀 x
Hello from SE USA. Have my Blue Mudpies tee shirt on as I watch your nettles and dump findings adventure! Whew, it looked like you guys were hot and nettled but so rich with finds! Loved seeing the Muddy Duckers too!
Great video as always !! and the Josie's post-race fatigue factor when describing her findings just makes me laugh! 🤩
😂😂😂 thank you lots more races and adventures to come, hope all is well with you 👍
@@Mudpies I know how hard it is to do anything else when it's race day, but it would be awesome to watch a behind the scenes video of pre and post race Josie ! If one day you come to Kön Germany, it will be a pleasure to take you cycling here! 😍
Beating back the vines and nettles for a nice collab. Wonderful day out there. Some very cool finds out in the dump. 👍👊😺
Thanks, it's such a plentiful dump site, you just want to keep coming back! 🙂
The digging site that keeps giving, some great finds. Sending loads of virtual hugs to Jaffa
It's just such a big site! Jaffa is fast asleep next to us now 😺
Wow! 😲 You found FOUR different milk glass jars! 🤯 That's worth all the nettles right there! 🥳🎉🎆 Hilarious entrance by the Muddy Duckers. 😁😂 Good day all around, and great video. See you Legends next time. 😊😘🤗💖👍👋
You should make a set of matching drinking glasses from the ones you cut down. I'm absolutely addicted to your channel. xo
Always love to see you two on the hunt for bottles and other artifacts.
Thanks 😍
Y’all need a good weed eater!
Welcome back! Fantastic finds! I just love 'sheared' Top glass bottles especially in Deep aqua and with bubbles!!! ❤ UK
🕺
Joy! A new video! My Thursday is complete! Sorry you all were torn apart by nettles but you sure did find some nice bottles! That two toned stoneware jar is very nice. Take care from the States! See you next time!
We will definitely wear long sleeves next time at the dump! Take care 😀 x
"Inky stinky...lemony spinky". (10:40) You guys are having us rolling here.
😂😂😂
This was a bit like a good day fishing-just pulling out one after another! Love the beautiful green colors of the glass and the history of the sweetie company. Thank you.
I like the fishing analogy, very apt! Our pleasure 😄
Hi guys! I love all the milk glass you found! What about the fruit plate that you also thought might be an ashtray? I look forward to your next video!
🙋🏼♀️🇺🇸🙏🏻
Excellent to see you both on a wonderful dig! Enjoy watching all your videos! Thanks so much for sharing 😊 😀 😊
i always say YAY when i see a mudpie video on my subscription feed!
congrats on 19K! I always love watching you two unearth belters from the muck! lol
and even the dad jokes make your channel so enjoyable to watch. Next time I'm in the UK, I'll have to invite myself along on one of your adventures, Barb
What an awesome haul. Love the small ones.
😄👍
I hope you had a lovely fathers day. thank you for the video!!
Favourite part of the round up was the the round up. Well down Josie for your recent absolutely epic bike rides and races. From 4 wheels to 2 wheels you own it
I hear you Josie singing Weird Al, White & Nerdy 😂🤣😂🤣
Awesome finds as always! I think you guys need to get a bush hog to cut all those nettles down! Absolute legends for braving that forrest! Thanks for sharing!
Nettleville 😱. Great day with friends & great finds. For some reason I love the big glass stoppers. They are always a beauty. So glad you’re back. Truly miss you fun & laughter. ✨🎉♥️
Congrats on the 19K subs will not be long and y'all will be at a 100k subs definitely deserve it keep up the great content you MUDPIE LEGENDS 🙌 🎉
Woohoo almost 20k subs! My fingers are crossed that the 'crucible' is Roman!! 😻
That’s cool news about the crucible. Let’s hope the FLO can solve the date issue.
Looking forward to the next adventure!
I know it's quite tantalising! Roman or post medieval....😃
Mudpies omg she was singing "Ridin Dirty" by Chamillionaire and you just stole my heart Josie
😂🙌 a tune!
Watching now! So far so good, but that’s no surprise. Your videos are always amazing.
Yay! Thank you Sean 🤘
@@Mudpies 🤿❤️
I’m super excited for the flo to date and determine the origin of the crucible/pot
Lovely to see you Mudpies - I really enjoyed seeing your video adventure of wonderment and sweaty nettles!
Both of you are real troopers wading through those nettles. Fingers crossed you soon get more subs, I'm sure you will as people love what you do. Loved the Chivers dish xx
😀thanks x
Awesome fun - loved the stoneware and gorgeous aqua bottles. Can't wait for the next adventure.
Sweet Dreams are made of these.
Hola my Favorite Family Duo !!! I remember the first trip you made to a bottle dump, you barely scratched the surface & kinda pecked around with a half hearted effort to find Treasure. Unlike this vlog which was worthy of a Well earned effort & your rewards were satisfying to watch. Ty for taking us along
Thank you! Such a lot of treasures at this site. It will take a long time to exhaust it , take care 😀
The Pascall bottle is delightful,it appears very thin and delicate on camera.
The cod bottles destined for cut downs, those are always fun to see!
Unfortunately,I have successfully replaced all my drinking glassware with cut down bottles!
Nothing unfortunate about that, but I mean to say,I’m all full up with them, many from you and many from others, they are guaranteed to blow Americans minds!!!
Thanks as always Charles for your support, it is really appreciated! Hope you enjoy those cut downs for many years to come 😄 x
What a great dig ! So many awesome finds even though the nettles were giving you grief. You were so close on that torpedo bottle...maybe next time ! Thanks for your smiles and take care from your squelch squad member...lol...cheers from Ontario, Canada.....Wanda
Thank you squelch squad legend 😃!
What legends , digging in that heat!!!Some belters I think , love your energy. Can’t wait to see if your find is indeed a Roman crusible!!!
More awesome finds ❤❤ thanks for braving those terrible stingers to bring us another awesome adventure ❤ Love It 😊
Dad did a great job with the nettle choppers !
I’ve enjoyed many a Pascall product, here in Australia. They’ve been there all of my 46 yrs on this planet, and beyond. 😊
I always think it's nice when you can see the history behind something you enjoy, especially the advertising! Take care 😀
Congratulations on 19k mudlarks❤🎉
The reason everything is coming out at the top is because you are digging through someone else's spoil pile, and you are finding the bottle's they didn't want.
When you are digging fresh Ash, you can see the layers of Ash and it will be very compacted, but saying that, you really enjoyed yourselves, and provided another great video
Thanks, I guess you're right. It's such a massive site (difficult to tell with all those nettles) and it's just fun to mess around with friends 😀
Hey lovelies. Great fun and finds, as always 🎉😊✌️
Thanks Karen 😄 x
It's a rare day I miss your videos, and I don't generally comment, but I've got to chime in and tell you how much I enjoy your channel. You're wonderful to listen to and the love and respect you have for one another is so heart warming. Thanks for all of your hard work.
Aaah thank you that's such a lovely comment 😍
Great Dig!! Ya’ll wear me out just watching you dig!!! 🤣😅
😂 it is rather tiring, great workout !
So fun to watch, as always guys. I have not seen a Pascal in that shape before, really like that. And also exciting potential news about THE pot, your first instincts might just have been spot on!! xx
Hellloooo legend!! Thank you, I think this dump has real potential for some belters but I think a lot of it has been dug previously… Can’t wait to find out some more concrete info on the pot of doom. Any adventures this weekend??x
Thanks for another great youtube treat! Love watching you two.
A lovely outing ❤ cheers 🍻 !!
Your videos keep me utterly sane in a mad world. British, entertaining, slightly eccentric, harmless, innocent, amusing and calm. Witty banter and repartee. Thanks so much!
😂 harmless banter is what we are aiming for, too much seriousness going around at the moment! Thanks and take care 😀
So many tasty finds! That shell shapes dish/ashtray would have been lovely! I really like art nouveau and art deco shell things 😁 A good mix of bottles and stoneware. I only noticed today that this video has been uploaded!
Nettle tea anyone? They are really very high!! Bless you!
Josie and the pussycats, long tails and ears for hats, josie and the pussycats, yeah! 70s cartoon

always enjoy a good dig in a dump. Another great adventure, thanks for sharing with us squelchers.
That looks like a crucible that I've seen on a history hit documentary actually now that I'm seeing it cleaned up more. I can't wait to get the update on that one! Great finds guys!
We’re really excited about it!!
well done! I am behind and catching up. Love that sweetie jar and the two tone jar! And I always love doll parts as you know. The soil at that tip seemed ideal for digging. Interesting about the crucible! can’t wait to find out the results. Josi, you have been killing it on that bike! 🚵♀️💪
Thanks 🎉always up for a mud pie adventure
What fun! You could use some gardener's sleeves that you can remove once you're done moving through the nettles.
So I’m intrigued, when you both being proper adults what do you do? Mudpie Dad, are you a teacher?? And Josie how’s about you? I imagine you to be in a caring profession? I do love to watch your videos. My fav today was defo the little sweet pot! X
Great Video &great finds👍🏽I always love watching you diggin in the nettles our out in the mud!!!😍
Wonderful finds!!
Thanks 👍
Such a pastel selection, my eyes were drawn to the brown jar behind the white figurine.
Was it a find?
The Pascale sweetie jar really was a fine piece I’m sure you will keep.
I look forward to seeing you both in the mud and learning more about the ancient crucible.
It was up to 27C today in Ontario Canada and I’m plastered with mosquitoe bites.
Bye till next time 👋.
Raiders of the Lost Nettles
Nettle ittttt
Massiv treasure find. Beautiful little bottles, congrats. Great Video.
A machete would do well going through those nettles. Great fun. Thanks for sharing.
Really good day well done
Thanks buddy 😊
Great digging, looks like such hard work at times to find such great finds!! And those ducks!!! ❤🦘
I do love the history lessons! You forgot one though, the shell dish! ❤
That's a sweet little bottle 😉
I wonder what their sweets tasted like!
