What a lovely pile of finds today. Always fun watching what you come across. I'll keep the bottles with broken bottoms and cut it off. They make wonderful cloches for my tender spring plants.

This video certainly showed us the vastness of those mud flats. Agree with you Josie, on a day like that what a great place to tramp around and find those elusive treasures. Loved that pipe, the best find.

Josie must be some kind of iron woman to be out there in the mud after all that cycling. I think it would take me something like two years to recover from all that cycling....Great larking video and some neat finds. My favs are always the Romans and the stoneware! Thanks!!!

Another awesome slogging video from Andy & Josie is always a pleasure to find. It wasn't the best in the way of finding belters, but it was great to see the views from your POV. Good luck in the next digging trip, and remember to protect yourselves from those bloody nettles. Take a scythe with you to cut those buggers, make sure you both wear canvas gloves as well.
Josie, continue cycling for charity, you truly are a legend.

Hi Josie Things are fine here. Very HOT & HUMID. Supposed to get some cooler weather next week. I could certainly sympathize with you out in the mud. Start sweating before you even start squelching. Can't believe you rode to Paris for a croissant. But it's as good a reason as any for an excuse to ride 400K. Funny though I didn't realize Paris was in Sussex.đ Glad to see you really getting into cycling. Time consuming but worth every minute! Very Addictive! Take caređŽââđ„â

Love seeing the mud flats at low tide. Those fins from the bombs would have cleaned up pretty but they must have weighed a ton.

And you can't beat a 16oz bovril, rare in one piece in the wild as the glass is thinner than the smaller ones. Thank you for the video, 20k is on it's way â€
