Mud fever fix sorted...some awesome finds both😊
Leg end! 🦵
You guys are so cute!! I hope you get a zillion followers!
Love the octagonal inks. They are humble little everyday things. But they were used for writing! Letters, notes, journals, lists, poems, lessons, even novels and stories! So I am very fond of them.
Thanks for the very fun video. Rain, mud, and all.
Thank you so much 😊. That's a lovely thought about the ink bottles. Take care 😀 x
Well, Congratulations! You've obviously found a section that hasn't been got at before, which is pretty difficult on that tip. Just goes to show that perseverance pays off. My favourite find would have to be the unbroken ginger beer with the coffin poison a close second.
Heyaaa Dave! 🎉 thank you, we’re really stoked that the dig efforts paid off, great to find that poison as we’ve never found one like it before!
Now that's what I call a haul !!! You two are such great squelch and badger buddies 😄 it's lovely to see as it doesn't happen enough anymore. Can't wait for the next adventure and we all get to go along, brilliant !!🥰🥰 Hugs xx
Thanks Susan. I really think that there are so many life benefits of just doing something simple like digging together. Take care 😀 x
So many beautiful bottles, I can't choose a favorite. Will be glad to see you back on the shore. I'm really happy with the stoneware I got from the last dig 😉
Hello Annie, so pleased you liked your items 👍😀. Take care x
Oh Good Lord!! What a haul. Too many great finds to pick just one.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
We got really lucky and the banter flowed 😀👍💖x
Josie, you look just like your father and I know your father is very proud of you, and you can tell how close you and your father are. My father used to build cabinets all kinds of woodwork, I had to be right there with him. I hope Mama mud pie will join you guys someday.
I know it's uncanny how similar we look sometimes! Its just good to hang out and share activities, digging is something you can literally just lose yourself in. Moma Mudpie will be joining soon for a dig at the tip 😀👍💓
Excellent episode! Wonderful finds and much fun! Love that tiny blue bottle! Thank you all for making and sharing this lovely video!😊❤
Glad you enjoyed it😊
Already looking forward to your next 'Hole'! I love saltglazed Gingers! ❤ UK
Thanks, who'd have thought digging up rubbish from the past could produce such laughs 😂! See you soon x
Good Sunday to you both. I’m a new subscriber to your channel. I must say indeed, your finds are amazing and just love your kindness for each other. Thank you for sharing your finds! Greetings from California USA … 😊
Welcome aboard 🙂! So pleased you're enjoying our channel lots more silliness and adventures to come 😄x
Hello from Ohio. How is the whether there now? Has the hurricane come to you yet?
You wil love following this duo, they have amazing treks through the mud finding stunning things, always with lots of laughter. A joy to watch.Hello from NZ.
Whoa ! what a magnificent harvest of goodies. no wonder you were digging for hours. The different colours of glass are beautiful. With that bottle of cologne, I can remember my Grandma having 4711 in the 1960's , a very strange fragrance indeed. It looks like you've got a good spot there guys , enjoy digging the rest 👍, can't wait to see what other interesting finds you unearth, take care, see you soon
Hello Barbara, really intrigued by that, how would you describe the smell? We will be back to the dump again soon, take care 😀 x
@@Mudpies Hi guys, well as a child I remember it smelling a bit minty, very fresh and slightly floral. Quite strong. You'd have to smell it to see what I mean. I thought it was vile 🤣, but kids have different tastes at that age. I don't recall her ever using it as a cologne, she just kept a small bottle in her handbag, I suppose to use it like the old 'smelling salts' , strange what you remember. I'm pretty sure it's still made so it must still be popular 😵💫 Have a great week x
@@barbaraking6980 thanks for letting us know. Yikes that really doesn't sound nice ! 😂
I would love to see a video on the cut down process! Perhaps Papa Mudpie could teach Josie and us at the same time!
Hello Rebecca, we did a short video on the cut down process about a year ago. We might do another though as we are doing lots of crafting at the moment. Take care x😀
Oh I will go look for that! Thanks!@@Mudpies
I enjoy watching the two of you digging for treasures. Your excitement for each find makes me smile.
Thanks! It's so addictive digging 😄x
I love your father & daughter relationship,& the fact that you have a hobbie you enjoy together! My father taught my brothers & I to play guitar when we were all in our teens & we played together until the day he died 8 years ago at the age of 88,may you both enjoy one another’s company doing what you love for the rest of your lives ! 💕
Thank you for your kind comments, it sounds like you created some wonderful memories ❤
hi guys.
you got some awesome finds . love the little blue is lush and cute.
Copy that 👍x
Bloody Nora! How deep of a cavern did you two dig? It's huge, and deep as hell! Josie you're a tremendously strong person. You both deserve to find some true belters from a dig like that. There's a chap here in the U.S. who travels around the northern midwest digging up areas close to old railroad sites, and he finds a load of belters as well, but what you find are so much nicer. Those Victorian-era bots and ink-wells are incredible, and I love the stoneware ginger beer Andy uncovered.
Well done!
Hello James! We really went full send on the dig but it's so satisfying and keeps you very present. We've seen a few diggers in the US who use maps to locate spots to dig near old railway sites + saloons - some of the locations look pretty cool. Hope all is well with you, take care 😀 x
Love that little blue and the Kutnows bottle has a great story, Aberdeen getting a mention happy days 😂
Cheers Iain, we disappeared down a complete rabbit hole with that murder mystery! I wonder if there's anything left of those original cod liver oil factories? 😃
Yay ... Its a new video from my favorite father daughter duo!!
So many really neat bottles on this dig. You two make me smile with your witty banter and great sense of humor.
Thank you for your time and effort in making the video for us all to enjoy!
Our pleasure thanks for your lovely comments x
What a marvellous array of botts , love the poison bottles and the litte blue dye bottle , great video guys ❤❤
Cheers Claire, we had a lot of fun making this one 😂x
Definitely looked like you had a muddy time , 🤣 great fun x
I'm sure the Marble Atomizer was invented to help the Victorians regain all the 'marbles' they lost. And everyone, let's help Mudpies get to 20k!!!!! 😻
😂😂 nice idea! Thanks so much 👍 x
You guys are great!! Such a great video and oh those treasures!!!! Loved watching! Thanks so much!! ❤ 😊 ❤ 😊
Our pleasure, plenty of banter in this episode x
Great video and great finds. Keep up the good work ❤

What an unexpected treasure to spend the Evening with my fave muddin Duo. getting history lessons from Poppa Mudpie & Josie's infectious energy. Ty for taking us along. Tell Joffa Cakes Yo
Oi oi! Our pleasure, thanks for your support 💖 x

And thank you 😊
I love the tiny blue! All of those bots and only one blue! Watching you two I can feel the joy! ❤❤❤ ❤🇺🇸
Hey thanks Tracy 💖 x
What great finds. Wish I were there! Loves
Thanks so much 😊 x
Hello Andy, hello Josie. The amount of treasure bottles Josie pulled out of the hole was absolutely amazing. Then it was Andy's turn and as predicted he pulled out an amazing amount also. Great to see you both today. Please say hello to Mamma Mudpie for me. Today was outstanding. Thank you both for taking me along. Greetings from the U.S.A.
So pleased you enjoyed it. We have said it before but spending time doing simple things like digging up things from the past is so healthy for the mind and body. Take care 😀 x
Amazing dig guys love all your finds and the history ❤😊
Thanks Dawn 😊💖x
A couple of sweaty muddy tired Mudpies there - thank you for sacrificing your personal comfort for my viewing pleasure - totally beltlord finds, and lots of fun too! Glad that you keep a nice tidy hole at the end 👍👍👌 looking forward to the next one troops!
Very sweaty and tired but well worth it! The simple pleasure of digging up old rubbish, fabulous. Take care 😀 x
Those ink pots including, what I think you called “the black ink” (clay), are wonderful. Your father- daughter banter is exceptional! Thanks so much!
They do have a very attractive and functional shape. They also tend to survive the dump well. Pleased you enjoyed the banter, it was certainly flowing on this dig 😍 x
Hi Josie, please, please, please don't lie down in a deep hole . You need to be standing on at least one leg to jump/push yourself away from a cave in. If you are laying down it is likely that you won't get away quick enough. I have dug hundreds of holes and I know how quickly a collapse can happen in the most stable looking soil. Love your enthusiasm, keep digging !
Fair comment, we'll make sure we are more careful. We always make sure that both of us are there at a dig and oh do we love digging! 😄
I never get sick of seeing stone ware... my absolute favourite!
💓
Another awesome bevy of bottles! I am looking forward to your next one, back in the mud. Take care! Hugz from Washington state, USA!
Thank you 👍💖x
Talk about digging six foot under! Such a lot of great finds! 4711 Eau de Cologne from Cologne still available today! Very fashionable in the 70's! Great work Mudpies! Oi..oi from Oz! ❤😊

L💙VE your finds, daughter dad relationship, how you do the round up now is stellar.
Thanks for the lovely feedback! x
So glad you posted a new video! THE SLEEPER HAS AWAKENED! Lots of nice finds. My favorite find is the small blue bottle. Blue like the eyes of Ibad!
The spice must flow! 😂x
More fab finds! You two are the legends! Be well from washington state USA ❤️
Yay for Washington state 😊
Thanks so much Adrianne you’re the real legend!❤
Josie you inherited your daddies beautiful brown eyes. You guys found a lot of treasure. My favorite was the perfume bottle.
👍 thanks we do look similar! Great choice of fave bott 😄
Jam Doughnuts are the best !!!
We are big custard fans but would never say no to a jammy!
@@Mudpiescustard for sure 😊
Custard is my first choice, but will agree would never say no to a jam one.... Love yum yums too 😋😋😋😋😋
@@mariemoss2475 …… what’s a yum yum
It's hard to explain, it might be easier for you to Google it They are very delicious. # Greggs UK yum yums 😊
Amazing finds you dug up… I second all your favourites and add I like the odd green bottle in front of Josie. (It’s tall and thin).
I look forward to the next mud adventure!
Hello there, good pick, that's an unusual green chemist bottle from London x
Excellent video the ground kept giving, love the way the labels still can be seen slightly on certain bottles and love the detail on the Xmas light, look forward to next vid
It was very generous with bottles and laughter. I know what you mean about the labels it's amazing to see the colours of them revealed after such a while x
Love the vibes here- despite the drizzly weather! You definitely live up to your names. 🥰
😂 the simple pleasures of digging, banter...oh and donuts for Dad !
Major haul today guys! I love the three cornered bottle, and the baby blue. Good job in the mud.😀

Hey there, Lovelies! Great to come home from holiday to this episode. You guys were on form on this dig. Great finds and lots of fun. 🤩✌️⚱️
Hello Karen, hope you had a beaut holiday 😎. We did have a good time on this dig in fact we went a bit febrile 😂😂😂. New vid out next week, thanks for your support, comments and positivity 🙏 x
What a day that was!
I suggest that, when digging deep holes, you bring along a set of secateurs.
Most of those Yuck! Dirt In My Face! moments were after brushing those dangling roots.
True those roots were so annoying! 😄x
The green/blue poison bottle is gorgeous and I loved the tiny blue bottle.
It sure is a cute thing, heading straight to Moma mudpies bookshelf of small finds x
Another great dig and video. I love the way you and your father get along together. Keep up the great work. Alot of bottles of all kinds and sizes.

I think you will be in the running for digging the biggest badger sett, M r and Mrs badger. Would be proud of you. Great finds get Great comments. Love Sue, from Nantwich, Cheshire.
Hi hi from Johannesburg south Africa. Love seeing your finds.
Heyyyyy
Hello MUDPIES: What a fun video. Some serious digging going on there Mud Badger & Andy!!! You found the seam, now just follow it. The Whitbread beer is a true Belter. The toilet pull was a surprise. Found one in the Midlands that had a nice transfer on it. Didn't think much of it, so I gave it to another digger. Kinda regret doing that, but he was well chuffed. Didn't really know what I had. Great emerald green flatback poison. Clean up on aisle 3, that was hilarious. Thanks for the kind words regarding the fairy lights. Sounds like the the next adventure will be out in the mud. Best of luck Hopefully you come back with a mega haul. 😀🚴♂🥠🍾
Oi oi Bob! Well it's only fair we really do love those Christmas lights. It's so difficult to tear ourselves away from the dump! We'd love to find a transfer printed toilet pull, just cool that you can put it straight back to use. Hope all is well with you, take care 😀❤️x
Some top finds i like the xmas light always a nice find..
Hello Vic, yup we have everything crossed for finding another complete one. Take care 😀 x
Cleveland Ohio Mudpie Bureau chief Charles Perez, reporting for duty.
That Whitnread is magnificent.
Oh,how I would love to get my grubby hands on that cut down!
Sadly,I am currently on a spending restriction, because I will be in London in exactly 1 month, need to be conservative with the shopping!
Wish Chuck the duck good luck in the muck!!!😉
I will be mudlarking in London in. 3 weeks time!!
The tide tables for Greenwich leave a bit to be desired, sadly.
But I shall persevere!!
Hi Andy and Josie! Fantastic finds! My favorite is the poison bottle but the Ginger beer with "Brooke " on the top is amazing! My wife's name is Brooke. How cool! Josie, I'm interested in your tattoos on your arms.
Thank you ! So many good finds but most of all just great fun to be in the moment and banter 😀. Thank you, all of my tattoos have meanings and are important to me👍💪😀
I’ve never seen so many whole finds! So much fun!
Thanks, it was a great day out 😀x
Awesome haul of finds guys, well done. Take care and thank you for sharing 👏🙏❤️

Hi👋 haven't seen you in a bit ! Still love watching you!!! 👍👍👍👍😁
I’m being honest. I love this, living from Canada. I wish I could do this. I’ve been a follower for years. I live in the big City. I’m a huge fan. Make more videos. I can’t do this here. U guys rule. Cheers from Toronto!
Thank you legend. It's funny, something so simple as digging up old rubbish is so absorbing, healthy and just good fun! Lots more to come, take care 😀 x
Well placed gunshots & explosions, Josie ❣️😎
Thank Y❤️U ❣️❣️❣️
😂😂😂 it was the best explosion we've had in a while x
@@Mudpies For Reals!!!!
I don't know if you guys realize but you can still get 4711 cologne, pretty much with the original label. I remember it being advertising on (b&W) tv way back in the 1970s - when, as a ten year old, I used to pay attention to tv ads. Excellent adventure once again Mudpies !
Hello Peter, yes it's fabulous that you can still get it today. I (Andy) visited my parents recently and discovered that it was my granny's favourite cologne. Thanks for your positive vibes, take care 😀👍
Hello Josie & Dad. What a great haul you got & some real beauties. Maybe in the mud will be easier on your bodies !!! You can just slip around !!! Love always from New Zealand.
Many thanks 😀x
13:20 Gorgeous find!
😍
Does mama mud pie have a craft channel of her own?Would love to see her crafts ! 💕
Hello there, she does a lot of crafting, at the moment she is concentrating on items for our Christmas store in November. Moma Mudpie is quite camera shy but rest assured she is very busy in the background 😀x
i don t remember josie laughing so light heartedly!!!! 🪶
Awhhh, we really did have so much fun this day!
@@Mudpies ♥
Thanx you for another rabbit hole to dig into in your Cutler's bottle (if I misheard forgive me). The articles I found all said it was a bottle of Emerson's Bromo-Seltzer. What is interesting is the murderer's trial led to an important USA legal precedent, the Molineux Rule. Roland Burnham Molineux was not only charged with the murder of Katherine Adams by poisoning, but was also suspected of the murder of another man which he was never charged with. But in his trial for the murder of Adams it was suggested he had a propensity for murder and it was suggested he was guilty of a prior murder. There are many internet sources for the whole story which is very interesting.
The Molineux Rule (USA) states:"a criminal case should be tried on the facts and not on the basis of a defendant's propensity to commit the crime charged. It is axiomatic that propensity evidence invites a jury to misfocus, if not base its verdict, on a defendant's prior crimes rather than on the evidence (or lack of evidence) relating to the case before it."
That's some awesome research Teresa, really impressive! It's fascinating when an object throws up something socially significant. Take care 😀 x
Great finds, well done. Little blue is my favorite.
A cute choice! x
Great finds, I dig the funky jams at the end.
Thank you 😊 👍x
Wow! wonderful finds! Love the poison and ginger beer and those cut down beers look amazing. I have used 4711 myself but would never have drank it lol. Fab video! 😃💖x
I know can you imagine!😂 Take care x
The cut down beer is really a stunner.
Now that's a nice sized haul!
