What an amazing bottle harvest 😲 that baby feeder, my first thought was it was a wee wee bottle 😂😂😂. I'm so rubbish at this 🤦♀️😂. We just want to say that we absolutely love your videos. We made mud pattens to use when we came over to the Medway in the summer, but we couldn't pluck up the courage to use them. 🤦♀️🤷♀️. You guys make it look so easy. Jacs xx
Hello there Jacs. I think you should pick a nice flat area close to the beach and give them a go! Maybe take a ski pole or stick with you for support. I will say that they can be quite treacherous going up and down slopes 😂😂. Take care and have a great next adventure 😀x
Wow! That the estuary that keeps on giving up the treasures, for sure. What a bitter-sweet find on the baby bottle, Josie. I have a feeling many of them were destroyed before being discarded, due to the very sad stories associated with them, because very few are found. You both certainly found some stunning candidates for The Mudpie Museum. Congrats to you both on the launch of your new Christmas Shop!

I so happy for you and your Dad!! Those are some top shelf finds there!! Thanks for the time it takes to prepare for, go on the treasure hunting trips, cleaning up the finds, researching the finds, putting them on your website. I imagine it can be extremely frustrating and demanding.

I worked the mudflat collecting shellfish for many years. I have a lot of items from yesteryear. The oldest being a very small pipe. I took it to our museum, it is one of the first pipes ever made, hence its tiny pot as tobacco was very expensive when it first came to our country. Bottles, ink pots, seaman’s shoe buckle’s, clay pots, fossils. Being a Navel city, Portsmouth. Many objects. I am to old to traipse those flats now but I loved being out on them. Watching you both brings back fond memories! 👍👍👍💜💜
Despite their horrible history, the murder bottle is a clear favorite. As a morbid history nerd that I am, I new exactly what it was the second you picked it up. An absolute dream find. Love a nice ridge marmalade/jam jars.
It is fascinating, although seeing the old photos of children drinking from them is quite chilling. Take care and thanks for your support 😀👍

Loved all the great squelchy finds today. Even a rainbow to lead to the treasure! The stoneware and pipes are always my favourite. The history of the baby bottle is so sad. Oi..oi from Oz! ❤️😊

Absolutely beautiful shots of the sunrise, thank you so much for getting to the mud that early in the morning. Your haul of finds were just reward; that baby feeding bottle design was a welcome change from the usual bottle shapes - same class as the mallets and onions! Earthenware jars were as good as they get, that big biscuit colored one of yours Josey was a stunner.
Such a beautiful sunrise and rainbow at the beginning set the tone for great finds. You found some wonderful bottles!

OMG for Andy’s use of triumvirate. I love it! This was another fun adventure. So much amazing juiciness! I have so say, my favorite part was the sunrise. I’m really a night person, but I really do love a good sunrise.
Surprisingly, I really like that slick blue apothecary bottle. And that Italian mineral water(?) bottle is stunning also.

Hello Tom, can't beat the home made mud pattens for cost. The also take up less space in the bags. Much easier to go up and down slopes though in the mudders. Take care 😀👍

Your new shoes brought you good luck today Josie. OMG on the story of your baby bottle. I saw another channel find a bottle of stuff they also called a Baby Killer. As it had morphine as an ingredient. History is a fascinating thing & we can learn so much from forgotten items. Ty for taking us along on that Killer Sunrise adventure

Do you think binoculars would help you scope out a larger area. Andy, you scope out the botts and Josie you run around vacuuming them bad boys up. Or not! That murder bottle is really interesting - it was called 'The Alexandra' after Queen Alexandra'
the wife of King Edward VII - as the mother of 6 children, she was seen as an ideal role model for the young mothers of England. I suppose if these deadly bottles were still made today, they would be called 'The Camilla'!!

My Favorites that you found are the Master ink stoneware, ginger beer bottle, stoneware marmalade containers and the little stoneware pot that has the writing on it. Awesome finds.

OI Oi MudPies What a stunning sunrise and a beautiful rainbow to top it off. Some stellar finds Knew the history of the nursing bottles, but had never heard them referred to as a "Murder Bottle". The rubber hose was the perfect medium for harmful bacteria to hide in and thrive. Had seen Si wear the Josie boots, but no feedback on how well they worked. Will you ever go back to the pads? After all the belters you found, I would say probably not. I think they may have brought you a bit of Good Luck, Josie. Squelch On MudPies!!!! 😃😸👍
