READ: For the record, I was the one who said "Finally!", because holding the camera to record it was NO FUN AT ALL and rather tiring. Besides, it was my second viewing anyway (although it was still kick ass).

Watching with fan reactions is much, much better. Powerful goosebumps...
To everyone saying that Rinoa isn't that powerful, I mean she's not in FF 8 main game but I'm guessing Monty wanted her to use Ultmecia's powers since that's what most of the FF 8 theories pointed to about Rinoa and Ultmecia.
Rinoa: (smiles) Squall, can I borrow your gunblade?
Squall: Uhh, why?
Rinoa: Just gonna meet some uhh... friends from a fighting game. Please? (points index finger up)
Squall: (sighs) Whatever, just don't rust it ok?
DUDE! THAT WAS AWESOME!!! I can't believe he even included Kairi! COOL!

Animating Rinoa's wings must have been a PAIN to do...props to Monty Oum for doing such a good job!

I saw this at my first trip to anime expo and I went absolutely balistic. It is so freakin awesome not to mention the effort that went into these pieces is amazing. Ive become a total DEAD FANTASY junkie ^^
Thanks for this video - I was looking for one with an audience reaction, to be reminded how many people Monty's work touched. Can't believe he passed away yesterday, what a loss to the world. RIP, Monty.

Kairi kicks ass!! OMG, I loved the way people screamed at 8:01. It was PERFECT!
The Valor Form killed it, as well as her entrance. Kairi's amazing here.

AMAZING.
I think that's because most people opted for her Angelo Limit Break, rather than her Angel Wing. I never really found a use for magic (bar a specific selection) but when you use Angel Wing Rinoa's magic is potent and actually makes them useful. Of course, once you use Angel Wing you no longer control what she casts and it lasts till the end of the battle so that's probably the reason it was dismissed. She was powerful in that form, though.
This was the most amazing thing i´ve ever seen in my life! Yuna, Rikku, Tifa, Rinoa, Kairi.. *heart stops*

"What, you think there's some sort actual company that makes money creating stories and battles using other companies' characters?" they said. "Go to law school. You'll thank yourself later and everyone will love and trust you," they said.

I remember watching this video last year at Anime Boston. It was so much more fun watching it with about 2000 other people than by yourself. 3and 4 is about to come out this year, can't wait to see it!

In case anyone cares, the magic Tifa was using includes Stop. Haste, Demi, Fire, Ice, pretty sure Wall was in there too, Lightning a couple of times...she also uses Beat Rush, Meteor Drive and Final Heaven that I saw...

the most epic 10 minutes of gut renching,puke endusing,mind spliting action that I have nothing but shook and awe of what I have just witnessed...5/5,can't wait for part 3 from Monty Oum.
So who noticed all the salutes Monty did? Evolution Daigo full parry, Dante's Rainstorm, Lili's Tekken throw, and a whole slew of others. I was standing right next to him during the airing, and kept turning to him going "dude... wtf."
