    She never gives her surname. She just says "main mahum hun," and then she mentions her husband's full name. Point is, that was another mark of a strong and independent woman, other than her personality. 😎

    Alif's episode was amazing and not at all slow. The back story was so deep and beautiful. Alif's pace is actually natural it lets you feel the characters' thought process. This is the best play on television for a long long time. Do not compare it with MPTH.

    • @saadia3588
      @saadia3588 Před 4 lety +2

      Zainab Zaman agree that unfortunately due to channel ratings it’s being unnecessarily compared to MPTH when Alif is in a class by itself. Similar to EW - different theme of 4 friends. Wish that Alif was being shown during weekdays so people could soak in the dialogues and the acting

    • @zainabzaman55
      @zainabzaman55 Před 4 lety +1

      Exactly. Alif is like an ocean.. its meant to be this way to inculcate the message. Its not abrupt. Its going at a smooth pace but not deviating and random ( which you can say about ehde wafa)

      True that actually people are unable to understand such a deep content MPTH is just a casual normal story not as strong and astonishing as alif no way near to it actually our people are used to see that big bang dramatize story and scenes sadly they are giving reviews without understanding it, Alif needs a broad mind to be understood

    Alif is a project that needs different temperament to enjoy! It's a soulful story and you can't enjoy it if you can't dive deep into your soul! I agree with Hasan it can only be enjoyed by ppl who question their spirituality and existence.
    It's not a slow story it's a CALM story where you give viewers time to reflect on what they just heard or saw.

    ...... Husn-e-Jahan ko Taha se pehle aik Whirling Dervish se pyar hua tha, and that is exactly what we call Turning Point. (Ye aik instant b ho skta hai) This was gonna lead her to the Love of her Creator! Aur us ka ghoomtay hue gir jana doesn't seem strange to me at all. This is ''ishq k rang mein rang jana''. :)

    Alif is a drama you cant judge it is really different to being called a drama for trp,views or entertainent! Its for sensible people n this drama is reaching masses I myself watch MPTH on sat but cant deny the fact that alif is something beyond exceptional
    See it to seek something which is reality not for entertainent

    How did you even find this episode of alif slow?? This was the best episode of alif. The drama is not only about momin and momina, taha and husn e jahan are also an integral part of the story. This episode was not at all slow. They showed the back story of taha and husn e jahan in an interesting pace.

    Miss Hania is not dum she’s actually honestly a very sincere, dedicated and innocent person who’s on one hand looking out for his students wellbeing and on the other hand trying to take her dads place in Danish’s life by helping and supporting him and also she’s convinced that this gesture of hers would make her dad happy if he was alive so she’s trying to accommodate that emptiness of ‘Mateen sahab’in her and Danish’s life..
    She means what she’s is saying she really hasn’t got any feelings for him, specially when she says ‘jin say humdardi hoti hay un say pyaar nahi hota.. so calling her dum is a very wrong and baseless comment to make.
    In fact she is portraying a picture of a true person which sadly we lack in society these days as everyone has become so selfish and self centred these days that’s why to see Hanias true sincere emotions/character will be hard for everyone to understand!

      Sab Ali I agreed with the momin part being slow but we learnt about husne jahan and her connection to her spiritual side through taha. So it wasn’t just that she fell in love with Taha and left everything for him . There is more to it and we got to see it in this episode so it was a good episode.

    In a puratanic society like yours, I feel both the dramas MPTH and IZN are daring attempts. MPTH is a viewers delight with such stalwarts performing at their lifetime best! Kudos to the entire team. IZN too is quite ‘hatkey’. The scenes in the last episode between Sameer and Gauhar were indeed very well performed and shot. The intensity was so palpable. And the way Gauhar tries to gain Sameer’s confidence by agreeing to his quirkiness reminded me of a film where a wife dresses her gay husband to go out for a date with his partner. It’s the height of pathos out of which a new bond is formed. Of course, in this context it is different, but it worked very well. Truly enjoy your dramas. With lots of love from Bombay.

    I loved the part in Alif where the back story of husn e jahan and Taha is revealed. There is far more to it than meets the eye. Even their names are suggestive. Taha represents someone who has dedicated himself to the spiritual life but he is a young man and husn e jahan represents the beauty of the material world and its temptations. At least that is how I have interpreted it. Taha will at some point leave husn e jahan but how and why we have to see . As for the way the romance has been handled it is quite old world and rather sweet and of course, the connection has a huge spiritual element where she is concerned.

    In MPTH, Don’t you guys think that it’s odd and maybe even wrong for a teacher and student (who is so young) to be having such a relationship where you are speaking on the phone at night?? Is this realistic at all? I feel like it’s definitely in violation of some type of teacher-student relationship rules and an abuse of power or authority on Ms. Hania’s end. She should probably be establishing boundaries, knowing how young and innocent Roomi is.

    For Alif, kubra looks amazingly gorgeous, let's make it clear that when you read the novel, it doesn't AT ALL feels like things happened all of a sudden when husn e jahan and taha fall in love, its very progressive and connected. Maybe the execution made u guys feel it unrealistic. Husne jahan is attracted to taha because of his connection with Allah.
    Taha didn't watch her dance intentionally. He watched it by chance and yes he makes her portrait as the 1st time ever in his life which ultimately brings Abul Aala in rage.. which will be in upcoming episodes.
    She discusses with makeup artist because he's the only person she shares her feelings with.
    Let's just wait for everything fall into its place and unravel the curiosities.

    Saweera Nadeem is amazing actress loved seeing her on screen... loved Ayza expressions they were fabulous. She done brilliant job. Honestly I felt in this drama female actresses took lead in acting skills loved their acting skills. Hania is complete disappointment . Ayza gonna commit suicide in the end as this is what writer’s writing patterns are unfortunately.
    I don’t agree that humayun should not take Ayza back as I wonder why not? Not including religion( regarding divorce issue as I understand once divorce is done so it’s done but general thought if someone is not divorced yet) in it at the moment just questioning that why we have this mind set that if man does bewafai n woman take him back for the sake of forgiveness or Allah but why not man should take such women back ??? Why man can’t do things for the sake of forgiveness or Allah. It is my personal point of view that we should treat human beings as humans not genders. Our prospective must change for the betterment of society. It’s time men should be taught how to forgive women for doing wrong things the same way women are taught. After all we all are human beings and we all can make mistakes.

    Loved MPTH as usual .
    Few things I didn’t understand in MPTH . How does danish know Mahwish is getting married? It didn’t made any sense.
    Hania & rumi could have a great student teacher relation ship but all this marriage talk between a teacher n student is really weird.
    Aiza khan is looking gorgeous & made her character really believable , She’s a fine actor .
    I loved sawera Nadeem’s entry too .
    Alif is completely monotonous. It was a brilliant concept , could have been a master piece with such great actors but poor direction.i might stop watching it soon as I need to force my self to give it another chance every week due to the concept of the drama.

    Great job Zahra and Amna! Both of you did well on Friday’s review too. IZNwas great this week but the jumpy ness due to bad editing was annoying! MPTH took the top spot this week- it’s good to have Savera back after a long time. Alif was slow but it didn’t bother me because I’ve heard the audiobook and the audiobook was slower so the epi was fine for me. Agree that nothing happened in EW - it was a useless sort of an episode
