Hassan if you would have noted the scene where Momina is on the set of a soap where the Lead Actress comes so late, also forgets her lines and says Momina mere scenes kha jaati hai.....then the director says ke Momina achhi actress hai magar woh brand nahi hai, yahan brand chalta....isiliye Momina ko shohrat chahiye, kyunki achhi acting ke bawajood usko role nahi milta kyunki woh mashhoor nahi hai! This is the answer ke why she says mujhe paise aur shohrat ki zaroorat hai!

After connecting the dots here is my theory: (keeping in mind what you said about there being fireworks in episode 12
Shahwaar will tell danish that mehwish slept with him. Danish will rage and will divorce mehvish. In one of the initial episodes danish said “Jis cheez ko kisi ghair Ka Haat choodhay wo mujhe achi ni laghti” danish will go into severe depression(mateen and hira mani will help him recover) On the other hand mehvish and shahwar will get married. (There is a scene in the ost where mehvish is picking a wedding dress at shahwaar’s house.) Then shahwaar’s second wife will come into the picture. Which will be the start mehvish’s downfall.
This is just my theory.

Tum mery pass ho has been really good so far! The storyline, pace of the story, and all the characters are great. Danish obviously knows whats going on between his wife and her boss but he loves her way too much to accept it even to himself and is in complete denial. He doesnt wanna lose her at any cost and willing to forgive her unconditionally. Poor danish
1)Momina said she wants shohrat ( which I felt was lil odd too) but to there defense in the beginning episodes her mother said "agar yeh role Milega to shohrat milegi and us se phir aur bhi ziyada roles milenge"
2) in the novel it is mentioned that that the dada learned Urdu to communicate with his grandson since the laters mother tongue was Urdu.
When you guys started the show Amina was great and Hassan would just contribute a little but now I must say Hassan is on fire every time!!! And very relatable too...... you two make a great show keep it up!!!
I agree with Hassan about IZN - Samir's dressing up and turning Samira has no impact whatsoever on the story. He could just as well have been an obsessive lover turned killer and it would basically be the same story. Also, Samir not doing anything about Gauher being insulted by his step mom when he's definitely obsessed/in love with her (its not like he's at the googly eyes stage), makes zero sense.
My two cents about Mere Paas Tum Ho - I really really hope there's more to it than bad cheating spouse leaves partner then regrets it and wants to come back but cant because said partner is happy with someone more deserving. Its been done a hundred times with slight variation (for e.g. Shehr e zaat's Salman returning to Falak, or in Ghar Titli ka Par: Anji leaves her husband for someone more successful but kinda regrets it when things go wrong- more for selfish reasons than self realization, but the end results the same.) I truly hope MPTH is more than that.

Well, I think shakira is replaced by gohar now in sameer's mind is because he thinks that she too(like him and shakira) is being abused by his step mother. And no, madam jee has no one's interest at her heart.(And saying that she is trying to protect gohar is like saying Modi is trying to protect Kashmiri people 😑).And I've hunch that the butler's sister is shakira.

Glad Hassan that you pointed out k Alif is missing out the much needed conversation that it deserves. I couldn't agree more. Also, I want to give you guys a crazy insight (not actually a spoiler) that the drama actually revolves around letters. In the preface of the book the writer mentioned that the story encircles a kid who write letters to Allah. So letters has to do a lot with Alif, which I think, you guys have missed ranting about in the last review!
Also, this episode had a scene when momin was presented a calligraphy of an ayah and when his dada told him the meaning k "Allah momineen k sath hai" to which he responded "or main momin ni hun", for me was the zeatin of the whole epi! Too intricately evocative, great great exhibition of the plot.

Ishq zahe naseeb is moving at it’s own pace, maintaining audience interest. Crux of episode, Gohar has now replaced Sameera in Sameer’s life.
Humayun Saeed is winning hearts and will probably win awards through his acting but the drama now needs to move to the next phase, i.e post divorce phase. What is Mewish waiting for now that she has decided to leave Danish.
Ehd e wafa is not a great drama till now. Only Shahzain stands out. It seems that the drama will revolve around saad, his army training and his love interest. Others will be just side heroes with rani providing some filmy comic scenes. Ahmad Ali Akbar is such a good actor but seems to be wasted in this drama.
urwa n marwa should quit acting...there acting margin is pretty limited...they are lovely ladies but acting requires more than good looks and fake tears !

Today again very nice review. I agree with Hassan that Geo should change the day of Alif this drama is too good to miss. No words for Sajal. I wish I could hug her and tell what a great actress she is. Her acting is more natural than Sonia Hussain
So a question for you Hassan and Amna. Why is there such an issue with Osman Khalid Butt looking the same in all his dramas when Sajal Ali also looks exactly the same in all her dramas (except for Aangan)? The same long perfect hair, same makeup.

And a lot of our other female actors. All that changes is wardrobe. Hair and makeup is usually the same. Aap ka point valid hai magar that's not what I raised in my original post.
That last scene between momina and jahangir was so cute you guys didn't talk about it, first time we got to see momina having a light hearted moment with her family, I loved that scene. Thoda detail me baat kare alif k upar b plz its a request.
Meray paas tum ho is a masterpiece. It's so well presented that I sometimes have tears in my eyes(which generally I don't specially seeing dramas) and a kind of pain in my heart when I see Danish's situation.
Must say the actors are a class above.
I think in "mere pas tum ho" shewar sahab said that 'tume mujhpe bharosa hai' and Aiza's character said 'abhi bhi ye baat puchni reh gaie hai' so I really feel that pink nighty's Mistry is solved by this very clearly

You missed the scene where his servant is hung with the tree and when the chaudry asks him k agr hmara bnda apky paas aata tou ap kia krty .... and he said k hum usay aram sy bithaty aur apko btaty k apka bnda hmary paas hai ,,, which doesn't show that he is ruthless. He has some humanity in him. And than again when he is going home after meeting shehryar's father with teary eyes, we see the soft side of him
My take on it is that he is not a cold hearted ruthless person at all. He just get carried away with his feudal mahol... and eventually he will realize k uska decision of getting married to dua is wrong and he will back out himself and wont even go to dua's house for rishta

About Momina seeking fame and money, I think if she would have just said money then it would have been a bit materialistic and undignified. Fame on the other hand is a dignified goal.

Tou uss k zhn mien yai baat baith gye hai k Shohrat hai tou paisa bhe aye ga. In short she is soap actress. Wo momin ki big movie mien thora appearance dy gi tou tab iss k career ko start milly ga. Duptty mien rah rah kr soap kr k kujh wi ni honra.

Enjoyed your perspective on all 4 dramas. I think butler is not real brother of zahidz mom. It would be so unnatural for zahid not to know that butler is actually his mamo. Butler is pretending to be her brother because MADAM has some kind of hold over his sister / family. And as for Hassan’s theory that MADAM is protecting Gohar, I disagree that she has any soft corner for her. She is only safeguarding her riches hence not letting Zahid getting married and have children.
My question for Zahid is , did he get a good deal on lenses? Buy one get one free type? He is using Pathar ki ankhain ( as Amna would say) in ishq zahee naseb and main na janon . 😂

disagree with you guys, Sadaf's acting was very underwhelming. Few scenes such as the one in the car with Momin after the Kawali night and the recent interaction with Dada seemed as if she hadn't internalised her character properly. Wouldn't been better to see someone as beautiful as her but with better acting skills play the role. Other than that, Alif is a top class drama and should definitely get on Netflix for a bigger viewership.

What I want to see in Mere Pass Tum Ho Is that Adnan Siddiqui losing all his wealth or wealth taken away by her wife and he had to leave Mehwish and simultaneously Danish becoming rich and powerful and when Mehwish wants to comeback there is no place for her in Roomi and Danish’s life. Keep doing good reviews and be nice with the audience even if they post any negative comment this will increase ur fan following :)

I think when Danish and Mehwish get separated then rumi would go into depression and it would effect his studies badly then Hira's character would come to help him

And Goher will marry Sameer because of the truth what she knows from the maid and Akbar and not because of the loan

Also, I love how Hassan has interesting theories about characters and the plot line that you'd normally not think about. I also thought if Sameer's stepmum was doing all this to protect Gouhar in some way.
Mere Paas Tum Ho is surely on fire. Now that I know who Hira Mani is playing, I am interested in the actress who'd be playing Shahwar's wife. It would be an interesting dynamic, but watching Adnan Siddiqui's interviews on your channel has changed my perspective on the possible storyline and how it'd unfold. He said that he was not playing the antagonist, and that it was Ayeza's character that was the villain. I'm not too sure if Shahwar is that meesna for this to play out, but in case you go by what Adnan said, I think it could be that Ayeza gets fed up of him too (since she does have a son with Danish), and at some point wants to come back to Danish because she is missing that attention. Since Danish is so in love with her right now, it's hard to imagine that if this does happen, he wouldn't let her come back. So it's all very interesting, as the story could go in a hundred different dimensions from here.

I feel like now that Goher is finally gonna marry Sameer and when she shifts in his home we would see more of Sameer's story and his split personality. And the mystery is finally gonna unfold. I wish the marriage had happened sooner though because I think it's gonna take another 2-3 episodes for the marriage scene from the OST.

No they showed him throwing her from the roof. It was his split personality.
I think his mama is the mastermind of the murder.. she fuels his split personality and tries hard to manipulate him

I agree with Hassan about IZN. It's the 16th or 17th episode and nothing about his split personality is shown except those scenes where zahid ahmed appears in makeup. Past two weeks I didn't even watch the episodes, just watched your reviews about it. When you guys get to interview Zahid please ask him about what's next in store and how will they explain all of this. Exactly like how you guys interviewed Humayun and Adnan about MPTH.

Momina asked for Money and fame is connection of story she is looking for both only for Jahangir because he is obsessed with acting but because of his health issues he couldn’t continued his career as actor and momina is a character she always thinks for others and Jahangir is hers axis of life ,she needs money for his treatment and fame to make him proud and it will come latter when she will win Oscar at that time she will mention this as per novel.
