I believe every character in Alif are close to their stories and struggles in their real life. Sajjal is so close to Momina..like Sajjal's real mother passed away before seeing her daughter's thriving career; Jahanghir also died without wintessing Momina's success. Maybe Sajjal also feels a part of herself is with Momina. Alas, we all have to lose something to gain something.

Maham should continue to belittle Shehwar and make him feel more miserable with his life. Hania should continue to teach her kids and stop seeing Danish. She is not supposed to marry him. Her philosopher sister should also stop to coax her for marriage. That should be the end of this entire 'Philosophy'!

The philosophical dialogues in MPTH have become so irritating now, maybe because there is no plot propagation at all. It irks me to see a 6 year old child saying things that no 6 year old child in his right mind would say. Whereas Alif is the perfect example of proper execution of philosophy. The conversation between young Momin and his father is very deep if you analyse it, but if you look closely everything that the child says is according to his age. I think MPTH has had it’s thunder, and it’s due recognition, but I hope that Alif comes in the limelight after MPTH ends.

Absolutely loved this review. You guys are super cute MA ! Did someone notice Mehwish’s hair color changed so quickly when she entered her old apartment ? And I feel that they shouldn’t have dragged shirk and Allah into this so many times. It’s a constant comparison which is not right. Hassan you’re absolutely right that if Mahum didn’t arrive, Mehwish wouldn’t have even cared. He may forgive her but he should not take her back and marrying Hania would be nice for him but if he’s still in love with Mehwish he can also choose to stay single forever. On the other hand I absolutely loved the scenes between Saad and Dua especially where he says “no” a couple of times when he’s helping her. Taha's mistake was that he nouzbillah prioritized Husn e Jehan over Allah SWT.
He left calligraphy to paint her. In this episode you even hear him saying that while Husn e jehan left the "duniya" for him, he left Allah.
In Islam, you are supposed to love Allah the most. Everyone else comes later.
Dada loved Taha but his first priority was always Allah and he even said that he loves Allah the most.
If only Taha had not chosen Husn e jehan over Allah SWT, none of this would have happened.
It's not due to guilt that his calligraphy isn't the same anymore. "Mere haath Allah Ne Baande Hain". That's what he says. Allah ne usky kaam mein Jo khubsurati thi jo noor tha woh nikaal Lia hai.

No, Mehwish should not be forgiven, had she returned before Maham kicked her out, or Shahwar literally refused to acknowledge her, then it was still ok, but her sudden pining for Danish and the drama of repentance is pathetic and unjustified. Danish should marry Hania, and be cordial with Mehwish for the sake of Rumi. Mikal Zulfiqar can make a last minute entry as a mega millionaire tycoon, and Mehwish can start pursuing him as she only is after money and power, forgetting all about Danish once more.

In the current drama scene it doesn’t get more refreshing than this- practical real life shows of affection and decency which don’t involve elaborate admissions of love or cheesy romantic lines. Means here k usne husne jaha ko Allah se bhi upar rkh dia, sbse upar darja ded ai islie uske hatho se Allah ne wo kamal chin lia Jo uski Calligraphy ko sbse unique bnati thi.

Bewafai men maafi hojayay toe mard khuda na hojayay clearly meant that when you hurt a man the way Mahwish did, that can only be forgiven by someone so merciful whose only Allah and no ones as merciful as He is whereas the shirk dialogue was how Quran regards a husband as Mijazi Khuda and when Mahwish cheated on Danish, that meant that she cheated not only on her husband but her mijazi Khuda which was equal to Shirk for Danish because he was left right centre broken by what Mahwish did to her.
That's the explanation and I think both of these diaogues were extremely powerful.

I don’t think mehwish wants danish’s money. She is kicking herself for giving up the “family life” and ended up empty handed. She wants danish’s apology for her own self and to get back her “family life” but not cuz she loves danish. It’s all about her and her demands and her life, it was never about Danish to begin with. Comparing her to Danish, his entire life, wants, needs and everything only revolved around His wife.

Hania teaches in the same school and is a gud friend of Danish; Danish drops and picks Rumi from the flat where Mehwish stays and never meets her; but has completely gone over her. Mehwish is a receptionist at some hospital or office.... that's it. Shehwaar faces humiliation and is a cleric who has been abandoned by his wife, and now lives separately. Regarding MPTH, I agree with Hassan here.the two dialogues have contradiction in relation to shirk and behaving godly.
I agree with Amna when she explained the process of realisation through regrets as I personally have experienced in the past that how destiny has its own ways to teach us how to regret! So assuming that mehwish is not regretting sounds more like a superficial guess.
It is ok for Danish not to forgive mehwish and use his human right to be revengeful in this matter.but I truly believe that Danish should forgive Mehwish.
