Sajal is next level in alif and Ahad is also next level in ehdewafa, every time you guys did comment on ssg looks and their ages but you never point out how beautiful they acted I mean when saad father tell him about the moral values without scolding him and than saad cries, this scene was so beautiful and ahad did a fantastic job on that moment so next time please say something new apart Describing their looks and ages, overall nice review

I laughed so hard when hassan said "laat par jati hai na sotay huay" 😂😂
Secondly, i absolutely agree that lagta hai kay qalb e momin ka role bana hi hamza kay lye tha. Hamza fits in that role so well. Sajal is THE BEST actress that Pakistan has. In short, the first episode of Alif was very strong and lived upto its hype and expectations.
Also, missed Hassan and his jokes in the previous episode. So glad to see him back.

Good to see Hassan back. I said exactly the same thing to my husband. 😂 Where can I find such peers or babas who know everything by just looking at a person?🥴
Alif definitely looks good. Cinematography, performances are top notch. 👍. Sajjal will steal the show as in the first episode. Alif and Ishq zahe naseeb are two strong dramas to look forward to.
Mere paas tum hu is going slow. I also think that Shewar is a fraud and the affair is full on and not platonic.
Please review, MEIN NA JANOO, with Affan Waheed, Zahid Ahmad and Sanam Jang instead of Bewafa.
I have always questioned why FIRST COUSIN marriages or affairs are shown in every other drama. In reality it is a total no no, as far as the new generation is concerned and they pretty much despise the idea. First cousin relationship is more like a brotherly, sisterly thing now a days and the youngsters are more aware of the medical consequences than we were, but drama writers seem to be suffering from a generation gap.

  • @personal_playlist9466
    @personal_playlist9466 Před 4 lety +13

Oh my god I can't believe you addressed my question on cousin marriages! THANK YOU.
Alif is going to be a masterpiece hopefully. The dialogues were brilliant. I really felt the struggle and frustration of Sajal. Her tiff with God, because she is destitute reminded me of Kashaf- both are strong characters and I feel every girl today relates to them on some level. It is a pity we don't get to see Hamza very often- he has a definitive screen presence and his voice ❤️
In Ishq Zehnaseeb, I'm sorry for nitpicking but Dunya seems so anglicised. Her fake accent, fake eyelashes, fake lens- is there anything real about her? I feel she doesn't belong to that universe where everybody is so genuine. The only reason I tune in to that drama is because of Yumna Zaidi. Her character is so intriguing and I'll keep watching all the episodes just to see her perform. It is something that has never been attempted on Pakistani television and must I say world over also it is not a story that happens every day. So far, they've done this with utmost grace and dignity, while keeping the element of mystery alive.

It's high time that our actors learn to pick on nuances of the character and subtley and do away with overdoing or exaggerations, too many emotions or animated gestures. That being said we have got fine actors and other actors, we all know who they are, can learn a thing or two from them. Just a small suggestion, please kindly include timestamps. At times audience might not be interested in hearing about all the dramas and only specific ones. It would be helpful so we don't miss out on the points.

I liked Ehd e Wafa, as just a fun drama. But I'm not a fan of the whole bhabhi scene, mainly bcz of the way Alizey is doing that role.
She's over-acting even the littlest of expressions and lines. Not natural at all, which is a big turn off for me.
Also, one thing is that the characters seem like they're "trying too hard" to be funny.

Another trivia fact for Alif: how does the kid Momin (Pehlaaj) born, brought up in Turkey write such perfect Urdu. He’s also shown going to a traditional Turkish school. Being an overseas parent it’s a huge achievement just to get your kids to SPEAK in Urdu, let alone read and write! 😝

Mahnoor Qureshi so freaking true! I got so much flak for calling out ISPR on social media too. I just don’t get why are they now in the business of producing dramas along with the plethora of non military fields they already have their hands in 🙄.

ziajami Not only that, I was even harassed by one, saying, “apna no. de tuje bataun, fouj ke kilaf bolti hae”. 🤦‍♀️Can you imagine, this for a simple, spontaneous comment under the promo of a drama. Just for asking, why is it an ISPR production, is it their job? They are not prepared to listen to any reasoning. Everything is being done very blatantly now. For alpha, bravo, Charlie, army provided logistics but remained in the background. It was a Shoaib mansoor production, not an ISPR production. Similar is the case with other things, from political and judicial manipulation to handling economic affairs, all being done in a conspicuous, crass manner understood and resented by even the common man on the streets. But silencing and gagging through harassment and fascism seem to be their answer for all who do not conform to their role.

I had bought the novel a few months back but hadn't started reading it. As soon as the drama started I read it. It's beautiful. Umera Ahmed is my favorite writer.

agree that sunahri is annoying and momin is a strong character but the difference is not because of the actors but rather the writers who created these characters

Amna- really love your insight and frankness. I really enjoy watching you...
Hassan- you are a true gentleman, it’s very enlightening how you let the lady speak and don’t cut her off and also you don’t argue to prove your point...

lovely review! Glad to hear your daughter is doing well Hassan. Good to see you back and well done to Zehra on doing a good job in your absence. Loved the lighter moments in this review including the reference to zahid ahmed's nose contouring, the fear of criticising ehd e wafa due to the ISPR as well as the interesting discussion regarding the extent of the "affair" between mehwish and shahwar in mere paas tum ho. Overall all 4 reviews were interesting and entertaining to watch!

The TRP system is flawed...you are on the right lines of how it's calculated but in terms of 20 crore population approx. i'd expect it to be a sizeable sample size of atleast about 25% of the population as it's quite a large scale. You can see how social media (youtube) has view counts on each episode which can be very different to TRPs.

And now they've introduced GRPs (gross rating point as opposed to target rating point) instead when the TRP isn't high enough e.g. this week ARY compared with Geo on 5th October...you can tell the hype of something through word of mouth or fame online ..you don't need to rely solely on data measuring through TV monitors to prove a point.

I liked Ehd e wafa ,sub characters best hain except Alizey character dua us ke sences bilkul impressive nahi cos us ki acting ki wajah se .
