So, there's a story about a woman putting fish or shrimp in her ex-husband curtain poles after realizing he cheated. She didn't get to keep the house and as a revenge prank, she did that. The ex hubby and mistress couldn't find where the smell was coming from, thought it was the house itself, ex hubby sold ex wifey the house back for half of what he wanted and took everything, including the curtain poles that held the smelly rotting fish

I answered the door nursing my son. It was the mormons. Didnt deter them one bit. Had a full on convo like nothing was happening. I was slightly impressed by how undeterred they were. Maybe they had lots of siblings and or were nursed themselves. Good for them.
Yup! We tend to have big families! Usually, the women put thin blankets and stuff over them and the baby if they have to breastfeed in public! But we're not really stunned or shocked by things like that, lol.

I have a similar experience! I was wearing a dress and it had got caught on my underwear without me realizing it. Like Rachel in that scene in Friends where she was a bridesmaid in her ex’s wedding. Anyway, I answered the door and it was two Mormon men. They were very nice and we talked for a bit. When I went back inside, I realized the situation with my dress and that these Mormons had been able to see my underwear the whole time. I was absolutely mortified.
I did some digging and the girl who was cleaning her boss’ closet got the shoes! She ended up calling the house manager or something and she knew what to do. She just took some boards out and was able to get the shoes back. Turns out she thought they were a different pair of shoes and the ones that fell only cost $1,500 (which is still a lot 😅)
Whether or not the dancing competitor in the black dress was good or not, she automatically blew her chances of winning just from that spiteful push alone. The judges saw that and were like "Nah betch!"

I've been approached twice by men in cars asking me to get in, start a relationship, marry and meet the "in-laws ". This was in broad daylight just in a normal neighbourhood where I lived next to the grocerie store or on my to work. It always reminds me of the loverboy stories we used to get ward of as a kid and makes me feel so unsafe.

People should not buy from Temu, Shein, or for that matter any other Chinese company.
Their products are cheap garbage destined for an early trip to a landfill, they are often made in inhumane conditions, they do shady things with your data, and buying from them supports the Chinese economy while its government is actively engaged in a genocide against the Uighur people there.

Thank you Charlotte, for not promoting Temu 🙏 Not only has there been many issues arising with people having their cc info stolen but Temu has come under fire for its unethical practices which include forced labour. It’s an awful company and it’s nice to hear that a Creator is aware and doing their research before promoting a brand.
I learned a while ago that if someone randomly pulls over to ask you if you need a ride, especially if they pull over very aggressively, they either have very bad intentions or they're hoping you're a sex worker. Exceedingly creepy considering the first time it happened to me was when I was 14.
Oh man!! It happened to me twice, which is twice too much! First when I was 12 and was waiting for the light to turn so I could cross the street, standing next to my mother. The second one was at 23, waiting for my bus to go to work, in the early morning, next to a “high class” neighborhood , no make up, baggy clothes, and this man had the audacity to call me a bitch for not wanting to ride with him.
I also had someone offer me a ride when I was in middle school waiting for my mom to pick me up by a playground. Didn't know the man and he thankfully didn't put up a fight when I said no, but I was creeped out. Then the man drove around the corner and just sat there watching the playground. I think I got lucky that day.
Ugh it’s so unsettling. No one should ever feel comfortable doing this. There are far too many creeps that are far too brazen about their creepiness.
My neighbours (who moved in when I was very little and are honestly very trustworthy, they and my parents are quitr close) once pulled over beside me and offered to drive me back home (which was around the corner, literally less 100m away). I politely declined because I just had a weird vibe from the offer…. Even if you know the person I’d still say be careful.
I forever regret not calling the cops on someone who offered me a ride. I thought I was being judgmental for being scared, but better to be safe. I was walking like 2 blocks to class and they apparently were trying to be nice to help me get there faster. It was not even cold or anything, I was totally fine walking and did every day. I hope he really was just trying to hit on college girls and not kidnap them.
When Temu started getting advertised i knew from the start there was something off about it, having really low prices on stuff or free stuff was a big red flag.
Similar to "Good Rx" the discount card for medical prescriptions, I always wondered and knew the money had to come from somewhere. We asked a pharmacist who we knew wouldn't accept Good Rx cards and he said that you fill out the info and basically, they sell your information to make money.
Honestly good to know for it for me. I’ve only ever used gift cards that I left cents left on them for the app since I also thought it was sus, good to know the suspicion was justified for it visa gift cards when you’re unsure is definitely the way to go
Me too!! I will only use a bought Visa card to buy online purchases. This way if they use it they won't have any information on it or money left. I buy one for maybe 100.00 dollars. Unless of course it's a bigger purchase. 😉✌
I’ve ordered a bunch of times from Temu! It’s often the same stuff on Amazon or even sold by major brands. But, because I’m lazy I just used PayPal. Hopefully nothing bad happens!

I've ordered from Temu 3 times and I was surprised that most items I received were actually good and there were no mistakes on the order. The items that weren't good turned out to be absolute junk, but it was only 2 out of about 40 items, they gave me an immediate refund, and I didn't have to send it back.
I have a 20 acre ranch off-grid in the mountains where 100% of my electricity is produced by solar/wind/batteries so I only use LED lights and solar powered security lights outside to conserve power. I needed a lot of extra security lights to discourage mountain lions from attacking my goats at night, and the ones I bought from Temu are better than what I bought at hardware stores and a lot cheaper. Same with the LED lights I got from them.
The only time someone has stolen from my bank account was when I cancelled my monthly donation to the Sierra Club. I had to argue with the very rude person on the phone who at first refused to stop payments and even said something snarky about how they have my account info anyway, which was weird.
I hung up and contacted my bank and had them stop the automatic payments immediately. About a week later, someone in Germany stole money from my account and bought cryptocurrency. My bank reimbursed me and sent me a new card with a new account #. When I asked if they knew who hacked my account, they did but didn't want to say who it was. She told me she'd give me a hint; that it was through an entity that I had previously set up a monthly automatic payment with, but recently cancelled. The rude customer service person with Sierra Club is the only one it could have been. I use to like Sierra Club, but they'll never get another dime from me.
The first story brought up my memory My husband (my BF at the time) took me to his coworkers house for a holiday party. Everything went fine but then I started feeling a little queezy and just not feeling good so we decided to leave. The host & hostess was getting our jackets & one of them looked at me & grabbed me & dragged me upstairs to the bathroom where I violently threw up over everything in the bathroom. I was mortified!!! The couple were so sweet, just concerned on how I was doing. Even their kids helped them clean up the mess. They all were so nice about it. I ended up sick for the next week with a horrible cold/flu. It got joked about afterwards, but I can never forget how embarrassing it was🤣
On the dance push... it could very well have been the push that sealed her fate and caused her to lose. Which is delicious.

RE the prawns in the curtain rods, that's based on an old (probably true) story where a woman found out her husband was cheating and left him but, before she went, she put tons of shrimp shells in the curtain rods. He moved his mistress in almost immediately... then the stench started. She found out through mutual friends that they had the carpets and furniture cleaned, had pro cleaners steam clean, etc. and nothing worked. Finally, they moved out. And took the curtain rods with them.
I remember charlotte reacting and reading probably the same story you might be referencing, could be where the woman in the prawn video got her inspo from lol
Also, when they tried to sell the house, it wouldn't sell, so the ex-wife bought the house back at a very reduced price.
In the version I read (roughly 25 years ago, possibly the original), the scorned wife sewed the shrimp inside the hem of the curtains. Later on the story changed to the shrimp being put in the curtain rods.
I thought the story was she drank a bunch of shrimp cocktails and put the 💩 in the curtain rods 💀

When I was lactating, I didn't dare go anywhere before putting absorbent pads inside my bra.
I worked in printing, and we had these great cotton pads we used when cleaning the presses between ink color changes. Those things were good for all sorts of other uses, about 4 inch square and very absorbent so perfect for bra liners.
My boss was nice enough to let me take a pkg of them home for household use. They were awesome for removing fingernail polish or applying wood stain to projects.
I know it's TMI, but more than once I ran out of tampons at work but made a pretty good substitute by rolling up one of those pads!

The rogue boob story was hilarious. And yeah, a boob out is 'nothing', really. If I were here neighbour (I'm a guy), I would just mention it casually... 'oops, your shirt has slipped', something like that, while looking her in the eye. I wonder if some countries (UK, Canada, US, etc.) will ever get over the idea of a bare breast being shocking in any way?!

As much as I LOVE the pettiness of putting food places for it to rot and leave a smell...certain foods are a NO because once they start decomposing, the type of bacteria or mold that grows on them are very harmful to ppl and pets. My family moved into a house that had a very horrible smell everytime we turned on the heat. My step dad eventually crawled under the house to look at every single vent to figure out what was going on. Basically the couple who lived there before us broke up and one of them stuffed packages of pork and beef into the vents. Hoping to get back at the other but they also moved. The rotting was extreme and the mold from that was then accumulated around the house everytime we turned the heat one and just spread and grew even more so in that environment. It took months before the smell, the mold, and us feeling sick was gone.

As someone who worked in delivery: This is harmless. We have seen nearly everything or at least are familiar to the noises. I have seen people without their clothes or in their underwear at so many occassions. I was mortified the first time, but started to just ignore it after this. Go on feed the baby. You want to me naked? So I will give you your package in a way that covers your... bits. ;) You learn to ignore it, because if you don't the people who do it on purpose (and yes, these people exist) will try to SA you as delivery person every time you have to deliver something to them. If you ignore it, it usually stops.
And if a person just was interrupted by the door bell while feeding her child, it would be so rude to tell her: "Oh you didn't dress properly." So, we just don't because we know, that we are the inconveinince.
Your a very nice human most delivery people complain when the job literally means interrupting people at home shouldn’t judge or be surprised that the person receiving package isn’t perfect

I agree, although when I was delivering pizzas I never saw those things, but one of my aunts when she had her son would feed him in front of the anyone who was with her whenever he was hungry, and it was no big deal. Later, I was helping one of my brother's neighbors with something, and her top became shifted, and exposed part of her breast. I never mentioned it ay the time because I knew it would embarrass her if I said anything. She did call my brother later, concerned that I'd been embarrassed, but I assured her that I hadn't really seen much of anything (which was true, because it was only part of the top of one of them), but if I had seen it, I wouldn't have said anything because that would have embarrassed her, and it wasn't anything that I hadn't seen before, anyway.
I am disturbed that people come to the door naked, or in some other fashion that is not acceptable. WTF is wrong with people??

The shoes in the closet isn't the end of the world; they make grabber tools for not a lot. I've had my fair share of mishaps like that and thankfully was able to recover the stuff.
Never climb in any space like that, especially head first or alone because people have died getting stuck upside down trying to recover items.

I remember a sad story of how a teenager died inside his van because he tried to reach something behind the 3rd row seat and it flipped back and pinned him upside down. He was able to call 911 on his cellphone by voice command even though his phone wasn't on him. 911 operator couldn't hear him very well and assumed it was a prank and hung up. He was able to call once more and was able to tell 911 that he was in a particular parking lot at his high school and what his van looked like, but police went to the wrong parking lot and never found him. He died, suffocated upside down as the weight of the seat squeezed all the air from his lungs.
This young man was an athlete but still could not extricate himself from that deadly position.

Grandmothers have the best reactions to everything. You never know what's going to pop out of their mouths, but you know your stomach is going to hurt from laughing by the end of it.
I pierced my tongue and belly button, and my grandma kept yelling about how I ruined my body and how I ruined her pictures. Lmao grandma, neither of those places are visible in my regular life. I think it’ll be ok. 😅 she’s been passed for 14 years, I’m almost 40, and my tongue belly and nose are now pierced and I have tattoos. She would be so proud 😂

Ok I’m not surprised at all about Temu. They’re selling things ridiculously cheap bc the customers are the real product
I've ordered from Temu 3 times and most of the items were better than I expected, except for two items that were junk. Temu gave me an immediate refund and I didn't have to send it back. Their shipping is horrible though. They use fly-by-night courier services I've never heard of like "PiggyShip". Last two orders were left at a house 2 miles away, someone I don't know. It's a miracle I got the packages at all, and I hate that they bothered that person by banging on his door in the morning when he works nights and was trying to sleep. I probably won't order from them again.
Similar experience. First time with edibles, and my gram(bless her) starts going on like "You don't have to BUY edibles I can make you some." Fast forward, I get the devil's lettuce, give it to my gram. I don't expect her to use, literally, the whole bag of lettuce in the brownie batch. When its done she tells me "I pre-cut the squares for you. Do not eat more than one square!" I go out and see these tiny little squares, literally one bite of brownie and I'm like "Psh, that ain't going to do shit to me." so I take three, because three little brownies made one normal sized brownie. My gram spent the rest of that night holding me like a baby while I cried because my high ass decided tonight was the night I had to let all my emotional baggage out, then I puked, and then I passed out and I was still pretty screwed up when I woke up eight hours later.
moral of the story is when grandma pre-cuts the brownies for you, don't take more than she tells you. Grandma was a fiend back in the day and she knows what she is doing.

I made cannabutter that came out very strong and gave a small container of it to a friend, told her to just spread about a teaspoon of it on toast. No, Miss "I can handle it!" ate the entire contents with a spoon, then got mad at me because she got sick. The same size container lasted me almost a month!

Also for the shoebox one, I had a similar thing happen (individual shoes but close) if you've got a garden implement like a hoe or metal rake, clean it and use it to scoop it up; or you could grab a broom, put tape loops on it (clear tape not duct) tape the loops down, then bring it up one shoe at a time then the box. So as retaliation, our counselor put a goat in their cabin. but it was on the second floor. The goat ate anything it could, and then they couldnt get it out of the cabin bc it couldn't easily walk down stairs. in hindsight, our counselors were savage
Ya know those mini tuna cans that used to come in the lunch-snack thingies? There was a dude at work that used to park his truck in the wrong spot, which would disrupt work until he moved it. He always acted entitled about it when confronted. We knew he left an emergency key buried in his tool box, so we used it to open his truck, we removed the plastics step, pulled up the flooring and stuffed a mini tuna can under the floor, under his seat, just slightly cracked. We then put everything back together and locked it up. The rest is obvious.
They’re not being rude about the t!+ being exposed. They were caught off guard and although they knew how not to react, they weren’t sure how to act. Happened to me the first time my sister in law decided to feed her baby during a conversation we were having and whipped it out without a warning. All of a sudden I began to complement her decorations.

I once had to walk twenty miles to get home so I could go to work the next day after fighting with a “friend.”
I got a few ride offers and most were very nice about my polite refusal. Well, a car passed me about three times, then they stopped, it was a pastor and his wife. They offered and I was only about three miles away and they seemed nice and it was HOT. As soon as I got in, they said they bought me a soda when they passed me the last time, and handed it to me. (As in they said they passed me a few time because they were doing a ministry a few families, and the last time they passed me they were at the store when they decided to come back and grabbed a soda on the way out, so they said.) It was not very cold, and when I opened it, I realized that the plastic didn’t crack like it had never been opened, so it had been opened. I pretended to sip, and got a little in my mouth, it was flat and tasted kind of medicine-y. They drove slow as hell to my “house” (I directed them to a convenience store a mile from my actual house.) and kept encouraging me to drink my drink, because I was sweaty. I poured some into the floorboard, cause fuck them, and acted like I drank it. When I got to the store, they pushed and pushed to take me the rest of the way, so I said “okay, just let me use the restroom” and went in the store. (I agreed to give myself a head start because I was worried even if they accepted my refusal, that they would come back and the last stretch was rural.)
I told the store clerk, who knew me, a quick synopsis and ran out back and hid in the trees until they left. They had allowed me to take a picture of their license plate, which the police informed me was a stolen plate. They took a report but never did find the people as far as I know, they also said they would get the soda tested, but I think they neglected to do so.
