She did come back. Not much improved.
"I'm PAID to be here, unlike all these other moochers" I bet the event didn't pay her to be there. She was likely paid by some fashion blog or magazine. The event organizers just don't care, Honey!
As a nail artist who works NYFW at least twice a year, I was shocked! She was obviously not brought into that world by someone in the know, and that's basically the only way in. And no matter what you may be thinking about how you are treated, you behave with grace and dignity. Even at the parties, this is business for most of these people and first rule of business is not to yell at the person in charge😂
This girl ended her career this way lol. High end fashion brands WILL find out who you are if you try stuff like this.

Let’s face it. Entitled people, like that fashion influencer, yell at people because they honestly believe that they can bully others into letting them have what they want. That’s all it is. She thought yelling at him would scare him or make him cow and give in, if for no other reason than to stop her yelling.

I swear, I have a coat that looks very much like that boxy green abomination she's wearing. I found it at a thrift store and bought it because it made me laugh. It is so ugly it could induce vomiting!
It's an early 1960s wool coat from the mens department at Sears. It is a nauseating combination of lime, swamp-scum green, and a mustardy yellow I describe as "horse pus". It's very warm and well-made, but when I've worn it in public I've caught people looking at it in horror.
As one friend said, "OMG! KILL IT! Kill it with FIRE!"

I love that Markus (the fashion week door person) made this video - he's a legendary nightlife figure in NYC, and you know what? If you're not a jerk, he's the nicest person in the world. I've never been turned away from a door that he's working. That "influencer" got exactly what she had coming.

I was a young mom. My daughter always wanted me to be the one who she went out with, but I never embarrassed her. I got up and danced with her when she wanted to dance, but she was always in a serious relationship and now married to him, and I always respected that. I am also married to the love of my life. We never needed the wrong kind of attention from men, and we kept to ourselves.
Yes that girl's mom reminds me of some of my stepsisters honestly. Like there's no balance of parenting and friendship.
I have two daughters, now grown with children of their own. Their mother and I were in accord: our job was to embarrass our daughters as often as possible.

My mom was older, very sweet, elementary school teacher. Not the party type. However, once she agreed to go barhopping with me. She got super drunk and left me at the bar when I was in the bathroom. I came out of the bathroom, and I saw her waving bye-bye at me thru the giant glass front windows.
This is not "young mum" stuff, this is woman who doesn't know appropriate boundaries stuff, old young or in between. That's weird.

@@davidvento5481 It was my regular experience regardless of the time of year. NYFW is a different beast but my friends and I played the game pretty well and took none of it seriously. Her entitled attitude was her undoing but she'll probably bounce back in time for next season.

I was a doorman/bouncer for years and I know what I did and what Marcus does is wildly different, it has it's similarities.
I can say, at least for myself, when someone came up to me with the "do you know who I am" additude they instantly lost a lot of respect no matter who they were. God forbid they actually said it. Then respect went to zero.

I have no idea who they are, but I love that skit too! If anyone wants to know what it's like to have a three-year-old, this is a perfect representation! Especially the back arch tantrums. I saw an interview a few weeks ago, a serious interview with a professional political pundit who has multiple college degrees in history and poli-sci. The man said, "like" and "you know" every few words. He could be the leading expert on a subject and I still wouldn't be able to listen to him!🤨

The smearing and over-handling of makeup products while rambling about nonsense is so overdone. There are thousands of women doing this same bit. So unoriginal! Find something unique to do, don't try to be like everyone else! Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.
I'll be glad when that trend is over, I've been over it for years. It's different when a REAL makeup artist shows techniques I can learn from, but this mess was just distracting.
Bailey Sarian is my exception. She tells fascinating crime stories with a wicked sense of humor (much like Charlotte's humor). She starts off bare-faced with clean skin and shows every step of her makeup artistry, and doesn't do the same face... different each show but always beautiful. I highly recommend her to anyone who enjoys murder mysteries told by someone with a quirky dark sense of humor!

Funny thing is, my boyfriends loved my dad. He could fix just about anything from cars to TVs and enjoyed teaching others his best tips and tricks.
One guy I dated had a beautiful 1940s WWII era Grundig shortwave radio he got from his grandfather, but it didn't work. I suggested he bring it to my dad because he used to build tube radios as a kid. He was skeptical because it needed tubes replaced that are no longer made. My dad had hundreds of old radio tubes in original boxes, never used. He had every tube that was needed and they got it restored to almost new condition.
By then, I was dating someone else and I assume he was too because we just didn't click. He asked me if it was okay if he still visited my dad. I had no problem with that! This guy grew up without a father so I was happy to share mine.

People confuse business with mean. Tyra and Kelly and the whole lot of them are always called mean or said they are ‘breaking down young girls’. What they are actually doing is preparing them for being out in the world as a working model. People will say things they think are mean. And standing there crying or trying to bully will not get you what you want.
As a woman of color in the tech and gaming industry I heard all manner of mean and awful things said. 10 years later I had earned enough respect that my employees only had to mention who they worked for to walk into an event, always on the list. I never yelled, never demanded, never expected less than what I asked for, but I’m sure some past employees thought I was ‘mean’. Focused can appear mean. People who are focused will often tell you, they don’t got time for your feelings. We can pay for therapy later, let’s get this done now. Don’t like it? Go work elsewhere.

Haha! Had my own little Charlotte moment today! Nothing big, but I was at an event with lots of booths where you could get stuff done by artists and this was all fixed price stuff, when I heard someone next to me say that no, there was no haggling about the price. The artist confirmed this and I gave her a quiet thumbs-up, thinking: " It costs this much 'cause it takes me fucking hours". Just wanted to share. (No misbehaving took place, btw).

Let's not pretend like the entire fashion industry isn't all about influencing. Kelly is being asked what is "in" and what is "out" because she has influence in the fashion industry. They influence the trends so people will buy what they want them to buy.
I so laughed at the kid that took his dad's seat for the ride home. Because my son and nephew both used to LOVE to steal my dad's recliner when he wasn't in it. Years later, and that poor chair is hard as a rock to sit in! I've asked my dad why he doesn't replace it, but I honestly think it's because no one else wants to sit there anymore, so it's always his. That's right, my dad would rather sit in discomfort than have to fight for a comfy chair. LOL

My favorite thing I've seen all week, besides the Reuters news story about a guy who was arrested in Mexico for terrorizing people with a large, super-creepy Chucky doll. He was extorting money from victims. Police arrested him, but one female officer also "arrested" Chucky! She had him in cuffs and held him by his hair to take a mugshot. I read that she was reprimanded by her boss but I hope not. Anyone who has a job that's dangerous and difficult deserves to have a little fun.

Okay, I Have to share, I taught middle school art for 22 years. When I ate something for lunch that gave me gas, I would walk around the room and pass gas. I started taking a strong oral anti-fungal drug a couple of weeks ago to get rid of the crud that's infected my left big toenail. I didn't expect side-effects, but it's made me very dizzy and nauseated to the point of throwing up.
A neighbor came by with his friend I've never met, a friend who's interested in buying my old truck that I really need gone. Unfortunately, I was puking when they showed up so I asked my son to go tell them I was too sick to come outside and I'm very sorry. Well, I could overhear my dear boy telling them, "Mom has a really gross toe fungus and the drugs she's on are making her vomit."
They left and haven't been back.
Great! Now every time I see that neighbor he's going to think, "There's the woman with gross toenails who's on drugs!"🤪

🙄🙄 I was a young mom with my first at 20 and second at 22. The best thing about it is that I understood more of the pressures. It also sucked for them because I knew all the scams they tried.😅 I was too tired raising my hellions, no time to go clubbing. I’m now in my50’s and don’t regret it
