As someone who has been identifying as a witch for about a decade now, I have never seen, heard, or read any ritual, tradition, spell work or whatever you wish to call it where you have to eat raw meat, let alone mice. In all honesty, I genuinely can't imagine how anyone with their sanity intact could even think this is a good idea. Aside from the health hazard it poses, why on earth would anyone want to eat thawing mice!?!?! As a bonding experience!?!?!?!?!

Giving a guy perspective on the wifey shit: if it’s clear that she’s laughing and thinks that it’s crazy too, then we (or I at least) will find it endearing. If she does it legitimately thinking that we’ve been talking for a week and are therefore married, it’s an instant HELL NO. But if she’s aware of how crazy it sounds and makes jokes, it’s cute as hell.
As a witch, I’ve never heard of eating mice ritualistically BUT… anything with animals is usually some heavy heavy magick, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it were a real thing that was passed down somewhere, though I truthfully couldn’t tell you where. All I know is that anything with animals is usually black magick (AND NO, black magick isn’t bad magick 😂)

I'm having trouble figuring out how to phrase my questions without sounding negative or judgemental. That's not my intention, at all. I respect anyone who chooses to be a positive presence in the world. As long as people aren't hurting each other (unless that's something they enjoy and consent to 😉) or other living beings, it's none of my business what others believe.
I choose to differentiate between food animals and non-food animals for humans, with the exception of significant historical, cultural, ritual, and/or emergency purposes. Mice are non-food animals for humans, unless one of the listed exceptios applies. Modern, collegiate roommate bonding is not a significant ritual purpose. I do not eat raw meat due to safety concerns, but I don't begrudge others their steak tartare and uncooked fish.
With that said . . .
The roommates buy mice that are not alive (pre-dead?) from the pet store. How is that _ethically_ different--or different from a mouse's perspective--from buying chicken from the grocery store? How is it different from buying those same frozen mice to feed to a pet snake?
I feel like there _is_ a difference, I just can't articulate to myself what it is. 💙

I remember dissecting a dead mouse in high school, and I still remember THAT SHIT WAS PUNGENT AF. How could anyone bring that anywhere near their face, let alone EATING the thing, fur, skin and all is beyond me.
THAT'S the part that gets me! And raw no less! There's REASONS you gut and skin game, just as there is for cooking it! People eat all sorts of crazy things in this world, heck snails and fish eggs are considered delicacies, but at least prep your food properly, you know? I've hunted and eaten my fair share of different animals over the years, but doing that is just... dumb.
The whole mice video was so different to watch for me as a Norwegian, cause Mais, which you pronounce the same as Mice, is just corn. So I kept imagining these girl just eating pisces of corn and everyone freaking out about it😂

Also, I have adopted mice from Pet Smart before and I've been told by one of the employee's it's the living mice who typically get sold for the benefit of feeding snakes (as it's their instincts to hunt their prey) or another thing that is common is scientists purchasing them for testing. So I was all too happy to give my little girls Pika and Sonic their new home where their future wouldn't entail being tortured or consumed. I really miss them so much.

Also the passenger was not a native English speaker. D and C can sound similar to non native speakers. He might not have fully understood the situation, yeah he shouldn’t have called the woman a b but maybe he thought she was acting like one. It’s hardly “verbal assault”, people are way too sensitive now if they’re calling it such. Verbal assault is a torrent of abuse, not one word. I’m from Poland and according to my babushka (very pagan survivor of holocaust) it was though that eating flesh together would bring people together and let them connect under one spirit and practically have energy flow through one another. She said she never experienced it first hand but had heard of it from a few fellow witches. Hope this helps!

I’ve been a “practitioner” since I was a child & Out of all of the ideologies and spiritual practices out there, there is none that I can think of that include eating mice. Even the types of practices that have sacrifices involved, don’t have anything to do with eating mice. I think these people are just a little on the strange side.

Lol I'm in a Coven and we definitely don't do anything like the girl in the first story 🤣🤣 We do things more like... clearing each other's chakra's, manifesting together on a New moon, writing down things we want to improve or release on a Full moon then burn the piece of paper, share what we are grateful for. Do readings for each other and pull a tarot card, make homemade teas, craft jewerly, make bathbombs, candles, try new recipes, watch a Netflix show together with our new baked snacks etc etc. (We focus more on Self-care, all power is within you kind of things, karma, energy, what you give is what you get.) I used to be a contractor overseas , so one time someone canceled their flight and they gave me a first class seat . I should of stayed where I was at. I won’t mention the celebrities name, but I end up taking care of his child until we got off that flight.
I'm a witch and I have never heard about rituals involving eating specifically mice (or raw meat) before. Consumption of food is present in witchcraft, for example each sabbath has specific foods associated to it, same goes for the many different deities people might worship. There is much more that I could go into but I'll refrain myself to do so.
From the video and the brief description, I would guess it really is some roommate bonding thing and the extra candles were there only for atmosphere 🤷♂

So I kept getting ghosted by guys who would later say I was just not the type of person that they were into(basically I was too weird) I was getting my heartbroken over and over because I would be what I thought guys wanted (and that worked) things would be amazing until I let some of my weirder traits pop up(think falls hard and fast, plans future way to early, cry’s after the deed kind of stuff lol) so after a string of heartbreak I get asked out by the most handsome , funny charming man and I decided right then if I go about this like I normally do I’m going to be devastated when he breaks up with me so I told myself you’ve got to go all in show him your “crazy” on the first date that way I didn’t get attached. So before the date I casually asked this man his shoe size and to my surprise he still met up with me for the date that night. I showed up with a pair of matching flip flops because old navy had a buy one get one free. So he bought me flowers and I brought this man matching flip flops on a first date lol fast forward 12 years we’ve been married for 10years ( we had a weirdly wonderful wedding at Cheesecake Factory lol)and have two kids. It really is just better to be yourself right away it’s so freeing and will save you some heartache ❤😊

As someone who's started owning pet mice, I was floored by the first story. They are so sweet and intelligent, and so are other rodents like guinea pigs and rabbits (which I also own). I read the comments by witches and the like too, and imo, if someone is killing and eating raw animals then who knows what they'll do next 💀

It’s hardly “verbal assault”, people are way too sensitive now if they’re calling it such. Verbal assault is a torrent of abuse, not one word. Two sides to every story people, don’t be so quick to judge.

Look, english is not my first language and the differences between C and D are pretty damn clear even more when the flight attendant said "D as in DELTA". Don't patronize us, we are bilingual, not stupid. Also, I'm pretty sure a flight attendant 100% has the authority to remove a problematic passenger, what do you think they're trained for? Giving you peanuts? They are trained to immobilize without actually hurting someone and are responsible for in-flight safety.
@@Lilac-and-Gooseberries this is true but flight attendants are supposed to visit the cockpit as limitedly as possible and you are per TSA regulation supposed to listen to flight attendants so this shouldn't have been a problem. Once the flight attendant issues instructions you're supposed to follow them in order to prevent the flight attendant from having to visit the cockpit to have you removed because the cockpit is designed to stay as uninterfered as possible. (And ultimately there might be two sides it doesn't matter what situation you're in though there's no cause for name-calling. Also I re-watched it twice just to make sure that I got the full context of everything and if I'm getting this after he comments that nobody was being combative with the dude before he started being combative the dude did actually start being combative and aggressive with the woman when he took her seat)
