I actually feel for that one woman who's friend was caught stealing and isn't even sorry that this could lead to her supposed "friend" losing her child. Like, I don't condone violence but id take a smoke break while that fight broke out and i dont even smoke.

I agree. This is why guilty my association isn't right! I understand some situations. But you can tell she didn't know that bish was stealing! I hope it works out for her. The fact that she may lose contact with her kids forever because of that is insane. I don't know what I would even do in this situation, hope this gets resolved and she gets to continue living with her kids
I do, too. Except she should have figured out what was going to happen before throwing hands. Her friend was caught shoplifting, and they were being detained at Macys until security got there. At that point, the police hadn't been called (I don't think) and I'm not sure how legal it would be to arrest the friend for shoplifting. However, the woman did give them a reason to press assult charges which comes with a heftier punishment and is considered a violent crime. Her anger was totally justified but probably got her in A LOT more trouble in the end.
The hubby publicly flirting and catcalling his wife is hysterical. My husband does it at home, not in public. I love it actually. .

I once ordered some bottles of a rare British soda that's really hard to find in the USA via Walmart marketplace. When the bottles arrived, I saw they were expired by a few months. I was furious because they weren't cheap. So I emailed to complain about them. Their response: "They are not expired. The expiration dates are written in the European style of day, month, year." I was the one who expired at that moment.

I had a former "friend" who would shoplift while i was with her, and I wouldn't know until after we left, and I would get SO FRICKING MAD, exactly because of this shit. If she got caught, I'd be implicated.
After the second time she did it, I refused to go to stores with her anymore, because I'm not going to jail for anyone's shit.
That happened to me as well. As soon as I saw what my ‘friends’ were getting ready to do, i left.

I think that Macy's would have a hard time pressing charges against OP, if she had no items on her. You cannot control the behavior of the people around you, and the law is, I think, pretty clear about when guilt by association can exist. There's no accessory before the fact - even if she'd been "distracting" a clerk by asking questions, it's very hard to prove that isn't just coincidence. After the fact won't exist because the friend got caught. OP just needs to be clear - "I have nothing on me, I wasn't stealing, I had no idea she was." You're not the keeper of your friends. But I too would leave that friendship behind.
This is why I don't feel too bad for not having friends.

That's actually why I don't talk to kids, even toddlers in that tone. They honestly appreciate it more and you'd be surprised at how articulate they are. They can tell when you take them seriously and that really goes a long way with them. Trust me, kids treat you different.

Yeah, I have always got on really well with kids and wasn't sure why, as I like kids better than a lot of people, but that's not saying much. But one of my friends told me it's because I just talk to them like they're regular people (age appropriately of course.) Maybe it's the 'tism but I've always even talked to infants like they're just regular folk. Once someone handed me their baby and I just awkwardly said "Uh, hey there... Got my tax return today, that was pretty sweet. So what do you do?" Like, idk how you're "supposed" to talk to babies. Feels weird to talk to them like they're a cute little animal cause, unlike the other animals, they'll be speaking in the near future.
Had to search out the "liquid in bra" thing......and it is true. Some push-up bras have liquid in them (Victoria Secret for example), but not all. The liquid is usually glycerin, silicone or water. However, most push-up bras use other methods to create the push-up effect, such as foam padding or air padding. Well, we learn something new every day lol.

Oh, she beat the breaks off her in pt. 2! You can't see it, but you hear everything and it was bad! The officer was hilarious, yelling "This is what I get for coming in on my off day!" In the end, they were both released and she blocked that person from her life.

Think of all the people you've been around that probably had drugs you didn't even know about that you've shared a car with. It could even just be grandma walking around with her scripts in a Ziploc bag and that can still be a charge. I prefer innocent until proven guilty.

The woman with her friend stealing actually happened to me and my "friend" acted the same way. I got banned from the store and the mall for a year. She was constantly stealing and would put stuff under her kid in the stroller and I would get furious. She said she would stop, but obviously she didn't. I beat her ass when we got back to her house (I had slept over and hady stuff there) and I never spoke to her again. Ppl are trash

Before Victoria Secret and La Senza had the fancy molded cups in bras that you see today, they had gel packs inside them (some removable, some not). Taking myself back to circa 2004, it was always hilarious when a packet fell out in the stock room and someone stepped on it by mistake, sending goo in random directions. It was like an ultra durable water balloon. 😂
Oh Lord the waterbed bras. The weeping and screaming when a boyfriend or idiot put 'em in the dryer... (You never put a bra in a dryer!!!)

As a former Water Bra wearer, the liquid gave the feeling of bounce for ladies that didn't have that naturally. FOR SMALL BOOBIES. Not sure why but the reason I was told water bras stopped being made was bc it was causing LARGE BOOBED ladies to have issues with the straps cutting into the shoulder. The water was replaced with gel bc it's lighter. Apparently...

This happened years ago when my daughter was 2, (and she already talked like a grown ass adult). Her dad was trying to fix the hot water heater, and cussing like he was trying to remember all the swear words he ever knew. I told him to shut up because our daughter could hear him. Dad says she’s watching cartoons, she’s not paying any attention. The next day, at the grocery store, and it’s packed. We’re about 4th in line and every lane was busy.(In the olden days before self checkout). My sweet angel sees a baby with a pacifier in his mouth. She looks up at me with evil in her eyes and says sweetly “is that a c**ksucker in his mouth”. Dead quiet! Everyone is staring at me, and I’m waiting for the floor to open up so I can disappear. So, I look at her with evil in my eyes and say, “ when I tell your mom what you said she’s going to wash your mouth out with soap.” Then, I suddenly remember I forgot something, and we head to the back of the store.
Yeah didn't happen to me but the ex took our then 1 yr old to the county court house for some business paperwork. She saw the high ceiling in the rotunda and dropped the f-bomb at full voice to hear the echo. Kids are so fun-oy!

It seems like a casualty of having class out in public. Not much you can do to stop somebody random from joining in. I think the bubble wrap lady was an 'extreme couponer' so she got that for free and decided, yup, yoga mat. I'd be snorting at every pop as well.
The funny thing is, way I see it if someone's taking an exercise class they're paying to have someone talk them through movements and point out if they have bad form on something. Otherwise, yeah, they can just watch a video. You can't stop people from dropping in, but they can't make you instruct them, either.

I was an assistant manager at pizza hut. When customers were rude, obnoxious and/or acting like children. I would talk to them as they were children. They either hung up/left or calmed down to talk like an actual adult.

Get your family friends to pick up your kids for a couple days,
ask a trusted person to handle some affairs, but most important is to get yourself a lawyer on the phone whilst Macys is drafting up their report & downloading their footage for authorities.
Making a social media post is tempting but should not be priority in the few moments of freedom in which you have ability to use your phone. Also… remove finger print unlock, face recognition etc unlock from your phone if indeed an arrest is about to happen. Turn off the ping, and disable the mics. No need for anyone to get into your device whilst they have it in a on evidence ziplock with your belongings. Set it to don’t disturb or remove SIM card if you want your loved ones to remain anon, ya don’t want to be responsible for their info getting lumped into the bs system.

Regarding the receipt that said "b!tch" on it.... we had a situation similar to this in payroll once. A lady worked in our "home office", and her husband called one day and chewed us out because he thought we were calling her a "HO" on her paycheck. LOL

I work in childcare, and I was on vacation the other week and when a grown adult I was hanging out with spilled his drink, I automatically, without thinking, said "Careful!" in the singsong tone I use for my kids. I apologized but he found it hilarious.

I absolutely remember gel bras, about 15 years ago. They were supposed to give you a soft, natural shape without seams or nips under t shirts or clingy dresses.
