Hi! I'm so happy i've found your channel. I know I'm a bit late, but I just wanted to share some thoughts. 1. More people should be talking about the scene between Felice and her father. The conversation reveals so much! To see the dad not realize that he basically sacrificed his cultural identity in order to survive at the school is heartbreaking. What's worse, he STILL ENROLLED FELICE THERE! I assume he continued to conform even after graduating and doesn't recognize the trauma he endured. 2. I think it's important to remember that Simon isn't use to receiving this much media attention. He's suddenly thrust into the spotlight and doesn't know how to properly react. I personally blame the royal court for this situation. Simon should have gotten a press representative and extra security. It shouldn't be up to Wille (who is also a kid) to explain to Simon the dos and don'ts of royal life. To me, the royal court (specifically that crusty old man) did this on purpose. I think they were hoping the attention would drive Simon to break up with Wille. That's all. Thanks for your reaction!
I hate that they fought in the tent. I see both sides. Wille doesn’t have a choice about learning Prince duties, but he doesn’t have to work for necessities. Simon and his friends have to work to pay for things, but they have some choice about the type of work.
It’s kinda full circle for me too. I was doing CZcams on and off for a couple years, but when I finally decided to get serious last year, Young Royals reactions were the videos that propelled me most at the time.
enjoying your reactions to this series! i think it's important to remember that we have much more awareness as we get older and it's easy to see comments as nothing, but when you're so young, it can really hurt to feel like the whole world hates you for expressing yourself how you truly are. we have to put ourselves in simon's shoes as a young immature boy since he never had media training the same way wille did. still loved your thoughts though i look forward to your other commentary

But it’s not that I lack perspective or don’t understand that his teenage mind is at play here; I’m just speaking from the perspective of an adult and what I would say to a kid in a predicament where they’re getting harassed on the internet. Yes, they’ll feel like the world is against them, but it’s important to instill the fact that words on the internet only hold as much power as you give them. So simply don’t look at them. I guess it's not easier to turn off from social media when it's a big part of a teenagers life. Not being able to turn away from comments is a very teenager thing to do. Also, as you can see in the comments, some of the people are in his town and know his family and where he lives - so it is transferring to his everyday life.
I can't believe how the show managed to get me to hate August but somehow feel sorry for him too. I want him to be with Sara because he really seems to love her but they both did terrible things 😅
