Yeah, I was bummed out when supermodel Karen Alexander was slaughtered too. 😢 Great cast! CLASSIC 90s movie! ❤

I have been in church my entire life. I am 40 years old. My dad is a pastor. I have literally never seen a pastor do that. I have seen pastors use funerals as an opportunity to invite people to accept Christ into their lives, but I’ve never seen a pastor stand in front of a congregation at a funeral and tell people that the person who died went to hell. I have been to funerals where the person who died was not a Believer, but the pastor never said that they are going to hell. Literally, what comfort is that to the family? What would be the point?

Great commentary! Not enough time to list them all, but here are a few of my grievances: (1) the scale of church seems too narrow/small. Looked fake. (2) Eva is a banker, but you never see her banking. (3) Eva’s choice of attire as a “professional” woman. (4) The bank looked like an H & M clothing store with no security. (5) Eva’s family coaxing her into a new relationship before the ink is dried on divorce papers. (6) Tiny Eva dragging Dallas with one hand. (7) The preacher dressed in coveralls because he lives in the country. (8) The dead farm animals arranged in a circle. (9) Benji’s entire livelihood is wiped out and he is “don’t-care-fied.” (10) Dallas’ high drama family accepting his death in the most anti-climactic way. Conclusion: A non-sensical movie by a filmmaker who really does not give two shits about artistic integrity. Just my opinion, y’all. 😊

The dialogue is so bad and the first sign is insane. I even said oh Lord Tyler found the manosphere. The other couple having issues story line is IMMEDIATELY dropped

I Have A Question For You, When Has A Person Ever Leave An Abusive Relationship/Marriage, Never BC Their Either Afraid To Leave Or Don't Want To Be Alone, That Person Has To Be Strong Enough To Leave, Even When Other People Tell Them To Leave The Relationship, Unless One Take The Other Out & Get Put In The Grace, When Has Anyone In An Abusive Relationship Left Willingly, Even When She Tried To Leave, He Still Found Her, Also When Has The Authorities Ever Done Anything, They Always Will Have Some Kind Of Excuse To Not Protect Anybody, They Always Come When Somebody Stop Breathing Not Before It Happens

Yea is just not for you, which is understandable. I personally love this movie watched it like 3 times. It's really just a character study of 3 people who are co-dependent of each others positive and toxic traits, its an enjoyable watch.

what's happening is Dallas is traumatize and been through a lot that was build up in so every time he gets drunk he expressed himself and he's hurting from his past and that fact that he was forced to do a lot stuff but he didn't know how to handle his past or his feelings so he taking everything out on Ava and besides thinking being acholic would make everything go away while feeling like Ava was trying to control his life while actually trying to help him
