Story 1: The OP is definitely not being a jerk. Sarah should have put more thought into her wedding plans and how expensive it is.

Story 1: That friend needs to understand that going out of a country is expansive and some people either can't afford it, or they can't spend money or else it would set them back. OP has been saving and now you want him to spend his money to see your wedding that's happening in another Country!
Story 2: OP's mom need to shut up and chill. You change your side dish. Maybe you got something more expensive as your side dish. Or maybe it takes more time to make it. You really shouldn't make a big deal out of it.
Story 3: Your boyfriend should have never gone to the place with his father. Let alone go along with it. At least you found out before your wedding, because that would have been worse. Either way, you shouldn't give him another chance because cheating on your partner is just wrong.
Story 4: Dude, if someone says that they are going to pay for everything, then they need to doing that. Not just say it and then say last minute for someone to pay for themselves. You wanted to go and said you were going to pay everything, you need to take care of that and do it. Don't use OP's promotion as an excuse because again, you said you'd pay for everything.
Story 5: Dude leave the desk lady's alone. They are doing their job, telling people when they can see the doctors or how long they'll need to wait. Also, people like her need to shut up. "I'm important!" Like who the F-CK asked?

I knew someone who was acting like this. She thinks that money is like water. Endless. I cut them off. She is now telling everyone that I am a narcissistic person. Which is funny since everyone knows I was the one who finicaly supported her for months.

Story 3, the only way that relationship is salvageable is if the cheating was only massage parlors and the fiancé was genuinely messed up due to his father normalising using such services. Otherwise, yeah cheaters going to cheat and she's better off leaving rather than insisting on counselling, couple and individual, and at postponement of at least 1 year of the wedding to figure out the mess.

In the last story I can relate myself, in December 2018 I was hired by a restaurant named Smitty's on St. James in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada as a host/bus and it was terrible. Besides sitting and cleaning tables, there was a list of other things to do like clean and check washroom every half hour, clean the glass doors, amount other things. But one thing they didn't like about me was I took too long to clean tables, because they wanted done in a certain time frame but apparently I couldn't; and we actually had a woman complain that she wanted a booth and one wasn't clean, so I tryed to clean it as fast as I could but it wasn't good enough. Eventually they bumped me to Dishwasher about a few weeks after I started there and I left in April of 2019 because I wasn't treated respectfully. Because besides dishes, I was also made to takeout the trash plus sometime roll bacon; now do you really want to eat at a restaurant where the guy who washed your dishes whether he washed his hands or not, who also handled garbage was touching and handling raw bacon! Not to mention washing dishes with no gloves!

I'm a little conflicted by the cheating story, the op said that her partner was taken to a place and I'm not 100% sure he knew it would happen and was most likely influenced by his family. I'm not offending cheating but it kind of seemed like he was pressured into the situation and not his intention.
I disagree here, the OP said that he has cheated multiple times...this isn't a one-time thing. Also, if that place was sketchy, the fiance could've very easily gotten out of that situation by leaving or saying hes uncomfortable in some kind of way.... and if he really was pressured to go to this place, then i would've thrown that part of the family under the bus and tell the OP what they did. So many things shouldve been handled differently.
Way back when I was a server it was our job to inform the customer of a up charge for any and all changes or substitutes.

Story 2: had someone recently complain about the very specific liquor tax my business charges on all drinks. She couldnât believe we would charge so much on a mixed drink. Story 1: NTA. Iâve been through this myself. People such as that were NEVER truly your friends.
I had a friend who was entitled. He wouldnât let me play games with my other friends and basically followed me everywhere. I stopped being friends with him because i wanted some privacy.

Story 1: Seriously Sarah should have offered to pay for OP to go, if OP is that important of a person to have at the wedding then Either Sarah should pay for OP's trip, or replan the wedding to somewhere more affordable, most of these kinds of weddings are done by rich people, or done by a very small group of guests.
