The lead-up to Eurovision 2022 has begun! The countries that are representing in this year's contest have already started to select who they want to send to Turin.
Finland is one of those and they're holding their own contest called UMK 2022, to find their star to shine in Italy.

The guitarist is new, she is from a Finnish band called TikTak. It was quite popular band (in Finland) in the early 2000s. 😊
The feathers in Lauri's hair have been his signature style since 00's. The female guitarist is new, but she has been been famous in Finland for over 20 years (teen girl band Tik Tak) and is from the same neighbourhood as Rasmus. So all of them are very experienced live performers!

Actually, Tiktak has sold more records in Finland than the Rasmus.

I like the song and also the show. Emppu is also nice character to actually represent "Jezebel" - the independent female.
Been a fan of Rasmus for a long time now and just learned about their Eurovision song. Hope they will get the points they deserve
I was a little underwhelmed by this song at first. Safe to say the song grew on me, and it might be one of my favourites now? The Jezebel hook just gets more catchy with every listen. Agree that Hurricane had more of an instant impact on me than this one, though. I am very keen to see them perform this live at UMK.

If Finland send Rasmus 🤘 it's not gonna be disappoint everyone song is great

Jezebel is great, high quality track, with a classic, '00s element that we all love i think cause it's m**fuckin' rasmus. Normally i would prefer cyan kicks for their high energy and the hook, but "hurricane"'s lyrics are so corny, it doesn't hit so well for me. I wouldn't mind if any of these two went to Turin, but imma go with Jezebel, it's also a huge grower

Sorry for your loss. It's OK not to be able to be your most energetic self, and it's also OK to take some moments off from the grief. I'm confused about the norms of what you're allowed to feel and do in the most extreme moments. Screw the norms, feel what you feel.
I personally think The Rasmus does a solid job here, with some nice hooks and way more than minimal effort put into it, but not a smash hit as is. The chorus needs more punch to make up for the mediocre lyrics.

Honestly I prefer Cyan Kicks, the rasmus is an important band of my adolescence but Hurricane from Cyan Kicks has the energy and the power that Jezabel don't have. Cyan Kicks makes me feel more than the rasmus and I think they are a little band that the worlds need to know, if they win the finland contest for sure they will go worldwide.
