It's weird how this song affects to whole body and leaves me totally exhausted and breathless by just listening it. It's so energetic, lots of variations. Every time I listen it I'm finding something new.

@@drjulietburke Not commenting on the winning part but there were 7 international juries in UMK and they suprisingly gave Dark Side high points and it won the jury vote. Ofc that's just 7, but it showed us that juries may surprise you. Nostalgia is strong with this song and it is a high quality arragement and performance after all whether you like the song or not. (EDIT: the amount of juries)

I was born in the 90s...and definitely reminds me of the music from early 2000s (Linking Park, Greenday, some Avril Lavigne stuff too). When I was a kid never watched eurovision contest. Now (I am nearly 30!) I am all of a sudden interested. Not sure if it's a bad sign or a good sign???? (on reflection I think it just means I have become old haha)

Well, I was born in 1980 and I've watched Eurovision ever since I was a child. I remember many of my classmates watching it too, back in the beginning of the 90's. And boy did our entries suck then... From Finland. :)
@@kaisanuolioja8937 i did watch ESC randomly as a child when I caught it on (I had my own TV in my room from age 12 but I never abused it that's why it was fine). My parents didn't care for ESC at all. But that I'm actively following the entries and deciding already long who I root for before they're live on stage is definitely for me an adult thing. And yes, a lot Finnish entries sucked but so did the German ones. looool
@@evilynnigirlie For me, getting to know about the entries beforehand is a thing of the CZcams era. Where would we have watched them in the 90's when online video basically wasn't a thing? Maybe they played on the radio, I don't know.
