What do you do about the parking brake? If you move the floor brace the front cable will be 2 3/4" too short and the rear cables will be 2 3/4" too long.

      this is from their website
Note: When you move the floor support bracket back, in order to connect the bracket cable back up to the floor support, you will need to make a new bracket the extends it to the length that you moved it….. the cable will not stretch 2-3/8″ inches to remount the bracket back up to the floor support.

Isn't there several aftermarket crossmembers that make it much easier so you don't have to cut the floor brace out?

They have a ton of crossmembers such as mustang 2 ifs, ones that work with swaps(t-56, t5, etc...) Parts are out there for sure.

The transmission mounts to the floor support. If the floor support is moved backwards 2 - 3/4" then the transmission will also move backward 2 - 3/4" and the clearance issue still exists. Am I missing something? Someone please tell me what I'm missing!

The mount location on this new transmission is 2 3/4" further back than the C4 & toploader. But the shifter location is pretty close to the same as a T5.

    Greetings
I am in the process of purchasing the Tremec TKX Manual Transmission for my Ford Mustang 1992 LX with an LS swap Engine . I have noticed that there are two types of TKX Transmissions available GM or Ford. I want to make sure I choose the right one that does not require cutting the floor for installation. Additionally, I have seen that there is an LS bellhousing option. Could you please advise me on which specific type I should purchase for my vehicle?
    GM or Ford ?
