Hi I wanted to ask you a the ac stopped working on my 2008 ford escape hybrid. Had it changed 16 months ago. Can I just replace the ac compressor and the reciver dryer / expansion valve and the orfice tube or do I have to replace the ac condenssor as well ? Thank you!
Yes, the 2005 model year seems to have 2 options. This means that when they manufactured that model year, they changed in the middle somewhere. It is possible a GM dealership can figure out which design you have based on your VIN or RPO codes. The other way would be to go to a nearby auto parts store and match it up before purchase. This would be hard to figure out online.
Thanks a lot❤
How to push In lift gate strut to get it to fit

That's a lot of money to throw at it. Better to put some gauges on it. Is the compressor clutch engaged?
Yes I would first have it inspected before replacing any parts. You may not need all that.
How do I know which ones to get for my 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe? I see it says first design or second design
