- Rear window latch not working? Watch to see tools and how to fix the problem. This is an easy job and quality parts only cost roughly $30. The car I am working on is my 2002 Chevy Trailblazer EXT LT 4.2L. The part you will need is called a lift support strut. See below to a link for the struts I used (ACDelco 510968).

Hey guys i know he blocked the view and its dark but I promise you just have to pry off the clips to remove the old and and the pop on the new ones after.. super easy just did it in 5 minutes once I understand that

Hey man thanks for the vids I have a 2004 trailblazer and water goes in through the top of that back window or trunk not sure but the metal that holds the trunk doors are really rusted any tips what to do?

what happens if your back glass only wants to raise on one side and other side won't raise

How can I find the hydraulic for the glass and the hatchet? Or are they the same
2 different lengths when comparing glass vs entire lift gate. The design might be identical, but dimensions are not. As far as left and right, I'm scratching my head wondering if this wasn't a ploy for cash grab. Every Stabilus strut I have ever bought, regardless of car manufacturers, has 1 fits both sides.

How about if the window won't open at all? Stuck button.
Does the back gate open at all? You may have to manually unlock the window. I have another video that shows where the manual unlock can be located for the back lift gate 👍
The glass window part doesn't open with the button. The button won't go down at all, it looks like it used to work, may be stuck somehow.
Sorry for the delay Alexis, I was busy with the holidays.
I took a closer look at the button today on my car and it would go down when locked. The internal lock may have freezed up. Try removing the trim panel and spraying some wd-40 on it to loosen it up.
This is a video on how to remove the trim panel to get to the lock. If the wd-40 doesn't work inspect the lock for blockages or issues. Let me know if any questions come up. Best of luck!
