Are you not trying to be a bit sarcastic here John.... ?🤔 To each its own... a lot of people swear by being fruitarian... it's all good. ;) Love the video you did on " pesticides and insecticides " it was so well done. BTW, I eat and juice fruits 80 % of the time. Occasionally eat whatever, you know, when at friends or family, staying open mind is a must 💖

I am here to show the MANY ways to eat a raw vegan diet. I do not follow the "common camps" in raw foods. I am in "my own camp". I am an independent thinker, and strive to get others to NOT be followers, but to question what they are doing, and show alternate ways to live a healthy raw vegan diet if people are interested. There is a lot of dogma in raw foods that I have lived and experienced over my 28 years living on a raw vegan diet. I have seen plenty of failures of people who are no longer raw vegan, and people who had failed health after years of eating TOO MUCH fruit, and not enough veggies, greens and other plant foods.

Time of year less expensive, would Airbnb be cheaper, leave out certain classes or programs, transportation etc... Anyway to bring the cost down so I can go for a week. I'm kind of on my own with figuring out health issues except what I've learned from the Internet . I eat a raw diet ( which I learned about on the Internet) but I still need help I guess. So that's why I'm trying to get there. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks again

Started on a general all raw diet mixed, then I did a no fruit diet for 6 months, Rainbow Raw Food thing... ugh! After that I went on a fruit binge, I was craving fruits so bad after not having them for 6 months, the 80 10 10, continued that for a few years until the hair started falling out, I was eating salads, nuts and seeds too but obviously a little short on something there, on to experimenting around a lot on different diets, including cave man, now back to fruit and veggies raw, and doing some cooked aka John Kohler. Maybe finding the sweet spot.

Of course he “cheated” it’s NEVER a smart idea to limit your fruit intake. I haven’t cheated in 13 years because I am eating as much fruit as I want! Fruit is NOT the enemy. Processed sugar is. John should know this and sorry but it’s very strange that John seems to demonize fruit now. It’s sad to see.

At the end of the video, he says, he can’t go long without eating fruit because he’s weak so it would appear that he loves fruit so much that demonizing it would be a foolish way to describe his outlook on fruit.

I've been on all types of diets throughout the years and the ones where I had to limit fruit or no fruit were always unsatisfying to me. I love being able to eat fruit. My body digests fruit so well and although I do eat a veggie meal as the last meal of the day, the veggies are so heavy in my system and it's a noticeable difference in my digestive system, even with proper food combining. I hate when eating fruit to satiety is frowned upon.

He did say at the end of the video he had only went a week at the longest without fruit before. So he obviously isn’t avoiding fruit .

I used to eat mostly raw, didn't change other than convenience. I am a long time healthy eating vegan, got there via the healthy path. Shout out to Richard Simmons for the inspiration. I do not eat much fruit, as a dessert and my labs and health has always been good. If I were craving I would certainly alter things. I know others who just do not eat fruit, grew up not liking them. My elder mom was recently told her lack of eating more greens, variety of greens contributed to her vision problems as the eyes need those vitamins. The Japanese diet has long been of variety. As long as we are being smart nutritionally and our labs/health show it I think we find what is good for us. More greens, every meal is good for me. I know that specific diets has really helped people with acne, candida, lyme and other conditions so it is really important to be open to such things. I drink a lot of water, drink it first thing when I wake. Very interesting to hear this perspective. Many of us grew up that we had to finish our plate as just a couple generations ago there was a risk that we may not know when we get food again. Do you eat any fermented foods? I cannot imagine my life without sauerkraut, kimchi, natto which I eat a small amount of every other day. I also love sprouting (remember 'the sproutman'?), microgreens. Biggest thing for me is to not be concerned with what I was taught as a child, RS really explained that in the 80s.

I lived at tree of life. And went to Ann wigmore. I knew kaelash. When you go phase 1 for long time. You don't feel happy. My experience. After getting off phase 1. I felt extreme pleasure. Gabriel cousens eats same way. High greens high fat. 4 c nuts every recipe. Very expensive. I remember nature's first law. Plagiarized a.t. hovassian..right? BOUTENKO eats high greens too. I think the problem may be too many nuts. Greens little calories. You have to eat high water vegetables like spirrooli squashes. Right? No fruit means no joy to me. I did phase 1. Very very weak. Guy beat " aids" diagnosis on 7 days just green juice. He was miserable low energy. It's very healing. But I loooove juicy fruits like lychee. Buckwheat sprouts we were told not to eat too much. If you eat too much there is something inside it that keeps you from eating entire garden. We were told. I love sunflower sprouts. 🌻
