  • Welcome to our next video in our Season 03 Review series in collaboration with the Hits and Crits channel. This video focuses on covering the most important changes to the Targaryen faction. In this video, I'm joined by Dennis from the Hits and Crits team, to discuss the most important Targaryen changes in Season 03.
This video series will go faction-by-faction until all have been covered. This series' videos, in full collaboration with Hits and Crits, will rotate between our two channels. Be sure to subscribe to this channel and to Hits and Crits (link in description) so you can see all the videos in this series.
This series seeks to outline and discuss the most important changes to each faction from the Season 03 update. We won't go line-by-line through the Change Log. Instead, we will focus only on the highlights and talk about any new and interesting synergies and list-building opportunities that come to mind. Big thanks to Chris for his collaboration in this series and to all the rest of his crew at Hits and Crits for the uncharacteristically high production values for a video on my channel! Enjoy!

Randall is probably busy with Thanksgiving, so I have to start the hype: Screamers!

I think combining Drogon with Screamers with Qotho is pretty wonderfull, with their panic mechanics, instead of using the Bolton's. Maybe not in meta but useful.

I totally agree! Qotho Screamers cost as much as Flayed Men but have arguably better attack stats with Sundering and Furious Charge, higher top-end attack dice, and immunity from Weakened tokens. I really like this combo.

Thanks for your support! Great to hear you’re joining the game. Game balance overall is very good right now, so it’s a great time to get into the game. I hope you find the Season 03 review videos useful and hope you’ll check out our battle report videos too. The battle reports might help you learn the mechanics of the game.

i dont know... in my gaming group we cant win against the Targ player. Just dont care about the game mode, the Tactics Board, or the Crads. Always vipe us out and Pyat Pree is absolutely broken with Mopatis and Varys.

I think the new Pyat is strong, but his House of the Undying can certainly be used against the Targ player to force them to get rid of their own cards.
There’s a lot of discussion about “the meta”, but there’s something to be said for “local metas”. In certain places, armies and lists that don’t make it far up on the Stats charts are absolutely dominating local scenes. I think this is great, and gives the game a lot of life and gameplay diversity. It’s also a good sign that not everyone bases their army and list choices off of what the community thinks is strong, but rather on what they enjoy playing. Good luck against that Targ player!
