Why no main breaker in your sub panel, isn't it required

Hello, did have your to upsize your gas and water meters

We did upsize our gas meter but not the water meter. You can calculate your fixtures and distances to find out if it’s required. Often times you can reduce something and fall under the number that triggers a needed upgrade. Of course if you don’t get enough pressure then you will want to upgrade them.

Where is this located? In California you need a separate sewer line.

This is city of San Diego Ca. The sewer line is separate from the main house. You simply have to make the connection at or near the street. But usually you won’t have to get a ROW permit and dig up the street.

Where did you rent the dump trailer? I am demolishing my storage shed and remove the concrete flooring and i need a dump trailer to dump all the materials to my neighbors property coz he wants it to cover the dip on his backyard.
So 3 inch sewer line is fine from the adu?
Are you putting fire sprinkler? How you gonna do it?

I own my trailer, but you can rent a dump trailer at Home Depot. They have a couple of sizes

As long as the main residence doesn't have fire sprinklers you shouldn’t be required to add them to the ADU. Check with your planning department.

@@waleedsharaf4524 that is accurate. It will be listed on your permit as an issue for the inspector to verify and sign off.

Happy to share on the trailer.. ietrailers.com/
Yes to Ferguson and HD. Don't buy the lower quality stuff at HD but HD is often cheaper on same items.

If you don’t have enough fall, 1/4” per foot for 3” and 1/8” for 4”, you can install a pump.

@@URBNBLDRS thanks. good advice. i didnt realize it goes to an 1/8th per foot when you use 4' pipe. that will definitely help. its worth the extra few dollars. im owner builder too
