Awesome video. Thank you I just recently bought one with the 500w spindle. I like the machine But I have not been able to test it with the 500 W spindle. Because the box that controls the spindle seems to have a problem with it, troubleshooting it and everything with the people at Two trees. We came to the conclusion that it's a relay in the box, but they want me to change the relay, which I'm not willing to because. The machine should have worked right out of the box. So I might have to send the whole cnc machine back to them. Because they want me to fix an item that is supposed to work. And they just don't want to send me the whole controller box. They had me test by shoring some wires in the box which I think I should have not done it because it was very unsafe. And now they want me to do all these mechanics. I don't like companies that promise you something. And when there's a problem, they wanna go around the Bush. When they can just do the right thing and just replace the box. That's all I need. Anyway thank you.
That is bad I have to admit. Now I do feel a bit lucky with mine that so far everything works correctly. Keep at them maybe they will change their mind.

Glad to see you got it up and running and being successful with the first few pieces ... it'll take a bit of time to learn all the in and outs of CNC milling, but you'll get there quite quickly I think 👍
With regards the power of the motors/spindle, I think it could handle most things that a bigger version could, albeit at a much slower pace!
Fingers crossed! Yes need to see what bits it can handle, what speeds and depths of cut.
Could you please do a nice clear step by step video more focusing on showing how to make a simple 3d design in the software and then how to send that design to the machine and how to set up the machine home point etc that would be great..please 😊
Ok I will add it to my list. Should I try using a "free" software or a paid one? Or does it not matter?

Could this machine have nema 23 motors fitted to this or would this effect the circuit board?
Don't know unfortunately
I have it and I can strongly recommend to add axial bearings on the screws. The tiny poor Nema17 motors are not made to be pushing and pulling so heavily

I have the same machine - running fine but would be interested to know more about what axial bearings to get and how to install them.
@@patrickbayly703 search for a thrust bearing and a shaft collar. CZcams probably knows how to install them
Would this machine work with soft metals, like Aluminum or copper, or a better question, would you take the risk testing some soft metal?
In theory it should although I've not tested that myself
Did you loctite the bolts on this ,saw quite few videos saying this is recommended. Also i watched a video earlier which says ,couldnt use easel and had to export it over to candle
Not done that could be a good idea, due to the vibrations. So far I was using Easel but transferring the file to an SD card, so it wasn't running off my laptop yet.
@CasualDIY OK,thanks for the fast reply. I am considering getting one. They look good for the price as long as the software runs OK. Have you had any issues with software malfunction.
@@JMAJOR-ki7ur no issues as yet, if you will use the supplied SD card to transfer data to the machine just make sure to format it
@CasualDIY I have a creativity cr_lazer falcon 10 wat I use before I do the hand routing .It is a very good machine . I have not tried cutting thick wood due to would use a jigsaw so less fumes
Couple of questions for you which do you prefer CNC or laser machines and which model would you recommend in both cases? That is the cheapest under the best age of all of the ones you have tested?
CNC and laser machines are two different tools for different jobs. Where it comes to CNC I only have the one so can't compare it to others however it seems to be a solid option for a beginner. Where it comes to lasers it all depends what you need it to do. If engraving then I would pick Ourtur 20W, if cutting then Longer 30W. If bit of both them Algolaser Delta 22W. If you need some extra features and size then Atezr. If you are just looking for the cheapest option then Atomstack.

@@robertsteadman8999 as I said if you want the cheapest with decent performance them Atomstack with at least 10W module is the way to go
Love the channel, however i think your reviewing to many products such as CNC machine, laser cutters. I understand you’ve got to raise revenue. But let’s have more woodworking techniques, which you excel in.
Thanks, there was quite a lot of those videos as well in the last couple of months. This machine is here to stay in my workshop and on my channel. So you will see it during some projects. Same as lasers, I use them for business and I do like to share with my viewers what I'm making with them. I think nowadays it all interlocks with each other. The new tech helps in work flow and allows making new cool projects that could bring some nice side revenue. But yes those normal woodworking videos are coming as well, for example I'm making something right now for Fridays video 👍😄

Did you measure how loud is this machine?
No I didn't. But it's not mega loud, something you would expect from 500W spindle. Obviously it's louder if you use bigger bit with deeper cuts.
