My eldest daughter died suddenly in January 2019, from a vicious asthma attack. She was 39 years old. @@SacrificeLoveJoyLife lol.. I’m 39 yo so I’ve been in the big boy world for a while. I agree that it’s a problem with people in general but the more knowledgeable the members of the jury are about science, the more likely they are to come to a reasonable conclusion when a lot of evidence provided in court is scientific in nature. I don’t even know what you’re arguing about. I just think there should be a basic legal and physics knowledge test to be on a jury. Nothing too deep. I know that trials from a judge have similar issues. I guess I thought that was obvious enough to go without saying but apparently you disagree?

Your love for your son is the most obvious and beautiful I have seen out of any 48 hours episode. These parents love their boy. And he is and was lucky to have that kind of love. Growing up in New England is complicated. People look and act gruff and tough, but if you have a flat they are the first to help you out. So you think everyone is severely a softie on the inside. He thanked me but he was only three lots from his home, so he thanked me, God blessed me, and finished the sort distance on foot. It wasn't worth getting in and out of a car for that short distance. I don't believe it's uncommon for people to make confessions they didn't do. Wasn't there an episode recently that the cops kept grilling the guy and he just ended up confessing to it.

It makes me so so sad that she felt guilty for letting him go to the dance alone. She was a wonderful mother and did nothing wrong. A 15 year old boy should have been able to safely go to and from a dance without being senselessly killed. I hope his sisters nail those guys butts to the wall!

"Did he call for me? What kind of a mother was I! I wasn't there for him"
What a pain for a mother to endure and especially for a kind loving one like she seems!
An evil person takes her child's life and she has the blame all upon herself. Sad! So crazy sad.

He spent half of his life fighting for justice for his loving son and remembering him in this way. I am crying watching this episode

That was heartbreaking. I wonder if Walter ever admitted it I would hate to see an innocent person being put in jail, but someone killed that poor boy he look like he was a sweet kid. I can’t even imagine why would anyone even tie him up like that I was a teenager once I understand being kind of dumb and ignorant as a teenager but I would’ve never even much is slap someone much less tied them up and taped up their mouth I mean what kind of nut job do you have to be you have zero for thought something you go wrong I just don’t understand

I am sorry for your loss of your son and brother John McCabe. Those killers went to the wake and the funeral to mourn your son and brother, as wolves in sheep's clothing. They were walking amongst all of us and they were filling day after day of their lives with lies. May you get justice, and I know you will see John again. Peace be with you.

I watch true crime every day. I’ve seen thousands of cases. I’d say I am fairly desensitized. I work as a dancer, I see a lot pretty regularly. I watched this entire story, no problem. Until the last few moments. When Johns mother was watering the plants at her sons grave. “Hey John, guess what?”, absolutely heartbreaking. Full fledged tears. How awful it must be for that moment to be a happy one for a mother. 15 years, six months, and two weeks could never be enough. My heart goes out to this family.

I get physically ill just thinking about it. My brother died during covid. My mom was 85yrs old. She was so depressed and her health declined. She died a year later from diabetes. No parent should ever lose a child in my mind. The longest I didn't see my daughter was a month during lock down. My grandson and I are extremely close. He lived with me until he was 7yrs old and then my daughter got married. They moved out. That month of no contact was traumatizing for him and I. He stays with me from Friday to Sunday. I feel so bad for John's family. His mother trying to hang herself 😢 is heartbreaking.
