    0:00 Intro
0:05 This is how the serpentine belt should have been routed.
    bit.ly/3RC76cx
Since it was installed incorrectly it caused the water pump to spin backward. It was also the technician who removed the fan shroud. It came in with it on.
Instead of pumping the hot coolant out of the engine past the thermostat to cool the coolant in the radiator, the water pump will force the cold coolant out of the radiator towards the thermostat causing it to close so no coolant enters the hot engine to cool it off.
0:28 Since the brake hose is twisted the brake fluid won't "flow" as it should and most likely kept the brakes engaged which got them very hot. The brakes were also so hot they melted the grease out of the lower ball joint.
0:38 McDonald's straw was in the way. Removed and the tray now closes.
0:48 Truck had no fuel in it.
0:59 If the serpentine belt is broken off, the alternator won't be able to charge the battery which caused all the issues the customer was having.
Sometimes they fall off due/break due to age, but it can also be caused by a bad pulley.
1:12 As mentioned the customer used washers since they didn't have the correct wheels that were the correct bore size to fit their vehicle.
The customer could have got hub-centric rings to fix that issue.
1:24 Customer got new tires installed.
1:33 The customer got a new lower control arm + alignment before leaving.
1:41 The customer's friend installed the sticker as a joke.
1:51 The customer damaged the sub-frame and power steering rack.
2:03 A/C Compressor wasn't being used, so the technician was surprised why they just didn't remove it. Also, you can see the customer used some wiring connectors that aren't meant to be used on a vehicle's electrical system.
2:12 The technician said: "Nissan Pathfinder Customer came in for both rear doors not opening. exterior handles diagnosed by customers' google searching. Replaced handles as requested. We found both lock modules to have failed. Rotting pizza and other food in the footwells and around the children's booster seats."
2:28 The technician said: "We couldn't turn it by hand so yeah, plugs and coils out and turned it over with no compression. The intercooler was also full of water. After we got all the water out we wanted to see if it would fire and it has a bent rod."
2:42 The technician said: "the noise and issues were confirmed to be another failed/defective transmission which damaged the clutch and flywheel, as far as I know, there are still issues with the Manual 5 Speed PSA Group transmissions. It started off with it jumping out of 5th to neutral and then 5th gear was missing, only for the other gears to become the same as neutral. Car was recently returned to the dealer with electrical faults at only 7300 miles / 11748 kilometres."
3:03 "I was under the truck changing the oil when it started to roll down the driveway and I managed to stay under it and not get hurt."
I think the guy somehow took the truck out of park when he was underneath. He most likely was doing something with the shift linkage going to the transmission and took it out of gear.
    3:16 Outro. Thanks for watching!

My college buddy wanted to flat-tow his Duster to Florida behind a rented truck so I figured I'd remove the driveshaft so as not to cook the transmission. I was lying under the car in my parents' driveway which has a slight slope to it. Undoing the u-joint bolts went fine until the last one which was really hard to get out. It finally came loose with a "thump" and next thing I knew there was a tire pressing on my shoulder as the Duster tried to roll into the street. My friend had not set the parking brake, and I hadn't checked or put a block in place. The only saving grace was that everyone else was inside at dinner and no one saw me try to run myself over. We had a close one when we were working on my father-in-law's combine a few years ago. Had to rebuild the clutch since it was worn out, and in order to do that, had to have the LH drive wheel pulled off. Somehow none of us thought to chock the combine when we pulled the wheel off. Fortunately, we found more stuff wrong, so while we were outside waiting for our wives to get back with parts, we heard a gut-wrenching crash from inside the shop. Sure enough, the combine had rolled forward off the blocks and was now resting on the shop floor where I had been laying only 45 minutes earlier.

I can't take credit for it, but another commenter somewhere said when he was 16 & began driving, his dad told him the definition of Defensive Driving: _Always assume the others driver cannot see you, cannot hear you, & will not stop!_
I began driving for Domino's Pizza at 18. Within my first year with them, my everyday mantra became _Assume_ NO ONE _is going to yield ROW to me today._ By 19 I had one fender bender that I shouldve avoided. My insurance paid to repair that person's car. In the 31 years since Ive been involved with two other collisions & they were both life-threatening, even though there were no injuries. I caused neither collision
This is preaching to you unnecessarily. But for anyone else reading this, what I am saying is keep practicing Defensive Driving everyday. Pride & anger are what cause collisions in the first place, & those lead to hospitalization & death. So there is no place for pride & anger out on the road. Stay alert; stay humble; stay alive! :D 💜

I experienced the first issue with the reversed water pump on a Ford van I used to own. The belt squeaked and was a bit loose, I noticed that it was routed incorrectly according to the diagram. I fixed it and it didn't squeak anymore. Unfortunately I also just happened to not drive it for about two months after that. When I started driving it again it started overheating all the time and I never made the connection about me changing the belt. I actually ended up getting rid of it because I couldn't figure out the issue. Looking back now, I'm certain someone installed a reverse-flow water pump in it and rigged the belt to turn it opposite from the stock pump. It still makes me furious because I loved that van and there was nothing else wrong with it. When I got to Oregon I stopped at a Les Schwab tire place to get it checked out, because I couldn't find anything wrong and had minimal tools with me. There were two tennis ball sized lumps on the inside of the RR tire. I ended up getting all four replaced because they were getting worn and it was about half the price I'd pay at home. They even gave me a discount because I wouldn't be able to ever use their warranty! Looking back, I shudder to think about all the cliff side roads I drove along with that tire like that.

Other times, it's just "lucky idiot" time even for those who know better, like me. I was just going to look under a friend's Pinto for a moment in the dorm parking lot, so we used the scissor jack . . . on a slight grade . . . and I was glad it wasn't a "low" car when it fell off and knocked the wind out of me. Always chock at least two wheels and always use a jack stand even if you use a hydraulic brake!
Years later we live at the top of a hill and I've been paranoid every time we jacked a car up. We eventually got a QuickJack and I panicked a minute the first time we did brakes/tires and I realized it wasn't chocked. Back in the 90's my buddy was under his 84 Camaro on a sloped driveway. It rolled backwards over the rock he had placed under the rear tire, over his legs he had under the front tire while changing it. It rolled out the driveway, onto the road and down his neighbors driveway, smashed into the garage door, hitting the Impala parked inside, hitting the opposite wall, pushing his bedroom wall in about 4 inches.
