@@ozzie_goat I can't complain too much about mine. My biggest complaint is the Honda engine. Working on it is a pain. The back 3 spark plugs are a pain in the ass to replace. It took me 4hrs to replace the alternator a few years ago. But overall I've been pleased with it. Bought it in 2008 with 39k miles on it and I'm currently at 298,559 miles. It's my hunting rig, so I run different tires than recommended. I've plowed through snow drifts higher than the hood, pulled several vehicles with it, I even hauled about 3 yards of soil in the back

The hearse tire looks badly scrubbed from a poor alignment. Considering how much driving a vehicle like that actually does, when it's even slightly out of whack, the tire just starts disintegrating. It's visibly feathered. The outer edges are also worn to nothing, when the inner tread is slightly better-ish? So low tire pressure, causing high heat, was probably partially to blame with that one.

Yea that's every brake job here. At least the ones that still have a pad or a rotor left

@@backfire_tv3178 Im in NY and its actually very unusual to see rotors that dont have this build up of rust. Usually less than half of the wear surface is clean. The inside is always worse than the outside and the rear rotors are the worst for rust.Basically new rotors are needed every brake job here. Sometimes it gets so bad that the rust ridge starts hitting the caliper bracket or the backing plate and customers complain of noise.
ive seen the rust get so bad that the pad surface of the rotor brakes off the hat section!! Also rust starts to form between the backing plate and the friction material of the pad and the two separate. I always buy the coated rotors , it helps a little
Good luck with your career , learn as much as you can and get a job with the city / state that provides a pension!!!!! Also start saving for retirement now!!!!!

Jesus Christ ...I know old vehicles were better build but ...only because you maintained your car. Everyone was expected to do their oil changes, plugs ... filters, tires. A car was driven 20years, 250,000 km and even after that time the only issue was rust. I opened an engine of an old Volvo 850 ... Few years ago with 285,000. CYLINDER HONING looked mint... oil changes every 8k km!
