the hobby vids are great, you should do some more if you like making them :D
If you're open for recommendations: Maybe paint horns and claws in different colours than the skin. It adds some nice contrast and looks more realistic. Especially on Be'lakor its very noticable.

Me: Literally painting a Khorne Lord of Skulls completely with normal paintbrushes, no airbrush, mostly drybrushing only with citadel paints. All while watching Matt really putting in a lot of effort.

oh man, I adore what you did with the color schemes! Stunning models and they filmed well for sure.
Something I kinda noticed. The color scheme he used is almost similar to the Bahamut in FF10.
I like that this is highlighting the techniques you've studied and practiced, this is a great way to show that if a person puts in effort and study we can all be good at our hobbies
I loved this video! Got into painting a few years ago and havent found airbrushing to be really accessible so this video really helped me see someone actually use and talk about why they used specific paints or tools. Already put together a $450 wish list xD

I just recently picked up Infinity by Corvus Belli and started painting. It's definitely a tough journey but it's so much fun and can be very relaxing. Glad you're back and I'm glad that I now know about Dice Check. :) Hope you're happy man.

Amazing video! I like that you use other kind of washes and inks, everyone uses citadel washes and paints but nobody uses enamel-oil washes and inks! Loved the results! Please more videos like these one.

Also love your casual approach to all of these techniques (airbrushing, inks over underpainting, and oil washes). So often they're presented by super professional painters and come off as super intimidating, but I think you manage to make them feel approachable.
I've always wanted to get into painting but didn't feel like spending money to experiment beforehand. Thx for doing it for us and sharing your conclusions :D

Quick hack with the oils, base them in something poppy and bright, then dump oil paint all over it, then use a makeup sponge after 15 minutes and wipe away the still-wet paint. Instant highlights and darks. Great job on the models!

I loved this! Would like to see more if possible. I also love that model even if Kairos is better. People seem to paint these birbmen always so nicely. Personally I am a little bit hipster and therefor would have painted him red with yellows and greens like a parrot.
