I played warhammer for around 2.5 years at this point, and I’ve been a mini painter for much longer, this series is so fun to watch from a veteran point of view I can’t explain this.

As someone who paints minis on Twitch, I can say the miniature community is the BEST community to be apart of. Everyone is so nice and supportive.

You've been a big inspiration for me in terms of how I go about editing my videos, so thank you very much for all the content you've made throughout the years.
Looking towards the near future and the games you'll be playing, at least with Warhammer, I don't have too much of an interest in the whole tabletop scene but I fully intend to watch each video that you release. My buddy bought the Space Marine Adventures game for us to try out at the beginning of the year, we play board games often. Before that we had never gotten into the 40K universe.
Quarantine struck before we could play, and I became curious about the lore of 40k. A few internet clicks later I eagerly told them what I found. Last week we were finally able to play space marine adventures, with our full 40k armies sitting on the shelf anticipating their turn.
Once again the Content is top tier.
The Camerawork and Cinematography is Poggers out of 10.
If you haven't discovered him; StrikingScorpion's boards are a masterclass in setting up large games and gorgeous tables. His Batreps are great.

Between episode and 1 and 2 of this series. I have painted over 20 minis for kill team and delved into one hell of a new hobby. I enjoy playing it with a friend on tts during covid, and helped me enjoy the small things and the hobby of painting minis. I want to thank you, bricky, and the whole karp krew in this for helping me discover this amazing game!
man, i love this transition to 40k video diary so much. my friends dylan & chris got me back into it about 5 or so years ago, after about a 15 year break from it, but i've never looked back. dropped video games and cable tv for my love of the hobby. its literally plastic crack. lol. hell, we've slowly be turning our other friends on to the game even though they HATE the math aspect. i'll be sending them the "40k is not just luck" video you guys did recently as it is literally the most fun and digestible break down of math hammer i have ever seen. they're gonna love it.

I've been waiting for that part 2 for such a long time !
I recently graduated from Uni and applied to over 40 places. I was offered one position tuesday-saturday overnights as a DBA. I was losing my mind working alone overnights especially because I've always been a morning person. I picked up WH40k as a hobby and I fell in love with building and specifically painting my models so much so that I got myself a 3d printer and now just print/paint all sorts of things from starwars, anime, DnD, etc. I havent even played yet but just have a huge growing box of painted prints that I just started giving away to my friends. 10/10 would at least try for the building/painting. For me it is theraputic

Why don't you just use tokens that represent the models you want? I don't see why the economic aspect has to be a barrier.
Doesn't seem like a fair way to run a system, where I have to buy the model to use it. If the base is the right size then what is the difference?
I get that in general it's more fun to use the actual models, but beggars can't be choosers, especially when stock runs dry.
