      @Siege181 Před 3 lety +2

      To be honest mate, I started using the AO dampening pad with makeup brushes a few months ago. The dampening pad helps to keep moisture at just the right consistency. I then indulged myself to a set of the series D recently and haven’t looked back! You get so much more control and consistency with the AO brushes, they are DEFINITELY worth the investment! Just make sure you follow the cleaning instructions and they will last far longer than any makeup brush. Plus it means no more pretending the Primark makeup brushes are for my wife.... :D

    That result is hard to argue with for 90minutes work, looks really impressive, for the weapons my first instinct would be to properly rust them all over, I'd probably just run a pencil round the edges of the blade for the metallic effect and coat the rest with a rust finish for guaranteed tetanus, but having seen the flesh, I don't know if that would mesh well with the rest of the model

    This is my favourite figure... I painted it a few years ago with dry brush but that was before I found your brushes.... I may have to do another one now.... Nice work as always.

      There's nothing wrong with having 2 GUO... although if you're doing that you may as well have 3, to make the Nurgle symbol :)

    Hey Artis Opus! Sent here by Kirioth, and absolutely loved this video, Puppa Nurgle will be very pleased!! I have done a very small amount of dry brushing with single colours before, but like Kirioths videos of using these brushes this is totally on another level. Love it, ill be watching many morr of these and giving it a go sometime soon!

    Like most people I heard about Artist Opus brushes when they arrived, I was unaware of the YT channel until Kirioth directed me here.
    What an amazing paintjob. I'm a big proponent of drybrushing (my hands shake so edge highlighting can be problematic) so it see it used so proficiently, and to produce such a good looking result warms my heart.
    I'm off to watch part 2 now and who knows how many more vidoes.

      @ArtisOpus  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey dude, I hope you enjoyed Part 2!
      I''m a huge proponent for process over precision, with the right knowledge you can do so much, so fast, so I think this should be perfect for you, apart from dotting his beady-little-eyes there's not a precise bit here, and he turned out super.
      Happy hobbying, dude :)

    Absolutely fabulous! Love the way the skin turned and well better then anything I could do with a wet brush.
    I've always loved to try these brushes but never had the chance with the price, seems to be amazing for all sorts of stuff I've wanted to test.
    Here from the Kirioth Video btw!

    This looks so amazing, and seems like a fairly easy thing to pull off. I can see it working best with the larger models for sure, though I bet it could be used for the smaller models as well. Thanks for sharing!
