That one is gonna skitter across the bottom of a riffle like a champ. Really nice one.
I dont even have a flyfishing rod and reel but i follow your channel so long that i buy a cheap vise, bobbin and tying material to practice and tying fly for fun😊
Good stuff, Tim. I was taught the "reverse carrot" body for caddis. Most video makers seem to disregard that anymore.
good observation. Kills me when a tier says "I'm going to create a bit of a taper" and then they proceed to do nothing of the sort. This was a good demonstration of the caddis reverse taper.
This is the type of pattern that guides use. Just adjust the recipe to match the size and colors for your target water. Great stuff, Tim.
This pattern looks fantastic for its potential to skitter through multiple twitches before sinking. Also great to learn about the treated poly which I didn't know was available.
Thanks for thin dubbing noodle trick..
Love the DPH Caddis!
Awesome looking little pattern
Great looking pattern, thanks Tim!
So easy yet such a killer pattern..
It´s a beauty!
Couldn’t be easier. I’ll try some. Thank you
Nice fly. I'm gonna have to mess with the recipe and try making a dph-cdc caddis
Отлично👍👍👍
Great pattern! Tim, would EP fibers work for the wing as well?
EP fibers work great for this fly particularly in small sizes like 18's and 20's. EP Trigger Point fibers, like polypro have floating characteristics and are available in a whole bunch of yummy colors. Only problem is, they are about 4 times as expensive as polypro, maybe more.
