Wow! Now have a better understanding of foam cutters and why they are handy for foam flies. Nice technique tying in the legs and getting them even on both sides.

Awesome videos! Your videos are what inspired me to start tying my own flies a long while back. Keep up the great work! I would also like to ask if you can do a video on how you organize your fly desk or just some organizational tips. That would be awesome to see! Thanks!

This is definitely one of the more minimalist hopper patterns I’ve seen. Do you like this pattern just because the simplicity makes it a more versatile attractor, or does the idea of “less is more” apply for hoppers just like it does for so many other insect imitations? Either way, I’m all about fewer steps. Thanks!

Which of the River Road Creations cutters did you use for that foam? In the video it looks like the sides are straight and parallel until the last portion where there is a taper. When looking at the options on the River Road Creations website, I don't see a pattern that looks like the one you have. It may be there, but several of the isolated pictures of the foam patterns themselves would not display on my browser (Safari). Thank you. Cheers,

Awesome video as usual, but I do have one question. The cutter that you used...is it the small "Tapered Chernobyl" style cutter?

The only thing that spooks me is relocating the thread to the head at the end and leaving that single thread across the bottom. But the extra sally hanson's on the bottom should make it solid. Could you just whip finish over the hot spot?

Medium round rubber legs. I also like using old bass jig skirts.
