Great fly. Thanks for posting. Best wishes from a locked-down, no fishing allowed UK.

Here on the White R. in Arkansas. we are in the midst of another spectacular caddis hatch. Saw a buddy tie this fly last week but he had not fished it. I tied up a few. Fished it last two days and it is absolutely deadly. Fish wouldn't touch the "go to" EHC but ate this pattern like candy. Tightlinevideos -- THE BEST.

I’ve used this for browns and rainbows, and when he says boy does it ever work! He is completely correct! Especially, right at dawn or sunset. Enjoy & stay strong my fishy friends!

Nice pattern and very well presented. Interesting hackle tie. I Will try to match the materials and tie a few up for next season as we are in lockdown and in autumn down under in NZ. Thanks.

It looks very similar to the E-12 fly, a super popular fly over here in Scandinavia.

My favorite caddis fly is one that emulates a failed emerger. It is called a cripple calibatus. The body of the fly Rests below the surface. While the head rests above the water. It is best presented upstream of your fish and drifted over the fish.

The neck you got the hackle from looks like a Cree neck.
