- Comparing Bala Bangles with knock offs from amazon. These are perfect for those who want to up their fitness game or just look cute. I bought the one pound weights from amazon because prime. I wanted them quickly, but I couldn't find the 2 lb weights on amazon, so I went straight to Bala. I was kind of surprised at the comparison myself.

The pink ones look flatter and sleeker (I know they weigh less), so I'd go with those.

Good review especially about the experience of using them - like velcro marks and skin irritstion and the bangles falling and hitting bone. These are available only online so i wouldnt be able to try it out before buying so this is helpful.

My question is.. how do you go about washing the fabric? The packaging says to not wash them, just to wipe down the weights themselves..

I got Bala bangles in 2lbs from target since they’re on sale for $54 for the new year and on Amazon the ankle weights I was looking at were $40 and 1 pound. I went with Bala bc I wanted 2lbs for when I’m going on walks around the neighborhood or jumping on the rebounder instead of just 1lb . Another reason I bought Bala is because I eventually hope to have the Bala beam and maybe the ring and I want everything to match 😅

Now that you’ve had them a while, what are your thoughts on each?
Honestly, they're pretty much the same in terms of quality and build. I have the bala ring, which is awesome for more of a challenge. The Velcro has some teeth so they will rip out seams in your leggings.
Do you feel like the bala bangles are a superior quality product to the amazon ones? Or pretty much the same?
The craftsmanship on the Bala Bangles wasn't as good as the Amazon ones. They seem like they're both from the same supplier.
