My thing about comparing MJ and Mahomes is that both at their peak dominated and are dominating their sport to the point no one currently playing against them aren't comparable. MJ was like that in the 90s right in the middle of his dominate run, Patrick Mahomes is doing the exact same thing.

They are. That’s the thing Mahomes and Jordan had in common. You know what’s funny, teams are building super teams now to try and beat the Chiefs. Every year teams make these moves to try and beat one team. That is how it was in the NBA in the 90s. All NBA teams were drafting to try and beat one team and they couldn’t do it. Both MJ and Mahomes kept a ton of people ringless.

No offense to LeBron James, but an athlete being referred to as “the LeBron James of….” that sport is likely not a compliment. They are going to be 17 almost all of the time because football is so early in the school year and 18 if they have an early birthday. Tom Brady is the Lebron of football. No doubt impressive and successful. But he just didn’t have the IT factor physically when defining him as the greatest of all time. Tom was extremely productive but everything he did, Mahomes can do. But Mahomes can do more than what Brady could ever do physically on the field. Same goes with Lebron and MJ. MJ could do everything that Lebron can do. But MJ could do more physically than what Lebron can do. There are iconic physical moments with Mahomes’ passes and Jordan dunks or Mahomes’ juke and runs in the biggest moments where he carries his team with a play no one else in the world can do in that sport and that position. MJ did the same thing. Ice in veins and they make it look easy. Brady and Lebron did absolutely incredible things and have comparable accomplishments if not more at this point but the icons of their sport all time vs everyone else…it is MJ and Mahomes for me and it is not really that close.

I so wish I could like your comment a million times. That is the truest thing I've ever heard said about Patrick Mahomes. I'm not even a Chiefs fan and I can tell you that I enjoy watching him, and Joe Burrow play more than any other quarterbacks in the entire league. The thing is people hate serial winners. Especially when they are winning on a regular basis. I don't see the hate for Tiger Woods. It's only when there is a local market franchise being rooted for. The fact of the matter is that his brother, and wife annoy so many people it's mind-boggling. It's not him personally other than he's the John Wick of the entire NFL. Everyone fears him come playoff time. Everyone fears him when they are up on the Chiefs and It's late in the game. Everyone fears him when he's being doubted. I'm curious what happens when his wheels start to leave him? What happens when he's no longer able to evade all the pass rushers anymore in the pocket?

To me she is a good person, she’s a good mother, and wife. I have zero issues with her. I don’t understand why she gets so much hate. Now Mahomes brother is definitely not likeable. I don’t understand why now Taylor Swift gets all this hate now too. This woman before this past season hadn’t ever been to one football game, now in 2023 she has been to several and she loves it. She can’t help it if the camera follows her around. Well every quarterback needs an offensive line and once Mahomes loses his mobility, then he’s going to have to be more of a pocket passer. And pocket passers need great lines.
