No 13 seconds??
Yeah...right tho!! There are so many highlight reels that could be in anybody's top ten.....
13 in context of the career is not something that won him an mvp or superbowl mvp. To be fair I did like that more than the sb55 buccs drop.
@@jbschrollNo, but it showed he could engineer a comeback even with very limited time remaining, something that all great quarterbacks are supposed to be able to do
I know it’s iconic, but that was equal parts Kelce, Hill, Butker and Pat.
It only got him 3pts...then an OT win. It was a great scenario 4 a win.
That first play against the 49ers in Week 3 is the moment I knew for sure that Pat was different.
Agreed. That’s why I had it at #1. Def the moment for me too. Then left handed against broncos I was like who is this human god
@@HighlightNights it's almost unanimously the moment for everyone. When we all saw that play, we all knew he was going to be a force. And even then, we had no idea he would turn out to be just this generational.
Same. I thought the the first 2 games of the season could have been flukes. But that play left no doubt in my mind. Mahomes was for real.
I was right there in the 2nd row when that happened. I'm in the video
Same I was at that game. I knew immediately we found our guy!!!!!!
That one in the Super Bowl against Tampa was on of the BEST throws he ever made … and it wasn’t caught.
It honestly may have been the best throw ever. To be parallel to the ground, that far out, running for your life . . . and hit the receiver right in the facemask. Unreal.
Maybe the most athletic throw I've ever seen a QB make.
we truly are experiencing football history, we are all so lucky that we are alive during the reign of the greatest QB to ever play the sport. Mahomes is the best to ever play, and might not ever be replaced atop the mountain.
He is honestly the greatest of all time. Up to this point, nobody has achieved what he has done in that amount of time. And his fight to be the best in amazing. Busted ankle? Wants to keep playing, dislocated knee cap? Tried to go back out same game. When it's over, he might go down as not just the greatest football of all time but greatest atlethe of all time.
Frankly him playing multiple playoffs games to win a superbowl with THAT leg injury is the greatest feat any player has ever achieved. Unreal. Alien.
Mahomes will go down as an all time great that's for sure, but y'all gotta understand that he isn't the first to accomplish what he has accomplished this early in his career.
@Valkorion2000 the records show something different. Most wins through 75 games, most passing yards through 75 games, most passing tds through 75 games, highest passing through 75 games, most passing yards first 11 games
That is literally just a few. So he has done something nobody else has done
I agree 1000 % but you got these fkn naysayers out here bout to jump in the comments and argue about a “PERSONAL “ opinion
@@justinday6749😂😂😂 don't forget the refs saving him when he turns the ball over every time
Over the next 10 years we will see more things that we have never seen before.

@@sethaphomsopha3901 I'll be coming back to this comment
One of the biggest play missed which I think is top 5 is the last pass he ever threw to Hill in the 2022 AFC championship game against the Bengals. It bounced off Hill's chest and into the defenders hands, and Mahomes hasn't risked those throws since. In the second 9ers Superbowl, he ran for a first instead of passing because of that play. He learned he can do everything perfect, and it still be the wrong decision. He needs to be better than perfect. It's such an impactful play on the Mahomes legend.
As a Chiefs fan who was skeptical of anything after a lifetime of disappointment, that first clip of the TD to Conley was when I got on the edge of my seat and thought he might be the real deal.
This season is gonna be glorious!!!
I think they kept the needle pointing up, which is really hard to do at this level.
I’ve been following the Chiefs 30 plus years. Blessed to have this young man. The first one, against the 49ers, how off balance he is? The ZIP and placement on the ball. After he avoided ridiculous pressure. You see it all on this play.
The first drive after the Colts blocked the punt in his first playoff game deserves a spot on this list.
For the 25 years before Mahomes, every Chiefs team loses that game because of that one moment. The Chiefs never had the QB who could take back the momentum after a big play like that. But Mahomes comes out and completes the first pass of the next drive for 31 yards, and caps it off by running it in himself.
That was the moment when I knew our playoff curses were a thing of the past.
BEST COLLECTION of clips b/c you included the stories AND NOT just the FLASH!
I could watch this for HOURS!
The crazy thing is you couldve made it a 20 moments video and not only it would it still be this good, and youd still have to leave out good moments
He's had a solid 10 just against the Broncos lol
@@dominicpancella3012 true haha
Thanks for putting these moments in context. I enjoyed seeing them again with all the commentary around them included.
I think the Grim Reaper moment (13 Seconds) has to be included as an iconic moment, but it's so hard to cut it down to just 10 plays.
Nice mix of highlight plays and career milestones. Some great moments were missing, but with Mahomes there are just too many to fit into limited space….
I had about 14 and widdled down to 10. Which ones you think shoulda been in there?
4th and 9 throw against the ravens to tyreek hill. His no look pass against the ravens. His shovel pass to McKinnon against the broncos. 13 second game, and there are so many more hell you could probably do another top 10 of different plays by him
@@jamalacuff4400 100% the 4th & 9.
@@GRITBONE Still my personal #1 Mahomes highlight….
that one against the bucs in the superbowl still hurts me...he hit bro right between the hands.
I use Mitch Holthus’ description of the one “Super Bowl 57 when he ran down the field in pain with the ball in his left hand and a sword in his right.“
Mitch.....another legend. You think Chiefs then hear Mitch's voice
Mahomes pass to Conley will forever be the moment when I realized we found the guy.
Curious if a Top 10 Brady reel would come close to this.
It's not just the talent, it's the toughness and GUTS.
Not even close.
I mean, *_I_* wouldn't particularly want to watch a set of 10 checkdowns and game-winning field goals.
That's the whole thing. Top 10 Brady reel involves scheme and combination of Gronk or Randy Moss. Its so predictable kind of like when Shaq had Kobe you just knew it was gonna be a bucket with that entourage. Rest of his playoff wins were due to game management and all-world defense [literally won the Seawhawks SB with a defensive play]
Nope. I think Tom is currently the GOAT due to his consistent greatness in big moments, accomplishments, longevity, etc. But he doesn’t have a highlight reel that is even close to Pat’s lol Pat is coming for him too
@GWS1010 I mean he has the most championship rings that's ONE thing. They are both incredibly clutch and amazingly cool and calm in the most-heated moments guiding their teams to MULTIPLE championships. Now when you break down what they did to the position of Quarterback to raise the playing envelope and change the game...there's really only one player that did/does that every season and it's Patrick Mahomes especially compared to Tom Brady. So in a sense...the greatest of all time would be PMII but he will always have that super bowl head to head and playoff record vs Brady thrown at him. Again--pound for pound Mahomes is generally regarded as the greatest talent the field as ever seen. And he's still got 10 more years to go.
I was fortunate to watch him when he was at Texas Tech. Since I live in Lubbock. Everybody here knew he was special. And now he is showing the world. I hope he does it for a long time.
his 1st season as a starter is arguably the greatest season of all time. 5k yards and 50-12 TD-INT ratio. 12-4 record, AFC West champions and was a Dee Ford penalty from a super bowl appearance. that was all accomplished w that Chiefs D being the 8th worst defensive unit in NFL history
His bravery after the injury still brings a tear to my eyes. Such a true leader of men. So proud that he is a Chief.
It had to be hard to pick just 10. Mahomes has already accomplished more in six years than most other athletes do in their entire careers.
BTW, I was at game #3, but we were delayed getting into town so the Chiefs had already scored multiple TDs by the time we got to our seats.
Nice job putting these plays together!
That “are you kidding me?” still gives me chills
Week 17 2017 vs Denver was the first stepping stone for Mahomes. More impactful to his career than the first 4-5 clips of this video to be honest because it signaled/reinforced to Reid and the KC front office that he was ready and it was time to move on from Alex Smith.
#10 was my favorite
Pressure down Mahomes is in trouble. Are u kidding me
He is simply amazing
Mr. Magic!!
As a 9ers fan I don't want this on my feed. I like Ole patty though.
I think that run against Tennessee broke Mike Vrabel. I guess he got fired, a couple years later. I think he was very good for TEN and I hope he gets another HC gig.
Mahomes is breaking lots of teams and people lol! The grim reaper strikes again! Just ask the Bills and 49ers haha!
That first clip they showed against the 49ers was the first time I realized just how special Mahomes was. Not only evading the sack but having the situational awareness not to just scramble for the first down. But to keep his eyes downfield find the open receiver and throw on the run scoring a touchdown. I'm not gonna lie watching him throw that ball live instead of running for the first down I thought he'd made a mistake until I saw Conley in the end zone with the football.
I'd like to comment the crowd in the very 1st clip. Mahomes was not anywhere close to being a bandwagon fandom at that time. Yet, the entire crowd is all RED. You know why? Because Chiefs Kingdom has been RIDE OR DIE since the 90's.
I will also admit that on this particular play that I watched the future franchise throw this play, I said out loud "holy SH!T!! We got our guy!" and the rest is history. Any other QB in Chiefs history would NOT make that play. I knew watching that play, we got our guy. So happy I was right.
As they said in the commentary, play #3 was his 50th TD of his 1st starting season. I was so damn happy when he dropped that bomb. Epic is an understatement. Name a better team to get it on than the Raiders?
13 seconds either kelce catch in fg range or for the walk off TD should have made the list. That game will be talked about in 20 years
8:23 number 49 did that on purpose to. He was aiming for Mahomes ankle on that pull down on the sack attempt. Karma struck back fast.
God in football cleats
GOAT
PRAISE JESUS!!Best is yet to come in Jesus name!✝️🙌🙌 Amen
pretty good list. hard to pick just 10.
Don’t forget the refs that call a penalty to negate his interceptions.
So far in his career he’s had 37 ints overturned due to a penalty.
The next closes is Allen with 4.
Can’t argue the facts…Can’t argue the facts
Zero chance it’s 37 and next closest is 4 lol
You missed the 13 seconds against Buffalo.
6:24❤!!#15
Mahomes undefeated against 49ers
I just wanna know, why does the ref go in backwards with DeMarcus?
ill agree with a few of them but not most.
6:30 I never knew that #35 went for the strip on that play. I thought it was a pathetic tackle attempt lol.
Should've put when he sold the afc championship to Burrow
Where did demarcus go to
Do you think Tyreek Hill and JuJu Smith Schuster enjoy the money more or winning more?
Why did Mahomes tell 14 to go right? Was 14 in the wrong formation? Did the coach tell him? Are all QBs allowed to tell players where to go? (I'm a football newbie.)
I still wish we would of beat brady in that super bowl
Leaving out the "13 seconds" Comeback! ? 🤔😜🤪 Okay, okay
THERE'S S O H MANY, ok🤔🙄🧐🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫
Ngl the 13 second moment should definitely be here over probably that eagles run
The eagles run went along with the previous ankle injury play.
@@Dozav7 ik. I’m saying the 13 second moment is more impactful. More legendary
@@SS.Hollywood But the run on the bad ankle vs. the Eagles pretty much won the Superbowl. I agree that the 13 Seconds should be included, I just don't think that would be the play I'd replace.
Um the left handed pass in denver was Mahomes 1st game... so your chronological order is wrong. The 49er game touchdown was the next season. But nice video... hard to pick just 10 plays of his.
No it wasn’t. But thanks for the correction.
Missed opportunity for Mahoments
U available for an interview as marketing manager?
No no look pass against Baltimore
The look on the 49ers face n the Super Bowl reminds me of the loser Josh Allen’s face when we beat them with 13 seconds left n the playoffs. They r all cry babies👶🏻😢
No 24-0?
I do feel like I messed up with no 24-0 or 13 seconds. The first few plays were my “oh shoot” moments to start his career. Raiders td marked that statistical accomplishment that was unreal in first year. And it was tough to leave off Super Bowl moments and the ones that led to them, as well as the two injuries that I thought were season ending!
@@HighlightNights that’s fair! I loved the video. And I guess in terms of “moments” there isn’t a single moment from that Texans game like there was in the Titans game. It’s hard to boil Mahomes to 10 moments 😂
Shoulda named it 13 moments and then still left off 13 seconds!
@@HighlightNights sounds perfect for next years update video 😂
OMG...................shut-up Romo!!!!
U left out so much
Agreed.
Ok, but can we see a compilation of shocked and disappointed coach’s faces in response to his mad skills? And where is the 13 seconds??? That should definitely make top 10. Perhaps #1. 🩵
