- "We're also getting classified information".
A new all source intelligence assessment, which included classified information likely from spies close to Putin, suggests that Navalny's death was something Putin "did not want" at that moment in time, says Dan Lomas.

I donât particularly care what Putin wants and doesnât want. I care about the misery heâs _causing._ If he wants, he can stop it.
Just tell zalensky that go play comedian dont be politics to western then it will stop I think
Mmm, can he?
This news is telling us that Putin might not be able to stop what he's started.
If someone as well-known as Mr. Navalny was (maybe) purposely killed WITHOUT the express order of the big boss, this means a power in Russia -& all parties in Russia are still supposed to operate (arguably) under the thumb & permissiveness of Putin, including the Russian Mob- was working external to or outside of Putin's control, & it's probably the Siloviki since they manage the prisons. Patrushev & the Siloviki are the most powerful interest group under Putin's immediate influence right now.
That's not good in a corrupted society with nuclear weapons, so naturally the World will be concerned about this news. The Siloviki definitely don't control Russia's strategic nuclear weapons, but they probably still have access to deployable tactical weapons of mass destruction including small nuclear, short-life biological, & time-dependent-LD50 chemical weapons. After all it was the internal security services, not the regular Russian Armed Services, who decided to deploy airborne phenobarbital gases in the Dubrovka Theatre hostage crisis. The Russians' record there is mixed.
They killed many of the hostages in the execution of the anti-terror raid & they supposedly captured none alive, which is a goal if you're running an anti-terrorist operation because you want to find out who told you to do this & all relevant information about them & possible cohorts.

If Navalny wasn't assassinated then why was he buried in Russia and not handed over to his family as they wanted?
Umm... he wasn't given back to his family?
There was a long delay. And reports say the corpse had been "mutilated", but there's no official statement to clarify what that means. I think it would be hard to question the family on these details.â@@TrevorSachko
He may have been assassinated against Vladimir Putin's wishes. That's not necessarily impossible.
@@TrevorSachko He was buried in a Moscow cemetery.
Indeed!
I find that very hard to believe that putin didn't have anything to do with it
That's because you have been brainwashed and cannot seem to accept the times the tv and newspapers are lying to you and are not your friends
Thatâs to do with you
Ditto. This is the most amateurish presentation I have ever seen.
Its understandable considering the amount of disinformation that accussed without evidence. Imagine what we don't know about NordStream and even the Ukraine War. Food for thought.
either way i should not think pootin as lost much sleep over is passing
yes, he only buried him in a nightmare gulag prison, duh... don't fall for Russian misinfo pls

Nobody can really know for certain, but I would say this "leak" is pure stirring the mud in the puddle to create an element of doubt, and really should probably regarded as more Kremlin propaganda.

I'd say it's from the west, this is a the beginning of "a way out" for putin I bet
@@csonracsonra9962 And you may well be right. One never knows what is going on behind the scenes. Perhaps there is still a back-channel between the Whitehouse and the Kremlin, but that would be a serious secret!

maybe not but who's going to believe anything putler says?
Apparently Mr. Put said he wasn't going to invade Ukraine and we believed him

Sounds like propaganda to me! Who did it if not pooptin?!
So, this was an interesting discussion, but I thought there were doubts about Putin's direct involvement months ago? Budanov, head of Ukrainian intelligence, even released a statement that their sources indicated that Navalny died of natural causes, likely heart failure caused by his long-term mistreatment within the Russian prison system. His health was suffering terribly. Of course, Putin was directly responsible for Navalny's declining health, so take that how you will.
Dmitri Peskov: "US aid is causing more Ukrainian casualties!" Coming from the aggressorâs side, this level of gaslighting is just... beyond everything imaginable ⊠wow.
This ain't surprising.
Peskov worrying about Ukraine is an absurdity and an oxymoron per se.
But it's obviously so. US aid extends the war and this obviously leads to more casualties.
â@@dalecrocker3213stopping the war can also happen in 1 hour when Russia goes outside the boundaries of Ukrainian territory, and stays out. Like some of the aggression from black sea ships stopped when they decided to remove themselves from a position that continues the war.

So this leak came from putin?
"PUTIN didn't order Navalneys dearh". đđđđđ. Not me guv.
As an American who worked in US Intelligence Services (won't name which) this was a quite brilliant interview regarding Intel and how it's used. I WILL say that in my experience when the President receives the morning PDB, 60% or higher commonly derives from classified internal information that's been breached, and is not open source. However, open source has many definitions, just as a confidential source. It becomes a grey area and Intelligence Services live in the grey area whilst picking and choosing Intel from both ends, open source and surreptitiously obtained.
Ha Ha, yer right, I just looked out the window and saw a pig flying by.
I would pay little heed to a discord leak.
And news media would do us a service if they occasionally dialed out on this situation and reported on patterns of behavior not just individual incidents!
Jaja.. oh no but they verified the source đđ
The 'discord leak' that was mentioned by the guest was referring to that USAF dude in the US dropping himself in the deep stuff last year by blabbing on his gaming chat server - it was just used as an example here about how stuff can slip out on social media these days. There was no direct mention of where the Putin/Navalny stuff was sourced from.
who gave the order for him to be poisoned ??
Novichuk Novichuksky
Great interview, get Dan Lomas back again really soon!!!
Well that really clears things up
Totally agree with the comment below. Stop causing this disaster, misery, terror, your criminal activity. How can you believe a word this consistant liar expounds.
I donât believe words. Proof only đđ
Even if he didn't specifically order it , he still wanted him arrested and put out of the way for good whatever that took. No difference.
If Navalny had been a valuable prisoner-exchange resource for the Kremlin, why did they send him to a notoriously awful prison? As a prized asset, why wasn't he maintained in good health? (Slava Ukraine!) By the way, where's Gerasimov ?
â€Ukrainians â€
Thanks for sharing
Of course it was. Explained on another channel.
Just clicked on this video to leave a comment. I don't believe this for a minute.
Just stop it silly. Why was he put in that prison to begin with?
I call BS. This âleakâ was supposed to leak.
"Heavily caveated" means gossip grade info to me.
Sowhere does the buck stop in the kremlin. This conversation could have been cut down to a couple of seconds. It's chaos in the kremlin.
I feel like this is likely counter-intelligence. I wouldn't jump to believing this at face value.
No ones acts without Putins say so
Ya sure.
Don't believe it for a second.
The nation where they simply make up an organisation for a BBC interview
It was quite obvious, that it was rather a result of typycal russian prison mistreatment than something directed from above.
There are some heavy duty mental gymnastics going on here to paint Putin as incompetent...Putin didn't know/want Navalny killed but Russian leaders were surprised by the strength of western reaction to his killing hence their miscalculation..isn't it more logical that Putin knew what western reaction would be a hence did not want the killing of any dissident...or he did want him killed and miscalculated the western reaction
..it can't be both...while I am not of supporter of any of the parties involved, Putin seems to me be be far more astute than any of his oppents in the US, Europe or the Ukraine.
Agreed.
He recruited Sweden and Finland into NATO, and got Europe to rearm. His Rostec profit share increases, and heâs killing the Russian auto industryâŠ.yesâŠpretty astute
No need to paint putin as incompetent, russia is literally falling apart.
this is pure incompetence trying to exonerate a criminal aided by the propaganda of useful derelicts.
He just placed a known compulsive, risable , fiery, and violent guard in his everyday life where-about and waited. Nipping some caviar with his crownies. Laughing inside, waiting 4 the plan to stick to the surface..
it is completely irrelevant, he put Navalny into prison and tortured him in the first place
Yea, sounds like a lie from Putin to cover up for his past mistakes.
Who will free me from this turbulent priest?
The Times Radio interviewer is doing a parody of a Times Radio interviewer? If that's the case... funny!
He may not have ordered his death, but having Navalny in captivity and no doubt dealt with harshly, hastened his death.

Content: "Heavily caveated, not confirmed, from a discord leak of someone's boasts, USA suggestion maybe" - that's some quality journalism there đđ
This is padded 'content' speculative narrative without facts, maximun respect to a brave voice whose memory should be better served.
Obviously this is nothing that would be dscussed anywhere in the open or in any office. Acting innocent is the easiest thing to do for a good liar.
Is this guest feeling well....looking at his eyes ..
Even if Putin didn't order Navalny's demise, the irony is that the act will ultimately lead to Putin's demise.
Mr Navalny could have been expelled with ceremony from Russia.
And talk talk talkđ€ź
_Quelle surprise!_
I mean, who knew?? đ
Even if he didnt expressly order it. If not for his imprisonment and previous poisoning, its hard to imagine he'd be dead right now. Either way Putin is ultimately to blame. His death is explained by incompetence then.
Secret sauces did he say?
If thatâs true .. then my name is Elvis Presley and I have a planet to sell yaâll.

We will never forgot Navalny. Maybe one day Putler are in the same prison.
Ohhhh come on. Navalny was beeing kept in a horrible place in bad conditions. He was young and died because of the king putin.
So he didn't do it
But twist it enough and - wala - he did it
Censoring comments will not help spread propaganda - you have to keep the balance.
Whether he ordered it or not , keeping Navalny alive was Putin's responsibility. Navalny's death is entirely Putin's fault. Others may simply have done what they believed Putin wanted. It really doesn't matter. In such a case it only means Putin did not make explicitly clear that Navalny must be kept alive and well.
So what are we to believe that puttin is a good guy now
