Remember how France was being called things when Macron had multiple calls with Putin and met him as the only EU leader in the war? Now Macron has realised that there is no talking with this man and that he is a danger to EU security. Let that sink in, and lets start doing what we should have done in 2014. Stand for freedom, stand with Ukraine, and fully support them without playing political games. There is no time for that anymore.

Stand with Ukraine? Zelensky is a US puppet. Hes gone against what his people want. He’s imprisoned all his political opponents and he wont allow an election, at least not until he’s signed up to NATO and allowed the US to have full control over their voting system

Have you heard the recording of Macron's telephone call to Putin on 18 February 2022?
It was published in June that year, I think.

You mean like not giving up when the Ukrainians asked Russia to invade and kick out the Polish Lithuanian commonwealth so they can be free. lol then the Russians liberated them ooops! you forgot. You also forgot that Ukraine was on Hitler's side killing Russians, Polish, Hungarians, and Jews. So you think the USA overthrowing the freely elected government one year before the election and installing a US puppet government gave them freedom. That is such an interesting argument. The fact Zelensky shut down all opposition and called off elections is a good example of this freedom. I think freedom is about free elections but maybe I'm wrong.

Pure US/UK/NATO propaganda. Was the lie of "weapons of mass destruction" not enough to show you what is going on? Continuous wars. An evil enemy has to be found at all costs. Putin has wanted to be a part of Europe from the beginning. He asked to join NATO, to trade with the West to be a partner. He has often said "Russia is part of Europe". The Western leaders made great promises but never had any intention of meeting those promises and forced this divide.
Who organized the coup in Ukraine? Who wanted to sign Ukraine up to NATO? Who tried to genocide the Russian population of Eastern Ukraine and forced Putin's hand? Who blew up the Nordstream pipeline - the US? Who broke the Minsk Agreement - NATO? Putin warned them that he could not sit back and let NATO come right up to his border in Ukraine. They pushed him, then blamed him. They want to destroy Russia because they cannot control it. I read the comments to this piece and you are all educated followers of world affairs but if you don't open your eyes and your mind to both sides of any argument you are arguing out of a paper bag. The US has been in continuous wars all over the world since the end of WWII. They war but the never win. If you defeat the "enemy" who will you sell your weapons to? You have to let the enemy live to fight another day. The US citizens don't want to send their sons and daughters to war anymore so now the US carries out proxy wars. They sell their war machine to both sides - win-win. All the while backed by the UK. Look at our Western countries? What do you see? We are being destroyed from within. They have invited hoards of migrants from the 3rd world who are violently and financially destroying each of our countries. Only Russia is standing free. Putin threw out the central Banks; George Soros et al; he has been involved in the formation of BRICS - with scores of other countries applying for membership; they are trading outside of the US Dollar; Russia are trading with China and it is not one-sided. When the West stopped buying oil from Russia, China stepped in and Russia has not been affected by the sanctions imposed by the West. If this war escalates to the point where Russia uses atomic weapons it will be because the West has supplied weapons for Ukraine and the NATO troops to operate out of Ukraine to attack inside the Russian border. He has warned that any strikes on Russian territory is his red line where he will have no choice but to retaliate. You portray Putin as an evil war monger. Putin has been very restrained and has said at all times he wants a peace deal. But when a peace deal was on the table Boris Johnson was scurried off to tell Zelensky that under no circumstances was there to be a peace agreement. The war must continue. Now we have France, Germany, Sweden all talking about sending troops to Ukraine. They want this war. And I truly believe it will be with us very shortly. But the US have stepped back and will let the European countries send in their armies and Europe will be annihilated. The people of Europe have wakened up to what is happening but I worry we have left it too late and our power has been defeated before we start. We have been illegally invaded, forced to house, feed, educate and care for these hundreds of thousands of migrants, forcing us against each other. We are looking at the annihilation of the white race and the slavery of the migrants - who will be sent to war to fight in this European Armageddon which is about to be unleashed. There is more to be said but the last thing I will say here is we are very close to a One World Government, a One World Central Bank Crypto Currency and a One World Religion - Satanism. May God have mercy on us all - but God will win in the End and Israel will stand when the evil doers have been destroyed.

🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦 Another example of weakness and lack of foresight by western european leaders was the expansion of the Nord-Stream pipeline project. In June 2015, an agreement to build Nord Stream 2 was signed between Gazprom, Royal Dutch Shell, E.ON, OMV, and Engie. By the start of 2015, Ukraine had already been attacked and a strategic portion of its territory had been colonized by Russian expansion.
🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦 "We shouldn't be afraid of our own power","Defence is not escalation", "We should have all options on the table", "Aggressors, autocrats are provoked by weakness", "If Russia wins we're gonna see more wars around the globe, and this is nothing that we want to see" I wish many NATO leaders had this clarity of mind.
🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦 Beware if you have any Russian neighbors. They might want to be protected too. Isn't this how the Russo-Ukrainian war start? A bunch of separatists ask for help, then the tanks a few months later come in into the non separatists regions on a "special military operation"? Next Putin will announce he's sending special operations forces to every high school Russian language class in Europe on the pretext that they have to defend Russian speakers from oppressive homework
🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦 For the time being Russia has no claims for any of European countries, but if Muscovites occupy Ukraine, after that they will invade Poland,Hungary,Romania just like they invaded Ukraine today.

If you really want a lesson in how Russia has developed under Putin, and his mentality in all things, you couldn’t do any better than listen to this interview with Sir Roderick. From my own background a lot of what he says and implies is absolutely spot on. I really feel for Russia - a potentially great country which is being run into the ground in so many humanitarian and economic ways - and its people, who deserve a much better style of leadership so it has a stronger chance of developing into the country it should be. I dread to think how the war in Ukraine will develop if Trump gets in.

@@theresaadams7143 I don’t disagree but it is a lot more complicated than that, particularly when you go back through the way Russia was established and run under the Stalinist communist system and the trust that the people had in the Government because they were beholden to them for providing everything. Putin is banking on that trust and keeping his people subjugated and misinformed. I have seen the effects of liberalisation and coming out of a communist regime in other ex-Russian countries and it does nothing to persuade me that their independence from Russia was absolutely the right way to go.

History reveals that the White House and NATO were the prime catalysts for what is currently happening. Their actions provided Putin for the pretext to invade. Mind, as noted in the interview, he had his own agenda. Still, he was marginalised and his attempts to engage with the west were deflected. That doesnt justify what he is doing, though it is a reminder of how 'our' people in power wreak havoc with their arrogance, lack of awareness, and idiotic flippancy.
