kudos to this man for pointing out the fad of building airport like train stations in the name of modernity. Train travel is fundamentally different than air travel and there is no need to complicate the boarding process just to make fancy looking stations....
the main city stations can and should be upgraded from aesthetic and amenities point of view. nothing wrong with that. many people also use the waiting rooms, washrooms and cafeteria at stations , as they wait for the trains to arrive . nothing wrong in upgrading the major stations atleast.
@@jaguarunleashed4935 yes, and also, people would like to travel via rail more if railway stations are aesthetically pleasing and also practical with various amenities. But, we should not follow the example of Chinese bullet train mega stations in the future as those stations really feel like an airport and make it harder to board the train easily.

If so 30 vbs put in 30indiancities can take 1 125 passengers 100kms in 1hr up dn ie 18000passengers per day per vande bharat in 8 different directions runs 360 degrees of the cities daily ie 1125x8x2 18kpassengers/day or 30vb can take 5.4 lakh passengers per day❤️❤️❤️❤️ All that needs to b do e is allocate 8-10 vande bharat to b made a month In 4 mths make it possible to run them 100kmph ie 1hr 360deg around 30 Indian cities... That will change india in 4 mths straight 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 But ministers r prone to go around the town wearing skirts

If this can b done w a target of 4kms a min then rest of the changes learning from this can b applied towards train 18 can it not b so.... And also towards track improvements and what must b done in all tracks laid henceforth in the country at minimal cost and max quality nd min time ...

Mr. Sudhanshu Mani, What are the things that need to be done to increase average speed of train travel? Decrease excess curvature (/w bridges, tunnels etc)? Stronger switches? Kavach? Fencing? What do you see as the most bang-for-buck items?

मुझे लगता है के रेल्वे जहा भि तिसरि ओर चौथि लाइन बना रहि है वहा ये ट्रैक सेमि हाय स्पिड बनाने चाहिये. भविष्य मे इन ट्रैक पर सेमि हायस्पिड ट्रेंस चलाइ जा सके और एस्झिंस्टिंग ट्रैक पर फ्रेट ट्रेन शिफ्ट हो सके.

ICF makes 220 coaches which can b scaled up to 240 or 280 a month and mint 70-75 memus that runs 160kmph in a month and distribute 12 each to run 50 kms both sides or 360 degrees of a cities ie every 10min frequency solves all the problems ie if 12 memus r distributed to run 6 runs every hr to n fo 50 to 60 kms in 1 hr solves all the present probs in cities esp w feeder bus service 2stns covering a radius of 10-20kms frm the stn nd major stops curtailed to 50kms making trains faster and easier for longer routes nd memus for under 50 kms travel as available every 10min.. Railways adopts 6 cities each mth providing 12x6 72 Memus ie in a yr 60 cities have risen to new levels of travel.. Or railways ensures 60 new metro city creation... So start creating with the power u have ❤❤❤ if v had the power I wd do it Tom.... Make a new Tom today... Railways 2Adopt 6 cities nd create 6new metro cities acroos the nation each month, 😂❤with rcf, mcf taking care of the rest of the products

Sudhanshu ji, railway ko jab tak revenue nahi milegi saare ideas bekar hain. Station redevelopment project, private sector ki entry ke liye important hain. Iske alawa kuch routes per kuch trains ko privatize bhi kiya ja sakta hain. Railway main hamesha government hi paise nahi daal sakti hain

I’ve one question if you can ask this question to Sudhanshu Mani ji -
In the recent interview, Ashwini Vaishnav ji said he(Railway’s) is now targeting to make/upgrade tracks suitable for 130-160 kmph.
Can you ask him why is railway not considering for a higher speed bracket (like 200-250 kmph) from now only as this “incremental increase in capacity” sounds expensive over time & makes us (Indian Railway trains to perform below their intended capacity (like VB trains or upcoming upgraded VB train sets).
2ndly - Through you I’d like to say to the audience, ki we need to get rid of the mindset of private players involvement in Railways (especially Rolling stocks, station cleaning, station maintenance & other facilities at railway stations ) as these are the key areas where they can improve passenger comfort, safety & experience hugely & much more efficiently.

Ashwini sir said over all tracks and of course few selected tracks will be upgraded for HSR. This is not practical at all, It will be way too costly.
Any speed above 160kmph will require more new signalling system which is way expensive than what is required till 160kmph
@@VishalSharma-wl3qi true, but overtime these costs can be compensated. The idea is even in popular Del-Bom; Del-Kol routes which is extremely over utilised needs faster trains & more tracks.
Efficiency is required on those routes.
Even with current infra 100-110 kmph speed is achievable & sustainable but many Trains don’t get the required stretch or just simply can’t continue.
@@kaniska12 HSR like current Ahm-Mum will have separate tracks/signalling everything. The tracks used are standard gauge & I doubt they’ll upgrade BG for other routes. Doesn’t make sense.
So even newer routes added will be of same specifications.

Privatisation of operating railways does not seem logical to me.
If the route is profitable, why give it to someone else... if it is in loss why would any private player want to enter there.
If someone wants to lay new routes and operate them privately.. I think that can be allowed.. even in bullet trains. instead of govt. getting involved, high cost transportation should be handed over to pvt. players..
and instead of land acquisition they can pay rental fees wherever pillars will be erected.
prvt players as a part of PPP model are imp for providing upgraded and efficient services on certain routes or trains. a particular profitable route mostly has multiple trains , some may be govt operated and some prvt players. that brings more options to the customers who want to pay more for upgraded services and experience by pvt players and the govt will also earn from the tax and revenues as the contracts are mainly on a revenue sharing basis . no prvt player will lay new routes and operate private trains on them . the contracts are mainly on lease and contract basis . secondly, rental fees of a land area changes from time to time, hence paying rent for the pillars would be far more expensive than one time land acquisition by railways and utlizing the area the way they want free from any sort of ownership issues or leasing issues or rental issues that may arise later.
