at 10:12 we were confused with the Carens platform, hence, after rechecking with some more sources we got to know that the internet is divided with the b/w K2 and K1, platforms, some sources claim that Carens is based on the k1 platform while others claim the k2 theory, for now, we believe the K1 platform is more closely related to carens due to its Price Placement.

Wrong, sources can be wrong on Google if not researched deeply well. Carens is K2 platform as it's a recreational 6/7seater car based on Sonet like car that comes under K2 platform not K1.

Biggest scam alert ???! You are the right person to raise voice related to this.
Why e20 fuel price is equal to normal fuel price? Is there any scam by petrol pump owners ?
I agree farmers may get benifit. But if it should be min 5rs less than normal fuel, people will go for this. It should be profitable for both farmers and users. Now looks only petrol station owners making profit ! Please make a detailed video related to e20 milage, performance, benifits etc. Also question about its price and raise your voice to bring the change.

He also has the benefit of being easily able to acquire original spares and have them fitted by the local mechanics when the car is older/over warranty.
    Also,
Volkswagen owns Skoda, its not a partnership

So even though dodge challenger and Chevrolet Camaro are owned under same car group, they are essentially competing product lines.
Service experience does differ. If you buy a TVs 310rr you have to go to a TVs service centre. If you buy a BMW 310rr you go to a BMW service centre. But you'll also me paying alot more for the experience.

Hyundai Kia are the only mainstream brands that understand what customers want. The way they do things is just exciting in a way which you don't feel from other companies.
Hyundai and Kia together clinched three of the six World Car of the Year awards, late last month, all while undercutting their competitors. The Kia EV9 won both World Car of the Year and World Electric Vehicle awards, while the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N was recognized as the World Performance Car.

    @chirag5005 Před 21 dnem

    Totally Agree.
Platform Sharing does indeed give a wider scope to the manufacturers to develop better features and aesthetics of the car.
Rebadging on the other hand gives less space for the creativity although being cost effective.
Toyota should bring in their RAV-4 to the Indian market and Hybrid to the fortuner.
Waiting to see what Suzuki would do with these 2 models.

Today, I had my second Honda Elevate test drive of the top model, the CVT ZX. However, I must say that it doesn't feel like a true Honda product; it only bears the Honda name. On rough roads, there is excessive cabin noise, especially in the back.
The cabin is spacious enough and can be considered the best in its segment. However, the excessive noise is a major issue. The suspension needs significant improvement compared to market competitors like the Creta and Seltos, as well as accelerator noise while pressing the race pedal. I tried both slow and aggressive driving, but the result was the same. I'm not sure if the test drive model I used had specific issues, but I tried two test drives from different dealerships because the overwhelmingly positive reviews intrigued me.
I have to wonder why the Creta and Seltos have had such peak sales performance. While I need a family vehicle for the long term, I don't want to rely solely on a brand name.
I test drove the Hyryder, Seltos, Creta, Nexon, and Elevate, all in the petrol segment. However, I was disappointed by their price-to-performance ratio. This segment is particularly confusing for buyers in the 15 lakh price range.
In my experience, the Grand Vitara is cheap market garbage for such a premium segment of 15-20 lakhs.
I'm still confused about what to buy. If anyone has any good experiences with a good vehicle under 15 lakhs in May 2024, please let me know; it would be a great help.

I completely agree, it has become very essential to focus on value and quality while considering options which rely on platform sharing. Imo, the image of toyota has fallen down. They are known for creating high quality stuff but rebadging suzuki cars has tarnished that USP.

Good content .. you should have explained the 4 different type of sharing between brands
    4. Last minute logo swap with no changes aka maruti and toyota
    3. Logo swap after car development for increased sales like renault / nissan from dacia duster
    2. Joint development from start of product development like vw and skoda for vento or kushaq
    1. Platform sharing with complete different product development teams who try using part from same bin wherever it suits them aka vw golf and audi A3.
To add to this there is difference between perceived quality between brands. Expected quality difference in india between Skoda and vw is minimal. People who are buying toyota and getting maruti are cheated big time.
That is what makes that ' sharing' bad for consumer and disastrous for company in long run

Somehow this strategy worked for us. My family bought a Kia Sonet bcoz every family member was reluctant to buy Hyundai Venue bcoz of it's looks and it was a Hyundai. But after seeing design of the Sonet with the customer service experience of Kia, everyone agreed to buy the Sonet in a heartbeat.

Totally agree and brand like Toyota must do something about this because we want to buy a Toyota design international product not other brands products from their showrooms and these copy things run only for 1-2 year than people start buying other brands

The perception of the Indian customer to etios and yaris is the cause. With high government taxes. Thats why I think maruti and Toyota collaborated. Yaris and etios are very practical cars and Toyota did a lot of stuff themselves before releasing these cars into the market. They would have spent millions to develop these cars .ive heard that the Japanese themselves came to India to study what the market wants. They did this in the US and thats how they became no.1 there. But in India the total opposite happened. The market backstabbed toyota. Toyota is also partly to blame because their advertising and designing department was behind compared to other manufacturers, but their goal was practicality over everything. In the end, the market has changed, emission norms, safety etc. and building cars more suitable for customers requests are slowly on the decline. So because of the maruti and Toyota partnership, toyota has two options...copy Maruti suzuki , or introduce their own models. But if they introduce their own model, maruti will copy sooner or later. It can cause toyota some losses. So i think they r trying to play safe. Observing the maruti model becoming a success, and then releasing their rebadged model in the market is safe for them

Have booked the Glanza this month, because I prefer it's design over Baleno which is subjective ofcourse also, I managed to get more than 1 lakhs of discount and free extended warranty for 5 years, which was the dealbreaker for me and surprisingly am getting Glanza at a much cheaper price than what the Nexa dealerships were providing for Baleno
