Routine maintenance, folks. Rotate the steering wheel, top off the horn fluid, check the blinker pressure. Not a big frickin' deal.
thats a mechanic shops "tune Up" job bro. dont out them like that
Customer states " I hit a hubcap". Didn't mention that the hubcap was still attached to a car.
Customer probably hit a whole as wheel/ rim.
@@balinorgryffudd2963 and the axel. Springs. drive shaft.
Or a WHEELCHAIR....
Or they meant manhole cover.
Just a reminder, the drivers of these cars have the same voting power as you.
thats how we got trump.
@@donsurlylyte Are we better off now or when trump was in? Remember, we were told that trump would start new wars and gas would be 5$ a gallon if trump was elected, how did that turn out?
As proven by what has happened in the last three years.
@@donsurlylyteyeah, the last three years have been a fucking non-stop party, huh?
And not only that, but they have procreated and now have even dumber children(if that's even humanly possible).
Remember. These people are out there, on the road, with you and me.
"I hit a Hub cap.." Yeah..he failed to mention that Hub Cap was still attached to that truck wheel.
Unbelievable what crap actually drives on the road.
I think I scared the people who last worked on my car in a different way. For context, I’m an SFX makeup artist for film/tv. I had just taken an animatronics workshop before and left all my stuff in the trunk. My dealership always washes and cleans the car after a service. Got my car back realizing I didn’t take my stuff out. Poor people probably popped the trunk and came face to face with a full sized latex clown head and a fiberglass skull with a bunch of wires and eyeballs. Oopsie. Clown jumpscare probably wasn’t something anyone was expecting that day.
I still maintain that cars built 40-60 years ago were better quality with far superior materials like non-recycled steel that didn't rust out anywhere near as fast as they do today. Maintenance was also simpler that didn't require big dollar diagnostic equipment either. Just a few basic hand tools and a good understanding how things work generally got most people by. Man, I miss those days!!😢😢😢
At 0:48, that appears to be one of your thrust bearings for the crankshaft
that was my immediate thought. you can see the little grooves where the rollers are supposed to be. that guy's motor is now either "fix it or fuck it"
11:37 that might be a faulty EGR Valve that is causing that noise by opening and closing quickly
That's my guess.. seen this once before on a vehicle I was working on, very loud and at scared that crap outta me the first time it happened 😂💀
That's what I was thinking too, had a few come in like that... Either that or the High pressure fuel pump is going since it is driven by the cam on those and get mighty noisy.
Yep EGR they click like that cos they can't reach there calibrated range due to carbon buildup internally, usually wants a decent clean and nothing more, but many just throw a new one in it
Dude, aluminum foil on an exhaust? Everybody knows you're supposed to use a Dinty Moore can!
I can never get enough of these videos.
The best of the best as always. Thanks for sharing these incredible videos with us. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Doctor: patient states arm hurts. Wonder why? “Shows x ray of broken arm”
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. If it’s broke, still don’t fix it. If it still moves, drive it.
Seems to be a code for some folks.
it seems to be for mechanics, the ones on here complain about people bringing their cars in for repairs then complain when they bring them in for routine maintenance then complain about people doing that routine maintenance themselves
I really enjoyed the video, especially the part where the customer was given the opportunity to assist with the tap. Overall, it was a great video that left me wanting to know more.
I do not understand how many of these can even happen. What else is going wrong around these people that they just don't notice or care why it's happening. Much of Australia has very strict laws about these things & mechanics are not allowed to let dangerous cars on the road so things like this are rare here.
Those of us who live in countries with mandatory annual safety inspections are spared the worst of these things!
Majority of the time they don’t care and decline repairs, and when they come back because a catastrophic failure has occurred they try to blame it on us lmao
12:54 I saw that very ford being test drivin while test driving a lexus for my dealership. It was smoking out the whole street while the tech he was driving it!
14:12 - funny enough, the maggots are the cleanest thing in that console
@1:42. Was it a hub cap off an A380?
"There's a shake when at low speeds" Yeah, I would not want to be driving that at high speeds!
At high speeds its well-balanced. Trust me.
88,000 kilometres or 45,000 miles?...yep, that's just the sort of guy I want working out my bill...😂
@1:45, ran over the whole tire and rim! 😅
18:05 Yes and no. If it's a simple leak, cheap radiator or hose that's bad to use stop leak for sure because it's gonna harm other car components. But if it's a leak which require dismounting many hours or overall very expensive repair on the old vehicle and otherwise it's totalled mechanically stop leak might be good option, can give car one,two or more years to go. Not every stuff like that is bad, it's how and when You use it.
11:36 sounds like the starter has multiple dead spots
I wonder why, next video, I wonder why. Great video
Customer states: 'i hit a hub cap '. My ass. You hit the whole wheel, that's what you did
And the wheel was still attached to the other vehicle.
Hahaha no shit
Now I remember why I don’t own a car.
and this is why we have MOT's in the UK haha
Just a wild-ass guess at around 11:50: I'd start by looking at the A/C compressor clutch. That's just an off-the-top of my head clicking noise that comes and goes. Could be something else, but that's where I'd start looking.
My first guess as well. Maybe pistons took a shit in the compressor
On the 2012 sonata if it's a hybrid it's most likely the hybrid generator making that noise. There's a nut that holds the pully that loosen up
Every time I see these vids, appreciate even more living in a state where vehicles have to pass yearly safety inspection. 🙂
But does that stop anyone from just driving anyway? No its just a way to force good people to submit
Morality, responsibility, and sanity cannot be legislated. Laws will solve nothing.
@@NO-background-music-in-videos. actually it does, you can be pulled over and your vehicle impounded if it is unsafe.
The turn signal folding the seat isn't a bug it's a feature😂
1:45 Geez Zuz, was it still attached to the truck. 😳
0:18 - This is one reason why I will never get a CVT transmission.
Just the Nissan and early Subaru and Honda ones were bad. Most of them are quite reliable
yo where do I get that brake glow at 3:20 😂
The noise on the Sonata sounds like a cooling fan issue
3:43 Reasonable reaction.
The game is actually entitled, "What was in my oil pan, and how the f*ck did it get there?"
Looks like the hubcap still had a wheel attached.
Yep times are good.
What worries me is that I’m meeting these vehicles on the highway at 55+ mph
11:28 Hyundai Sonata - sounds very much like an electric fan trying to spin up, but being unable as it rubs on something (plastic).
Probably the radiator or AC fan.
Hubcap still attached to the rim?
the hyundia sonata could be a semi stuck valve or a starter engaging
Every engine failure you could just say.... Manufacturer states 10,000 mi oil change intervals... Planned Obsolescence
11:50 ac kompresor?
Hub cap 😮 more like anti tank hubcap😂😂😂😂
the 2012 sonata is probably a spun main bearing
12:16, an.. interesting reaction.
What are those things in the oil pan?
4:11 "Thankily"
14:10 You say yuck but I say fish bait.
What could go wrong. It's new go go go😊😅😅😂😂😂
0:26 Why not to buy a CVT car
Can someone explain the turn signal moving the backseat and what was needed to be fixed lmao
The Hub-Cap was CONNECTED to a TRUCK.....
How about customer states I’m gonna lie to you…see if you can catch me at it …🤪🤪🤪🤪
Okay, play with the radiator, then ask if it's rod-knock.
Oil does not go anywhere near the water pump....... i didnt think these were bot vids but now I do
Licenses NEED to be suspended. It's not a right, it's a privilage. Some of these are funny but many are careless and SICK.. I work part time at a friend's shop and am a shadetree on top of my actual job. We see some crap but some of the stuff I see on these 'customer rolled in'' channels is absolute criminal neglegence
Privilege*
16:01 the battery is just dead
I know whats wrong with it!. Aint no gas in it!.
just think, they are driving next to you
0:27 what are those pieces? there are so many of them, to many for them to come from the inside of an engine.
I wondered the same. It looks like someone sabotaged the car.
That is the remnants of a cvt belt in a garbage design transmission. Never buy a vehicle with a cvt trans.
@@DinDooIt ahhhhh, thank you. I've never seen that before, though I've never worked on anything CVT either. 😂
@@DinDooIt Came to find this out, THANK YOU.
The magnets look like they're absolutely covered in shavings. Did the transmission eat itself alive after the belt came apart?
Cars tend not to move with piston nuggets and adjustable con rods
11:23 Timing Chain or oil pump chain rattle?
0:58 that's not even the wheel bearing, you can see that the rotor isn't moving with the wheel
These vehicles R on our roads ! This is why there should B state vehicle inspection in EVERY STATE ! ! !
I'M THE CUSTOMER AND I'M NOT LAUGHING 🤬
customer states, i bought the cheapest piece of crap i could find, & never maintainenced it.why wont it run right?
Customer destroyed engine because lack of oil . He dosent let me turn engine in order to prevent additional damage !
A/C clutch cycle in out noise
I dont know how peoples oil gets so thick n nasty. I had a beater that i used chainsaw bar oil in it and wasnt that bad.
How isn't it criminal to drive so dilapidated
Some people should NEVER own a car
It's snoring.
Honda....timing chain.
These are the worst
Drive it intel the wheels fall off
Good Christ. You can't even spell a simple word such as "until"? We're in big trouble. Idiocracy is NOW.
Mechanics: complain about customers brining cars in for service after issues arise
also mechanics: complaining about customers bringing in cars with no issues wasting their time
you can’t win with them 🙄
What is with the oil U use in America I change oil on cars that have been over 100k KMs n it ain't solid like the crap U guys have
Modern vehicles are disposable appliances. I've seen old cars run years without any maintenance and they just made a little noise and maybe some smoke. If you're a few days late on a modern engine oil change, the car will explode. They're all junk
Yep. Every last one.
The tinfoil guy should be arrested for extreme idiatry
That's "idiocy", son... Now, who 's the idiot?
