In the 80s, I did a head job on a 74 pinto 2.3l. When I was done, I connected the battery. As the positive touched, the battery blew up, in my face! When I got back to the car 1/2 hour or so later, the stereo was blaring. I turned the key and started the car!! Big hole in the battery. 😮
"Check for a coolant leak."
- "Ahyup, that's a coolant leak. That'll be $75 for the minimum diagnosis fee."

Ok. Seriously. How do you mistakenly fill your master cylinder with anything other than brake fluid? I made the mistake once of pouring washer fluid into my radiator reservoir, but this is just ridiculous. 😂

From the looks of it I'm guessing that some of the accessory power wires is probably damaged in some way in most cases like that the accessory wire system is separate from the main system that runs the engine but that's just a guess I could be wrong. 3:08

That particular model is every single one since the beginning of time.
I have an 05 Ram that does this intermittently. I get a “No Bus” message where the odometer is.
Ford family has the same problem. I've had 2 Mercurys and a Taurus wagon that were extremely problematic.
So what do you drive ? I can bet you what ever you drive has it's issues also

Unless you're a starving mechanic (unlikely!), I would always turn away a car that is too contaminated to drive out of the working bay. Anyone that does that to me, doesn't deserve my work.
