Baldur's Gate 3 - Solo Honour - Ansur - Monk

This is from a solo Cleric playthrough, though I am using Monk here for some reason. I cannot remember why. I think I wanted to test something, because I notice scanning through the video that I messed up multiple times. This encounter is very easy as monk, there's almost no danger.
I generally take videos of every combat encounter, but I'm only uploading significant encounters right now, as it takes ages to sort through the videos and to upload them. If there is a specific encounter that is not uploaded that someone wants to see, leave a comment and I will upload it. I don't have time to record commentary, to edit or to rewatch the videos. There are a few instances of playing more than easy encounters or insignificant bits of the game on Steam Deck, so they would lack videos.
I sometimes make mistakes, sometimes get unlucky or lucky, and sometimes things just do not work out as planned or expected. It is easy to say in hindsight what could have or should have been done differently, but c'est la vie.

Watching you handidly beat Ansur solo with a monk in Honor while I struggle with a 9-team member party in Tactical made me realize I'm not paying enough attention to my builds lol Definitely will pay more attention and play more decisively in my Honor run, my first playthrough is a "I just want to get to the end and wrap the story" currently. Honor run will definitely for the RP. I already have a Monk character ready, just gonna wrap my Warlock Lollth Drow playthrough first.

Yes, but not one that was exclusively Monk.
By the way, if you did not know, the reason Ansur is so easy with Monk is because he cannot consistently damage you due to Lightning Breath being a Dexterity Save spell and Monk gets Evasion at level 7, which makes all Dexterity Save spells do no damage on a save, and half without a save. Using Lightning Resistance already halves the damage. You most likely will always save against it with high dexterity. Stormheart Nova can still hurt you bad, if you do not save against, but it's also a dexterity save. That's the only dangerous bit, but you can avoid getting hit by it by hiding behind something or going back into the previous room and hiding.
